  1. Hello,
I just want to ask a very simple and direct question. After collecting loan from zestprotol will i still receive the reward been provided by zestprotocol to its beneficiaries?

  2. Hello zest protocol
A zesty welcome to you to satoshi club
I noticed that your protocol is primarily about lending.
Now I believe that a platform like yours should be able to be very secure cause a lot of different transactions will be done there. So I want to know more about your security. I saw you’ve had your first audit earlier this year in August. Can you tell us more about this audit? Who are the auditors and what was the outcome of the audit? Can you share the details with us? I also see that by next week being 1st November you will have your second audit? Who will these auditors be? Will the iterations be different from the first?
Still about security, what mechanism do you have against hackers? Given that we’ve seen a lot of hacks recently?
    Thank you

  3. Hello zest protocol!!!
    Welcome to satoshi club
About your lending protocol which is the major attribute of your protocol. I saw from your website that borrowers must be approved by a Pool Delegate to borrow BTC from that pool delegate’s liquidity pool. Firstly, who are eligible to borrow from zest? What the requirements to borrow from zest? I saw that to borrow, staking is involved. How do stake on zest? What are the tokens/coins that can be staked? Must it be BTC? What is the minimum value of token that must be staked? What is the maximum time frame for borrowing from zest?
I saw that at time of writing borrowers pay about 4-6% for borrowing BTC undercollateralised on CeFi venues, can you explain this please?

  4. Good day zest protocol !!!
I saw on your website that I can put my BTC to work and receive periodic rewards payment in BTC based on the rates paid directly by most credit worthy borrowers in the industry. And also that I could be expecting 4-6% APY in BTC. I am confused. Is the rate determined by the borrower or the lender? And the issue of APY, is it time cognizant or value cognizant? Is it susceptible to change or will it be fixed? And if it is fixed then why was it mentioned that the rewards is gotten based on rates paid by the borrower?
    Thank you

  5. Hello zest protocol !!!
I can see according to your website that you lend, so do you receive your payment with interested??? It there a stipulated time for paying back to you?? What will happen if payment are not done on time???

  6. Dear Zest Team!

I noticed that there are three ways to participate in Zest Protocol, providing BTC liquidity, becoming a pool delegate, and leveraging reputation and profitability to borrow BTC. When examining these activities, I feel they are available on other platforms too. Does Zest offer something new within the common framework? For example, does launching a pool on Zest differ from creating a pool on a similar platform? Can you briefly elaborate on Pros and Cons of each option? Are there separate prerequisites to participate in these activities? Can a single user earn on Zest Protocol using all three opportunities? If yes, should he create three separate wallets or are these activities inter-connected? In addition to above options, do you have any plans to introduce new opportunities in the near future?

    Thank you.

  7. Greetings Zest Protocol’s Team!

Being the first on-chain Bitcoin capital market is for sure a very great innovation in this wide DeFi space and as such I really commend the project’s. From my research, I observed that Zest Protocol’s focus is mainly on Bitcoin (BTC). In this regard, I would like to know why the platform has chosen to focus on the Bitcoin market; frankly speaking, the Bitcoin market currently lacks an on-chain borrowing mechanism and as such, it is hard for a Bitcoin denominated business to grow. In a nutshell, explain how Zest Protocol aims to address this problem. How will you create a credible solution to the problem faced by the on-chain Bitcoin market? What benefits are general platform users opened to?

  8. Dear Zest Team!

According to your most recent Tweet, you are giving away a total of $1,000 in $BTC and $STX to 50 winners to celebrate the Testnet Launch. Thank you for this amazing opportunity. However, why do you distribute rewards in $BTC and how do you get those funds? Does Zest have any income sources that generate profits with $BTC? Generally, project teams allocate their own platform tokens or create separate reward tokens to distribute rewards. As a project, what are the benefits you get by distributing rewards with $BTC? When calculating rewards for 50 winners, do you offer 50% with $BTC and 50% with $STX? Or else, can winners request the rewards with $BTC or $STX? Are there any vesting schedules for both $BTC and $STX rewards? If yes, are winners allowed to convert $BTC to $STX or vice versa before the vesting period ends?

    Thank you.

  9. Greetings Zest Protocol’s Team!

Being the first on-chain Bitcoin capital market is for sure a very great innovation and as such I really commend the project’s team. On your Twitter page, I had seen an announcement that Zest Protocol’s Testnet was opened 20th October. In this regard, give details on the requirements needed to participate in the Testnet(is the Testnet opened to everyone?). Is this Testnet incentivized? How long will the testing period last before mainnet goes live? Give us a sneak peek of development that we should expect to see on the platform before year 2022 runs out.

