$300 – A quiz about Neon EVM
Hello,
We tend to see the emergence of new crypto projects daily. As regarding EVMs, we know that EVMs (Ethereum Virtual Machines) has been trending for a while now. In comparison to other EVMs across other Blockchains, can you highlight the advantages that Neon EVM has over other EVMs across DeFi (For ex, Zk-EVM)? Convince us on why developers should choose Neon EVM over other competitors out there? In conclusion, can you prove to us that Neon EVM wouldn’t just be a short hyped project but a project that will hold a long term credibility and remain solid in the ocean of DeFi flagships.
Hello,
Let’s talk about Neon Governance. From study, I understand that the Neon economy is fee based and $NEON will be a utility token and will be used for governance. In a nutshell, tell us how the Neon Governance is structured; will every user have a equal chance to participate in the governance system? Can you highlight the eligibility to participate in the governance system, perhaps a user needs to hold a certain amount of token to be able to vote on certain proposals? Apart from the governance function of the token, could you highlight other utilities of the $NEON token?
Hello
As I Know, Neon is an Ethereum Virtual Machine on Solana that allows developers scale Ethereum dApps by using Solana. Can you explain in details how the Neon EVM works? How can developers leverage the EVM fully? Since the Neon EVM is built on Solana, can you highlight the gas fees associated with using the Neon EVM, is it relatively affordable? Also, Solana may experience some sort congestion as some point which may slow down the speed of transactions; can you tell us if Neon EVM has any strategy to mitigate issues associated with Solana congestion, perhaps an alternative in such situations?
Hello, Neon EVM Team!
As a developer, I am interested in knowing what Neon EVM offers developers; As a developer, how can I leverage the Neon EVM’s tech? Could I code dApps in languages I know (solidity, vyper, etc)? To deploy Ethereum dApps using Neon, do I need to reconfigure the smart contracts? Highlight the scalability benefits of Neon EVM.
Neon is a fully Ethereum-compatible environment on Solana, what’s the reason of selecting solana, Why not polygon, Tron, bnb?
Hello, Neon EVM team!
While I’ve heard about EVMs severally, I was yet to see any EVM built on Solana before seeing Neon EVM. Being the first on Solana, this may quite tedious because there’s absolutely no EVM on Solana whose mistakes Neon EVM can learn from. How do you aim to make the Neon EVM project a successful one? Can you tell us about NEON EVM’s partner company/projects, backers and advisors? Does the team have enough funding on ground to enable a swift and seamless completion of the Neon EVM project? Lastly, what problems do you aim to solve with the Neon EVM project?
Hello, Neon EVM team!
To launch a close perfect product/service, we observe that quite a number of projects goes through a series of testnet phase prior to mainnet launch. I derive joy in testing out new things; Could you kindly highlight the phase of testnet that Neon EVM is currently at? Is the Testnet phase opened to everyone? Is the Neon EVM Testnet incentivized, as most users are attracted to airdrops these days? When should the Neon EVM to go fully live in correspondence to the project’s Roadmap?
Speaking of Neon DAO, I understand that Neon DAO is a decentralized Neon EVM governance layer. Can you elaborate on Neon DAO, how is the Governance layer executed? Who are classified as the DAO participants and under what condition is a user qualifed to be a participant on Neon DAO? What responsibility is the Neon DAO tied with? Does the function of Neon DAO include setting up Neon EVM parameters and agreeing on redesign and updates to the Neon EVM
Program? How will you make the governance system fair and ensure that power isn’t only vested on a group of people (whales)?
Due to my understanding, the Neon EVM architecture is made up of three major components; The Neon EVM program, Neon Proxy and Neon DAO. Give a brief description of each of the three components mentioned above, how does each component sum up to make Neon an outstanding EVM? Also, I noted that your ecosystem participants includes: Neon EVM user, Neon EVM operator, dApp and Neon transactions. Kindly distinguish between each ecosystem participants. How can I leverage the Neon Economy as either a user or developer to gain the maximum benefits off the project.
On your whitepaper, you clearly highlighted that Neon EVM addresses some major challenges; Transactional Challenges and Ecosystem access challenges. In this regard can you explain the sort of solutions that Neon EVM offers the challenges mentioned above? Speaking of Transactional Challenges, can you explain how Neon will make transactions swift, seamless and cheap. Expantiate on the forms of solution that Neon EVM offers Ecosystem access challenges, how will you reduce the Ecosystem entry barrier?
Can you enlighten us on how transaction with/in tokens works on Neon EVM? On your docs, it was mentioned that two variants of ERC-20 tokens are available: ERC-20 tokens and ERC-20-for-SPL. Can you differentiate between the two types of tokens mentioned above? Does the Neon EVM allow users to bridge and dApps to use ERC-20 assets from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains to Neon EVM? As regarding the ERC-20 tokens for SPL, I understand that Two contracts are available on Neon EVM that enable SPL tokens to be transacted as ERC-20 compliant; can you describe these two contracts, what function does each of the contract serve? What is the difference between these two contracts?