  10. The crypto world is changing and developing day by day. As new ideas and strategies continue to come in the world of DeFi, would you say that the zest protocol team has the technological structure to keep up with these developments? Are there any developments that you want to add to zest protocol in the nearest future.

    • Taking an In-depth look at the Users in Zeta Protocol, you have 4 (four) major kinds of users, which are (Liquidity Providers), (Borrowers), (Pool Delegates) and (Pool cover providers). I was able to understand the roles of BORROWERS & LIQUIDITY PROVIDERS, but however, i was kind of confused and wasn’t clear about the roles and functions of the “Pool Delegators” and the “Pool Cover Providers”, could you kindly elaborate more on these Features? What sort of functions do they play in your platform? How do they add value to the Protocol? How would a user benefit from becoming a Pool Cover Provider and a Pool Delegator in your platform?

  11. Crypto Market nowadays Are Flooded With a lot of P2E games and NFT, and that makes it very hard to beat these competitions. So, can you please tell us how zest protocol is unique from Others , What features do you’ve that other p2e and NFT Projects are lacking ?

  12. Hello ZEST PROTOCOL team, congratulations on the launch of your test net, yours is an interesting project so i decided to give your testnet a try but i seem to have encountered an issue trying to use this with my metamask wallet since it seems it can only be used with either Electrum or Hiro wallets, why did you choose these wallets instead of the more popular Metamask? Also will the Mainet also be restricted to specific wallets or will it be possible to carry out transactions with different wallets? Thanks!

  13. Greetings Zest Protocol’s Team!

In the current DeFi space, to lend BTC, you have to trust a third party with handling your BTC funds (custody risk) and lack visibility into who your BTC is being lent out to (counterparty risk). As a result, most Bitcoin sits idle in cold storage and isn’t used to grow the Bitcoin economy. Now, seeing that Nest Protocol is aimed at improving the Bitcoin economy, explain in a nutshell how the platform will create a credible solution to the problems faced by the Bitcoin economy. How will Zest Finance eliminate counterparty risk and significantly reduce custodial risks so as to pose maximum benefits to general platform users? What distinguishes the platform from other related platforms in the DeFi space?

  14. Dear Zest Team!

Congratulations on the launch of your Testnet! According to the history of Zest, the project has been initiated in March, 2022. Why did it take several months to launch the Testnet? As you have not published a roadmap, please briefly elaborate which type of tasks have been performed during past months. It will assure that your team is working effectively and immensely. I read users can perform plenty of tasks on Testnet such as adding BTC to a Bitcoin pool, withdrawing BTC, adding xBTC fund to pool cover, and viewing transaction history. What about the Mainnet launch? In addition to above tasks, which type of activities will be available on the Mainnet? How does it differ from the Testnet? Have you already fixed a time for the Mainnet launch?

    Thank you.

  15. In what way is zest protocol affiliate with Bitcoin, And on your website I can see Zest offers on-chain Bitcoin loans directly against their balance sheet, can you please explain to us what this statement is all about is it that you zest protocol has a commission fee that will be given to them by Bitcoin?

  16. After using your testnet, i noticed that one can’t use xBTC when providing liquidity, have there been any explorations about additionally allowing users to use xBTC when Providing Liquidity alongside native BTC? Clearly the focus is native, but the flexibility to add both as liquidity options would unlock access for more users within the Stacks ecosystem, will this feature be possible? if so will the project developers consider adding it? Thanks!

  17. Gooday,

I saw that the Zest Protocol’s users is divided into four(4) groups which are; Liquidity Providers, Pool Delegates, Borrowers and Pool Cover Providers. Kindly give details as regarding the functions and benefits attached to each group of users mentioned above. What is the difference between the Liquidity Providers and Pool Cover Providers? What is the requirements to be a Pool Delegate? Now to get started on Zest Protocol, what KYC process will I go through? Is it possible to run multiple accounts?

  18. It was stated that to lend BTC, you have to trust a third party with handling your BTC funds (custody risk) and lack visibility into who your BTC is being lent out to (counterparty risk). And you made mention via your docs that The solution is an on-chain Bitcoin capital market that runs on smart contracts that are secured by the Bitcoin blockchain itself, which Zest is going to Provide to its users, however i am quite curious to know about the level of security in Zest protocol, giving that there are a lot of Bad actors out there that could manipulate smart Contracts to their advantage and carter away with users funds, i would like to know how prepared you are in making sure that your smart Contract remains intact, How far have you gone in completing your Audits?

  19. Knowing that your Protocol is still in its testing Phase, and you made an Announcement about your Testnet being active, I am curious to know if the Testnet is going to be available for everyone to try it out? How long would the Testing phase of your protocol last for? Would there be any insentives/rewards reserved for testers of your network? And should Incase we wanna also partake in the Testing of your Network, as Beginners, is there a guide available for us to relate with for proper testing? And do you receive feedback from testers? When exactly do you have plans to migrate from the testing phase to the Mainnet? Please Explain. Thanks.

  20. Hello Zest Protocol team

I noticed from your site that Zest Protocol is an Undercollateralised Bitcoin lending protocol for institutional borrowers and it’s very interesting to know about. Since this is my first time hearing about undercollateralised lending protocol, So May I know what are the benefits of Undercollateralized loans ? Does Zest protocol only allow institutions to lend and borrow on your platform ? What are the requirements if any institution wants to borrow from Zest Protocol ? I also noticed that all users can become liquidity providers by providing BTC to the liquidity pool. Let’s say if we want to become a Liquidity Provider, then what is the minimum BTC we can provide to the liquidity pool ? What are the conditions if the Liquidity Provider suddenly decides to withdraw LP from the Liquidity Pool ? Lastly, I looked in your docs about Pool Cover Providers and it was quite interesting. So, Can you elaborate to us about the “First Loss Capital for a specific pool” in pool cover providers ? Is it possible for a user to become a Liquidity provider and Pool Cover Provider at the same time ? Thank you

  21. Gooday,

Paying attention to Zest Protocol’s Pool Delegates, it was mentioned that they manage Bitcoin lending pools on Zest. How does the platform help pool delegates to attract global Bitcoin capital and provide funding to a network of vetted borrowers, increasing their potential AUM (Assets Under Management) while earning performance fees? Are the pool delegates also in the position to liquidate collateral in the event of default? How are the Pool Delegates appointed? Lastly, in case of abuse, is it possible for Zest DAO contract to freeze the pool and recall loans?

  22. Goodday,

Let’s talk about Pool Cover Providers. It was stated that Zest Protocol creates economic security for LPs through a pool cover and assets in pool cover serve as first-loss capital in case of a default in the pool. My Question; will the Pool Cover Providers share in the Bitcoin yield accrued to the lending pool? In the event of liquidation and collateral shortfall, what happens to the assets provided as pool cover? what type of asset is used as Pool Cover? Enlighten us on the risks that that Liquidity Providers and Pool Cover Providers are exposed to; how can these risks be mimimized?

  23. I saw in your docs that the current minimum lock-up period for a pool cover is set to 14 days but can be changed by delegates. So, my question is in what way and condition can delegates change or add other lock-up period options for their pools ? If the pool cover provider decides to lock funds for a longer period of time, Is it possible to get more than 6% APY from the liquidity pool ? Lastly, I have noticed from your docs that Pool Delegate is onboarded by the DAO. Could you please tell us about the DAO feature in Zest Protocol ? What are the requirements if I want to participate the vote in Zest Protocol ?

  24. Hello @zest protocol, nice having you here. My question is about your testnet which an announcement was made on your discord that is now live. Well I will like to know more about your testnets can you please give more details on it. What are the requirements to participate? what are those killer features which you have unlocked that requires testing and what will be the benefits or rewards for testing them. And I also saw that it requires a testnet funds for users interested on your testnets and details of that was not given. So can you please tell us what is the required funds given to participate on your testnet, Do you already have individuals running your test? And furemore, since you are mostly concerned about bitcoin, are we using some amounts of btc as funds for your testnets or we are to use your tokens for funding. Thank you

  25. Hello zest protocol I have been looking for a way to know more about this project and seems luck on my side you came here for ama. Well I saw that you gave 3 different types of lending pools which are the BROWSE LENDING POOLS, GOLDMAN STACKS, and also the JP MERGE.well can you please tell us about this different pools how are this pools different from one another, what are those activities being carried out on this pools? And how can we benefit from them. I also discovered that each pool has its features which are the current loans, total cash, and also current APY so can you please tell us since all pools have same features, what will be the APY for each since it was not stated.

  26. Hello zest,
Actually lending money now is really a big deal but kudos! to you all that have find a way to help crypto interested individuals. But knowing how people don’t like to repay loans even after placing valuable things as collateral how do you go about that. And please is the collateral a digital Material or a physical asset?
    Thank you.

  27. Hello zest.
I want to take a loan from your company but i am scared i would not be able to pay in time. Will there be a querry to those that have not been able to pay on time? and also How secured is your Platform?

  28. I am so excited to know Zest Protocol build on Bitcoin blockchain and allow to earning a yield with our bitcoin, but on your twitter also mention about bitcoin loans for other feature from Zest Protocol, is this mean user possible to borrow bitcoin? Can you please introduce the detail about this feature, what are the requirement for a user to lend the bitcoin, how about the fee% that user must paid back if they use Zest protocol lend service? Also do you need collateral from customer to secure your loan and do your loan service can be use for all countries?