As stated ,that Neon Operators run Neon Proxy servers to facilitate the seamless execution of Ethereum-like transactions on Solana. It is this proxy service that allows Ethereum dApps to be ported to Neon with minimal reconfiguration. Operators accept payment in NEON and make payments within the Solana Ecosystem in SOL. So how much does a user pay for gas fee required for transactions execution? Is there a fixed percentage or it differs from one user to another depending on the amount of transactions executed?kindly explain
Your platform is organizing an EARLY CONTRIBUTORS PROGRAM (ECP) And it’s has already commenced , what kind of activities will interesting participants engage in to be eligible for reward? Can a member who is already on your discord channel also participate on the Zealy task ( is dual participation allowed)? Please more information about this thanks
Hello Neon EVM Team
I understand that Neon EVM is built to solve Ethereum’s difficulties, but we know Ethereum L2 projects also built to solve the same issue as your project. So, Could you explain what differentiate between Neon EVM and other Ethereum L2 projects ? Why you guys choose to build on Solana despite many other blockchains that are effective today ? Lastly, I saw from your roadmap on Post-Beta list that Neon EVM will have interoperability with Solana smart contracts. Since it’s built on Solana, Why Neon EVM still need time to interoperate with Solana smart contracts ? Does this mean we can’t use Neon EVM on Solana Dapps ?
Thank you
Hello Neon EVM Team
When I learnt your project, I saw that NEON token is the native token of Neon EVM. But I couldn’t find the guide on how to get the token. So, Could you please tell us how to get NEON Tokens ? Also, Could you please show us the tokenomics of NEON tokens since you stated that NEON tokens don’t have inflation or deflation rates. Lastly, For every Neon transaction, Neon user will pay SOL to Solana Validator and pays NEON to cover Solana validation fee and platform fee. So, Does every user need to own both SOL and NEON in order to execute every NEON transaction ?
Thank you
Hello Neon EVM Team! I am curious to know more information on your grants program. According to your roadmap, it will be launched by the end of this year. Have you already decided about the procedure, regulations and the beneficiaries? If yes, please give a sneak peek about the grants program. We all know that similar projects to Neon EVM also offer grants to attract users. How does your platform differ? Compared to the grants offered by similar projects, what are the unique features of your program?
Hello Neon EVM Team! One of your most interesting features is familiar smart contract languages. I read that users are allowed to write dApps in languages they know, like Solidity or Vyper. Can you elaborate more on this feature? How many languages are allowed and where can I get those information? In addition to this feature, do you offer any other conveniences to dApp writers? As a dApp writer, why should I choose your platform when there are plenty of similar projects?
Hello Neon EVM Team! This question is regarding your token mode. I read that your native token, $NEON works as the utility token and the governance token. After understanding that it is the payment method for user transactions as the utility token and represents a vote in the Neon DAO as the governance token, I am curious to know about the utilities of $NEON for the investors who are not interested in your concept. Is it advisable to purchase and hold $NEON just as a long term investment? If yes, how do you assure the future development of your project which makes the token worth holding? Is there a specific reason to build your concept on a single token mode?
On the 17th July 2023, On theblock.co, Neon EVM announce that it has officially launched it’s mainnet to support Ethereum apps on Solana. Congrats on reaching this major milestone! My question is regarding Neon EVM’s performance metrics on mainnet since the stated launch date; So far how would you describe the performance of the EVM, has it been good? What is the performance metrics of Neon EVM on mainnet, speaking of the total users(daily, weekly or monthly as the case maybe), scalability, fees and transaction throughput? What is the peak and the lowest transaction speed (TPS) experienced so far? Have you experienced any forms of system downtime since launch? In relation to the mainnet interaction, what new features are you planning to integrate on the mainnet in the nearest future?
It was stated that to make Neon EVM more “user-friendly” for both developers and end-users, we created the Neon Web3 Proxy — an optional infrastructure component for the Neon ecosystem. Now my question is What are the requirements needed to be a Proxy operator in Neon? What features have you put in place to enable the Neon Web3 Proxy to facilitate seamless transactions on Neon EVM? Can you please in a nutshell tell us how Proxy works on Neon EVM? Also, it was mentioned that each Neon Proxy Operator charges a fee for Neon transaction execution. Will the fees be determined by the proxy operator or it’s fixed by your platform? Please explain Thanks
I would like you to talk about “NeonPass” a tool that facilitates the transfer of ERC-20 tokens between Solana and Neon EVM. Since users will execute 2 transactions one on Solana and Neon, is the gas fee fixed? How are transactions calculated on Neon EVM since it will also be done on Solana? You also mentioned that if a Solana account is created as an outcome of the transaction “the fee also includes the lamports required to comply with rent exemption”. Can you elaborate more on what that means? Thanks
Greetings NEON EVM Team
It’s so great to know that NEON EVM is built for Ethereum and Solana developers and they are called as operators. For new operators, Could you guide us how to build on NEON EVM ? Could you mention what top projects that are already building on NEON EVM ? From your roadmap, you mentioned about whitelisted operators. So, how to join and become whitelisted operators of NEON EVM ? Is the whitelist registration still open for all operators ? Lastly, Is NEON EVM still on testnet phase ? How can we get test tokens if we want to try NEON EVM ?