  29. Its rarely to know a project using Bitcoin Blockchain since mostly using ETH, BSC, polygon etc. Since we will invest using our asset in your yield to get reward Bitcoin, i need to know more about the safety and security from Zest Protocol. How do you ensure that there is no harm will happen with our asset? I also would like to know about the result from audit smart contract, since Zest Protocol is new project but i can’t found about audit result, so can you please provide more data about the safety, security and audit from Zest Protocol?

  30. Testnet from Zest Protocol already active since 20 October, actually i am new use found difficult to add funds on your testnet since its need Electrum and Hiro address, can you please explain to us what are “Electrum” And “Hiro” meaning inside Zest Protocol, do they part of your product or feature? Also do you have a tutorial video information about Zest Protocol? If the testnet already finished, when do you have plan to launch the main-net?

  31. Hello Zest Protocol- i learnt your TESTNET is now officially fully activated. Could you please tell us where and how your TESTNET could be downloaded from; and with regards to adding TESTNET FUNDS, could you please elaborate on the frat and how TESTNET FUNDS adding could be successfully done? Lastly, i found out on the ZEST protocol platform that there is the requirement to CONNECT STACKS WALLET, could you please explain to us what and the use case of STACKS WALLET and where can we download this STACKs WALLET and what are the requirements for downloading the STACKS WALLET and what kind of wallet or features has STACKs WALLET ? THANKS

    • Zest Protocol generates a unique Bitcoin HTLC deposit address for the LP from Magic Protocol. This HTLC in essence a Bitcoin smart contract between the LP & Magic protocol, where the LP controls the secret which can unlock the BTC funds to one of the parties.can you explain the relationship between magic protocol and zest protocol?Magic Protocol has a limited window to send BTC to the borrower’s specified BTC address. Can you elaborate on its limit? Thanks

  32. THANKS

  33. Hello, the Zest Protocol team.
Judging by the description of your project, I understand that by taking a certain amount of BTC before the bear market, I will actually open a margin short position. You also state that the protocol is configured for insufficient provision. What is the minimum collateral I need to have in my account to borrow 1 BTC?

  34. Hello, the Zest Protocol team.
Judging by the description of your project, I understand that the decision to grant a loan is made jointly by the liquidity providers. Please tell us how the voting process is organized directly. Do you have an anti-whale system? Is a 51 attack possible when making a decision?

  35. Hello, the Zest Protocol team.
A few days ago, you officially launched test no. The entire crypto community knows that protocols often reward early users for testnets as well. Tell us a secret, do you plan to reward testers? Maybe you have a bounty for bugs found?

  36. To hold BTC in escrow in Zest liquidity pools, you leverage the Stacks layer’s unique architecture that enables trustless atomic swaps between BTC and xBTC.And it is said that the trustless BTC-xBTC atomic swaps in the background are provided by an open-source application called “Magic Protocol”.Can you tell more about this Magic Protocol? Was this created by your teams or you introduced it from another platform? And is this Magic Protocol meant for the trustless atomic swaps between BTC and xBTC only or it will also support some features running in your platform? Please explain Thanks

  37. Although your platform is currently under development, as i was made to understand that Zest Protocol is currently in the testing phase. However, for a new platform like this, it is very important to put into consideration the aspect of a healthy and functional community, not just members. You need a stable community to be able to unlock the full potentials of your platform. Nevertheless, Can you give us a clear view on how you plan to Incorporate and educate new users to your platform? What sorts of marketing campaigns or programs have you adopted to make sure that you educate the and draw in new users to your platform?

  38. It is said that the Zest DAO appoints Pool Delegates and this Pool delegate is responsible for negotiating loan terms with borrowers, performing diligence etc So even if the Zest DAO appoints this delegates, will those who want to become a Pool Delegate KYC before becoming one?And is the members of Zest DAO from your team or from the community? How many Pool Delegates and Zest DAO members do you currently have or may possibly need? And what are the requirements in being a Zest DAO member? And if it happens that both a Pool Delegate and Zest DAO member acts an abusive/dishonest way,are there some punishment given? Please explain Thanks

  39. When providing liquidity, many participants only look at the APY and APR figures to decide whether or not to include it as an input, but what form would you take if you were to make sure that the company is seen as an attractive investment over the long term?

  40. What is your biggest obstacle? Many projects look great only on their Whitepaper & Roadmap but face many difficulties when trying to implement the project mission and end in failure. How does #Zest_Protocol overcome every obstacle in its project development?

    • Due to planned Roadmap and schedules, for how long will your testnet last, will their be any medium for suggestions even while the testnet is ongoing and where do we contact for such suggestions?

  41. From the first line of the Bitcoin Whitepaper
“Bitcoin, a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.”
However Zest Protocol having decided to use BTC only allows for financial institutions to borrow from liquidity pools and offers undercollateralized Bitcoin loans for institutional borrowers. What do you mean by undercollaterized loans, and why are institutions the only ones who can use them? Are you solely a B2B project?
How can individuals make use of Zest Protocol’s lending features?
What made you decide to use only Bitcoin? Will Zest Protocol ever have new assets to be managed in lending pools, such as ETH, BNB, ADA?

  42. Zest Protocol is quite a complicated capital markets protocol that has liquidity providers, borrowers, pool delegates, pool cover providers & stakeholders involved in the ecosystem.
Can you elaborate on their different roles within the project?
What are the requirements to become a pool delegate within your ecosystem?
As regards to the zesty orange bitcoin liquidity engine ecosystem, can you explain what the Zest orange bitcoin liquidity engine is? What are the problems that zesty orange bitcoin liquidity engine will solve?

  43. The Zest Protocol testnet was just launched few days ago.
Is it possible for us to take part? If yes, how can I participate in the Testnet? Are there any testnet videos for users who wish to participate in the Zest Protocol testnet? Can you go over the criteria for joining the testnet in more detail with us? How long will the testing period last before mainnet goes live? Could you kindly share with the community the procedures to get started on this testnet?
A bit of a silly one too, why the orange emoji on the project? Does it have any significance on the project?

  44. We all know about the Celsius and Blockfi blowups, so how does Zest Protocol maintain full compliance with financial regulations? Do you currently have any approved licenses for regulatory bodies? What is the security system at Zest Protocol like? Have you been properly audited by renowned security companies like Certik?
Investors need sustainable long-term returns in addition to high returns, How can we be certain that Zest Protocol will sustain and generate steady income over the long term?
In addition to being an investor who anticipates a return on investment will ZEST token owners be able to vote on the delegation of onboarding pools and general protocol modifications?
How will you guide both novice and seasoned traders through this process?

  45. Stacks_btc being an extension wallet which has limitations to only PC users, Why did you choose to partner with Stacks_btc any special reason behind that? And any plan of going multi chains especially EVMs?

  46. Hello, Greetings☺ Zest Protocol Testnet

From the article on your website i understood that to lend BTC, you have to trust a third party with handling investor’s BTC funds…My question is if the article on website is true why then do the community still need an ON-CHAIN Bitcoin Lending Protocol.???

    Thank You💙

  47. Hello Zest team,

I noted that the Zest testnet started on the 20th October 2022, users can start testing for earning a yield on their Bitcoin with Zest. I also understand that you advice users to use the Electrum for the testnet. I have participated in a lot of testnets and I am very happy that you have come this far. I would love to know, how can I participate in the Zest testnet? Is the testnet available to all part of the world and to everyone? Do you plan to host another version of testnet in the future? How long will this phase of testnet last? Are there incentives/rewards set aside for the testnet participants? And lastly, is the testnet free or it requires some amount of funds to participate? Tell us what you intend doing with the generated tokens for the testnet. Thank you.

  48. In your Twitter page you noted that your testnet went live 4 days ago… how is one required to take part in the process.? What is the eligibility status and what are the setup guides required to participate in the program?
Are there expected rewards for completing the process?
Give us an insight of what the lending pools are and what the Goldman Stacks and JP merge represent. Is there a need to connect a wallet for this process?

  49. Greetings Zest☺

I also read from your website article that “Zest Protocol eliminates counter party risk by executing loans transparently on-chain”
Please could you explain the meaning of that in a more clearer details.??

    Thank You🙏☺

  50. Greetings team Zest,

Focusing our attention on security and borrowing, I understand that Once whitelisted, borrowers can request a loan from a pool delegate. When a delegate approves, borrowers will be able to withdraw the funds for a fixed term, at a fixed rate, and at a fixed collateralization level. Can you highlight the requirements for a borrower to get whitelisted? What kind of document does one need to be whitelisted? How secure is a lender’s funds in the hands of the borrower? What security protocols do you have in place that will make sure the borrower pays back? Is there a fee attached to paying borrowed funds late?

  51. Greetings zest protocol team,
Going through your project I learned that Zest protocol is said to run on smart contracts that are bitcoin blockchain . Can you explain how effective your blockchain technology is especially when compared such as Hyper ledger, multi chain interpose and the others with other protocols? Can you briefly explain how to add BTC to the pool? What is the use it the magic protocol on your platform? Can your platform serve as a base for external chains to make transaction within it? What likely threat to your blockchain technology? What problems is Zest protocol aimed at solving ? Thanks

  52. Hi Zest protocol
First of all i want to give you a big thumps with for making sure you improve the marketing of bitcoin.
When your website you put mainnet launch will be in 4th quarter of 2022
We re kinda in 4th quarter of 2022 but you didn’t make specific time for it
Can we know the specific date the mainnet will launch?
At launch how much did you expect your token to be ?regarding tokenomics how much will be the total supply ?