Greetings NEON EVM Team
Backers are one of the most important aspect for Web 3.0 projects to gain trustness from investors. After I visited your Twitter, I saw Neon Labs is the core backer of NEON EVM project. As per campaign allocation, tokens awarded to loyal members are locked for one year? And after unlocking, vested equally for how many months on monthly basis. Does its locking and vesting period align with our commitment to sustaining the Neon EVM ecosystem? Is this token-release strategy consistent with the objectives of early backers: does it somehow reflect a commitment to share for long-term growth?
Hello team
I’m sure there are some challenges that Neon EVM is facing. Can you tell me more about these challenges and how you are planning to overcome them? And I’m curious to know why you chose to build Neon EVM on Solana. What are the advantages of building on Solana that made it the right choice for your project?
Is Neon EVM an Ethereum Virtual Machine?
Which works as a smart contract in Solana This empowers developers to directly deploy Ethereum dApps with minimal refactoring to the code while benefiting from Solana’s technological advantages. Is it built with security, decentralization and sustainability as its core tenants?
Greetings Neon EVM team!
My question is based on the Neon Builders Early program. I would like you to clarify something for me please, after reading about the program, I understood that Neon EVM is an EVM on Solana, but there was something outstanding that I found out about the program… I noticed that your project kind of enabled Ethereum-based applications to have access to Solana’s scalability and liquidity without any changes to their codebase. I have not seen something like this before, can you please explain how you were able to come up with the idea? Is there any possibilities in the nearest future that Neon EVM would also accommodate Other Network Dapps like the BSC, Aptos, Optimism etc in the nearest future?
Greetings Neon EVM team!
I would like to know more about Neon token. How and where can I buy Neon tokens? Can Neon tokens be used for more than just transferring value? Does Neon tokens have fast transaction speed? If yes, how does it achieve that? Are Neon tokens interoperable with other Blockchain tokens? How does Neon tokens contribute to the growth of Solana’s ecosystem? Does Neon tokens have high transaction fees? Thanks
Greetings Neon Even Team!
It is quite Surprising that you chose Solana Network Among all available Networks to build on. Ever since the Bear market Came, several Networks has been experiencing severe dump for months now, not to even talk about the Solana network which have been struggling for while now within the Crypto space. Although the etherium network stood out among all of them as many projects have been making wave in the chain. So I would honestly appreciate it if you could provide insights to the community on why you choose Solana Network to build On. What advantage would the Solana network present to your users?
Thanks.
To b honest, Transparency is key to eveyproject, how are you going to govern your platform? Is there any token allocated for fOR Dao? can also talk about your spendings? How much money is dedicated to marketing and other promotional activities?, and how would your Team get paid for all their efforts?.. i think the community would appreciate that.. a lot of project often tends to Extort money from the Marketing and other services and leaving the users dry
My username here is not correct.

Hi
Can you talk about the opportunities available for users to Get the $Neon Token?
I would like you to talk about the opportunities available for Users to get their hands on your Token which is $NEON. I read something on your Website which stated that the $NEON token will be released in four stages according to the completion of project milestones evaluated on a case-by-case basis. My question here is this, what if I am not a Builder that can deploy any Dapps at the moment? Is there any opportunity of Possibly engaging in other activities within your platform as a community member to secure a $NEON token for myself?
Thank you so much.
I went through your website and I wasn’t able to See any detailed documents about your Token Distribution, although I read on the site that Builders would be able to get paid In $NEON which is expected to be the Native token of the ecosystem. In this Context, I would like it if you were able to at least give us a breakdown on how your tokenomics distribution would be carried out. Giving the large number of tasks available. Can you explain to us about how the distribution of rewards is going to be handled? Is there any possibilities that there would be any allocations for your community members as well?. Thank you so much
About your Ongoing Zealy Quest.!
I went through your Twitter Handle, and I noticed that you have an ongoing Quest via Zela, which you expect users to complete some tasks in other for them to get reward. I have participated in many Zealy Quests and I haven’t been able to get any reward despite the promises from the project. Therefore in your own project case, I would like to get an In-depth understanding about this quests and also the specific rewards that is going to be distributed among participants. Thank you so much.

Can you explain how this passive mechanism works, and what the benefits are for users? How is the community incentivized to participate in passive governance, and what are the risks involved??
I was reading about the governance of the Neon protocol and I came across this aspect, that In order to propose a change to the Neon Protocol, a community member must stake a certain amount of NEON tokens, which is called a “proposal fee.” The proposal fee is then used to cover the costs of running the governance process. Can you explain in more detail how this process works, including the steps involved and the role of the proposal fee? How does this process differ from other on-chain governance systems?
I read about the dispute resolution model of your protocol. In some cases, there may be a disagreement between community members about a proposal or the outcome of a vote. The dispute resolution mechanism is designed to help resolve these disagreements in a fair and transparent way. Can you explain how this mechanism works, and what steps are taken to resolve a dispute? What happens if the parties involved are unable to reach an agreement? How is the dispute resolution mechanism different from other governance models?