  53. Some investors could have a need for taking loan and may not have the knowledge of what it entails to borrow a loan through a Blockchain technology. My question is what are your plans of integrating non – crypto community to your platform? Is Zest protocol a global project or local project? ? What are your plans of also integrating non-English speaking community? At present, are you focused on gaining customers, users and partners or improving on your blockchain technology?

  54. I’ve read that Zest smart contracts are clarity contracts on Stacks and that Zest Protocol uses it.
What exactly is the Stacks technology and how do the Zest clarity contracts work?
What is the degree of transparency?
What advantages does this technology provide to the Zest Protocol, and why did you choose it?
Additionally, I read in the article that “Trust Machines” were used to develop the Zest Protocol. So, could you describe Trust Machines? What benefits and drawbacks have you noticed when using Trust machines?

  55. I read that Zest will introduce sustainable Bitcoin yield for liquidity providers exploring its lending pools.
how we can become a Liquidity providers on your protocol? What are the benefits? How will you hedge against inflation and monopoly?
Regarding the concept of on-chain Bitcoin loans that Zest Protocol offers which I believe is unique, why do we need an onchain Bitcoin lending protocol?
How did you intend to verify the borrower details to prevent shady dealings on that end? Are there standard criteria set for taking loans? What collaterals are involved ? How long can a loan last for? What happens if a borrower defaults?
Where do the funds that are being borrowed come from?
Finally, I couldn’t find any details about partnerships or collaborations from your docs, do you have any partners? If yes, what benefits do they provide to the protocol

  56. Greetings zest protocol team
    My question
I am a crypto investor, I like investing in a profitable and secure projects, so what is that one aspect in zest protocol that makes the project stand out the best among the rest and how secure is the project to prevent scammers from infiltrating the protocol and if the case happens is zest protocol in a position to refund the investors the lost investment
Thanks and hoping to here from you

  57. Greetings zest protocol team and welcome to satoshi club
    My question
According to your website I read that one of the risk your project encounter is Custody and counterparty risk clog the Bitcoin economy and users had no way to find out how exposed their crypto lending platform was to the cascading defaults that ensued because of the opaque nature of crypto lending and that Users also became increasingly concerned over custody risk of any centralised entity in crypto, this can be a great risk in any project and can end up losing investors, so what are the solution to solve this kind of risk to ensure the safety of investors
    Thank you
    Thank tou ☀️

  58. Hello Zest!

According to your descriptions about user categories on zest, institutions looking for Bitcoin capital to grow their business such as market makers, exchanges, centralised lenders, miners and businesses that accept BTC payments can join with Zest as borrowers. Don’t you allow single users to join as borrowers? Even individual users can prove a good credit history, can’t they borrow BTC on Zest? You have said that borrowers must be approved by a Pool Delegate to borrow BTC from that pool delegate’s liquidity pool. Please briefly explain about this process. What kind of aspects are taken into consideration? Can’t borrowers re-apply to borrow from another pool if they are rejected?

  59. Hello Zest!

I understand that Zest Protocol eliminates counterparty risk by executing loans transparently on-chain. Accordingly, borrowers are publicly visible, as well as all loan details and whether the borrower is meeting its obligations. What about revealing personal details to third parties? When borrowers are publicly visible, other parties cancel easily get their details and use them or sell them to others. Therefore, please explain how do you protect the privacy and confidential information of borrowers. How do you assure that their details will only be used to eliminate counterparty risk?

  60. Hello Zest!

You have mentioned about four risks attached to Zest Protocol, credit risk, smart contract risk, limited custody risk from Anchorage, and Bitcoin blockchain 51% attack. It is true that some of these risks are associated with other platforms too and any platform is not 100% safe. However, I wish to know what Zest has done to minimize these risks from project’s side. Further, what can users do to ameliorate risks? If someone is reluctant to join Zest due to aforesaid risks, what is your advice? Compared to the benefits, is it worth to take the risks? Please explain.

  61. The Bitcoin economy currently lacks a blockchain lending mechanism. This hinders the growth of Bitcoin-denominated businesses. My question is, what have been the innovative solutions that the Zest Protocol team has introduced to the Bitcoin ecosystem to improve the user experience in the blockchain lending mechanism and order to make it accessible to all users without bureaucratic difficulties or technical barriers related to the Bitcoin network?

  62. I read that Zest Protocol smart contracts are currently under audit. My question is, by when is it estimated to start the process of building their core network? Considering that security is one of the fundamental pillars in the development of a platform directly related to the Bitcoin network, which platform is in charge of these audits and what results do your team expect to obtain at the end of this process?

  63. I read that Zest Protocol borrowers are subject to a rigorous credit assessment by a delegate of the group. Regarding this topic, can you tell us more about how this evaluation mechanism works that your system has implemented to maintain the transparency of the lending process on the Bitcoin blockchain? How does this system differ from others currently implemented to ensure the security and reliability of the lending system created by Zest Protocol?

  64. What are the advantages of unsecured lending? I read that Zest Protocol is an unsecured Bitcoin lending protocol for institutional borrowers. Does the Zest Protocol platform simply allow institutions to lend and borrow? What are the prerequisites for any institution wishing to borrow from Zest Protocol?

  65. What is the Magic Protocol, what are its use cases, is it intended only for untrusted atomic exchanges between BTC and xBTC or for certain functionalities running in your ecosystem?

    • I noticed that you’re giving away $1,000 in $BTC and $STX to 50 lucky winners to commemorate the launch of the Testnet! So, why are you giving out $BTC prizes, and how do you receive those funds? Is there any revenue source at Zest that generates revenues in Bitcoin?

  66. Zest Protocol offers undercollateralised Bitcoin loans for institutional borrowers. What is the difference among undercollateralised and no collateralized? What would be the use of the platform for personal users?

  67. Zest Protocol is the first on-chain Bitcoin capital market. Zest’s smart contracts enable Bitcoin liquidity providers to give their Bitcoin and earn, what would be the benefits for lenders and borrowers?

  68. You aim to bring the DeFi to Bitcoin Which is involved in BTC lending & Borrowing as undercollateralized loans. But, we all know that BTC is a highest volatile asset in crypto history. So, How will you manage to solve that issue? And, DeFi means not only lending & borrowing but also Staking, Farming, Liquidity Providing etc.. So, Does Zest Protocol integrate with Staking & Liquidity pools with BTC? Please explain us In what way is DeFi sector of Zest Protocol unique from others?

  69. In August month, Zest Protocol smart contract has audited with CoinsFabrick platform & another audit will be carried out on November month. Can you please tell us about the audit that you have done with CoinsFabrick firm? Were there any loops & bugs founded? If you don’t mind, Please share the audit report with us? However, It’s good that you will conduct another audit in next month. So, Can you give a sneak peek about your upcoming audit? Which Audit firm will you hire for that?

  70. Concerning those burrowing from ZEST ,borrowers must be approved by a Pool Delegate to borrow BTC from that pool delegate’s liquidity pool. What method of scrutiny do pool delegate use to approve the borrower does it expose the sensitive information of the user ? Today many platform use KYC verification on their users. Are you using the KYC verification process on your user ? Can you assure us your project is not a Rugpull waiting to happen? Is your platform audited with renowned company? Please answer my question. Thanks

  71. How can a beginner be a Liquidity provider in your platform?? Can you explain us the Zest Protocol earning btc ways? Further, why have you choosen btc and what are the procedures of taking loan and interest rates?

  72. Hello zest protocol
I saw from a latest tweet that you’re going to do a giveaway of $1000 $BTC & $STX to 50 lucky winners to celebrate the testnet launch. Can you share more details about the giveaway. What are the requirements to get the giveaway? Must one be registered on the zest protocol website?
And since the rewards will be distributed using both $BTC AND $STX, how will it be? Will a user get both $BTC AND $STX token or one will get one and someone else another?
    When is the giveaway ending?

  73. Hello Zest Protocol Team!

Frankly speaking, a whole lot of DeFi based projects looks good on the documents and whitepaper. However, implementing the stated features in reality is a major problem faced by most projects. Convince us that this isn’t the case for Zest Protocol; how does the platform aim to continually remain credible in the DeFi space and not just be a short hyped project that losses credibility as time passes by. Explain to us your user attraction and retention strategies; what do you have in place to introduce non crypto users to the Zest’s platform? How about Zest’s globalization plans(what region on the world can make use of the platform)?

  74. Hello Zest Protocol Team!

I clearly noted that Zest Protocol is programmed with Stacks – a Bitcoin programming layer that enables smart contracts and decentralized applications on Bitcoin. Why decide to work with Stacks? Is the Stacks and Bitcoin blocks synchronized? What consensus mechanism does Stacks use and how is it able to read bitcoin-state directly from the Bitcoin chain? In addition to this, explain in a nutshell how Zest will bring full DeFi into the Bitcoin chain as compared to the likes of the Etheruem and Solana chains which are obviously more decentralized.
    Thanks

  75. Hello Zest Protocol Team!

    The main purpose of Bitcoin is decentralization however, Right now, there are two options in Bitcoin capital markets;
    -Centralized custodial Bitcoin lending platforms.
-Wrapped Bitcoin lending products that are not ultimately secured by the Bitcoin blockchain.
These means of lending have inherent flaws that are in direct contradiction to Bitcoin’s purpose of security, transparency, and decentralization. From my research, Zest aims to create a solution to the Bitcoin market’s problems. Explain in brief how Zest will bring back maximum possible security, transparency and decentralization to the Bitcoin market. What does Zest present to the DeFi table?

  76. Hello zest protocol team
We have seen a lot of projects come to the DeFi system promising a lot and not being able to do good to their promises. I understand that your platform is a unique lending protocol solely based on BTC, so what measures have you taken to prove that your platform is better than other DeFi lending protocols? What problem have you identified that is prominent in other lending protocols that your platform offers solutions to?
You’re a new platform, how do you plan to get a lot of users to your platform and how will you retain them?
Taking about users, what regions in the world are eligible to make use of your platform?
And finally, your platform is BTC focused, will it always remain this way or do you have plans to diversify it and implement other tokens so as to get more users?
    Thank you

  77. Greetings zest protocol
I read on your website that for a borrower to be eligible to borrow, that person must be approved by a Pool’s Delegate to borrow BTC from that pool’s delegates liquidity pool. What are the criteria considered by the Liquidity pool delegates for one to be approved? How can I become a liquidity pool delegate or have my own liquidity pool?
There’s also the issue of KYC, do I need to do KYC to be approved? If yes what are needed for the KYC?
And how long will it process the KYC?
    Thank you

  78. How do you guys get people to provide liquidity and feel safe offering Bitcoin liquidity on Zest Protocol? Are there any funds that guarantee users’ assets when providing liquidity on Zest Protocol?

  79. Greetings Zest Protocol team from How secure is your smart contract and what does it allow liquidity providers to do? Aren’t you just another ponzi system that seeks to create capital and then disappear? What ensures that the funds of the investors in your project will be safe in the short and long term? you can provide the exact address of your smart contract to be sure when it comes to putting liquidity in your project and not falling for scams, thanks

  80. Greetings Zest Protocol team, my question is: How do you maintain your project? you say periodic reward payments in BTC, with 4-6% APY in BTC, but when I go to use the tab on your website to learn more about this feature I come across an article by satoshi nakamoto can you explain how the mechanism works for provide liquidity to your project?

  81. Providing liquidity is something that should generate a lot of trust, how do you manage to attract investors and build trust? to be a safe and reliable project? Since what year has this project been working on and why did you decide on BTC as the main currency, knowing its instability in the market this year? What goals do you plan to achieve at the end of this year and what is your marketing plan, to attract the attention of investors, are there events for the user community to publicize your project and the native Zest Protocol token and earn some extra tokens? can you explain please.

  82. Greetings zestprotocol
What you are doing is a great innovation especially to business owners in this economy.
    My question is :
How long does it take for a loan request to be approved

  83. Greetings zestprotocol

The world of crypto is developing rapidly and new and amazing things are happening in the world of crypto .
    My question is :
Is there any new feature coming up that will keep the zestprotocol alive and on top in the world of defi ?
    Thank you .

  84. I learned that you are on a mission to expand the Bitcoin capital markets. My question is, how do you intend accomplishing this mission? Do you have enough funds and is your community strong enough to help you accomplish it? What competitive advantage will your project have? What strengths do your project have to draw investors to itself? Can you share the highlights of your project? What is the role of your project in the ecosystem?

  85. Greetings zest protocol and welcome to satoshi club
    My question
I love your project about building the bitcoin economy, and your lending and borrowing project but my concern is considering the volatility in çrypto how do you calculate interest of an individual after borrowing on your Protocol? How much is the maximum someone can borrow, which token do you take as collateral ànd what security does zest protocol put in place in place incase someone refuses to pay the loan? Is there penalty or something lastly how long is the duration someone can pAy the loan
Thank you zest protocol team, hoping to here from you

  86. I found interesting that with Zest Protocol,we can earn a yield with our Bitcoin but as we know tht market is so volatility and unpredictable so how can you assure that yield is still possible even if in Bear market? Does yield earning depends on the Bitcoin value in the market? For instance,if Bitcoin is increasing does it mean our yield is also increasing? What if Bitcoin is decreasing, does the value of our yield in Zest Protocol will decrease also? Thank you

  87. One of the Zest Protocol’s main goal is to solve the custody risk.
How are Pool Delegates different from a centralized exchange in that regards?
Aren’t they still a human variable in charge of people’s funds?
