  1. The BTC DOMAIN name system is a distributed database that maps BTC addresses to human-readable domain names. The BTC DOMAIN name system is similar to the DNS, but it uses a different set of rules and protocols.

    • I understand that BTCDomain’s data storage and resolution are based on bitcoin mainnet also we can build our own bitcoin native website, but do you have an example and DEMO of your service? Also can you pls explain what kind of feature that exist inside btcdomain platform?

  3. Hello BTC DOMAIN… It’s great to have you here in our telegram group. Reading through your white paper I saw that BTC Domain is a platform that strives to offer a seamless and user-friendly name service to the Bitcoin community similar to the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) by offering a wide range of name-related services, including name registration, name resolution, and other related services. So I want to ask what are the steps to get a name on the platform? What are the requirements to get a dormain name service? Is it free or do users need to pay certain amount to get the name service? Will the name service be only operational on the BTC dormain or it can be used in other transactions outside the BTC DORMAIN platform?

  4. Hi BTCDomain!
As we are aware that BTCdomain is connected to blockchain technology, does that mean Defi development features like stake token, farm, NFT etc will also be part of the existing features either now or nearest future?
And as this version is concerned, will it later have an updated one and what’s the span range at which new version will be created or introduced? Pls elaborate it for us for better understanding.

Lastly, we are know that any project being created has the best side and also it’s little weak Part. What are some little hindrance we may likely face in the Btcdomain and how can we overcome them if such occurs?

    Thanks

  5. Greetings BTC Dormain.
I understand that your platform allows users to get their address named and also can be used by organisations to receive donations as well. Now I am curious, from other payment methods, we’ve seen that alot of scammers can easily make a forged domain name that have a very minor difference like using URL Cyrillic characters that can be easily overlooked by the average user like “citibаnkwealth” and “Citibankwealth” which appears the same but the first “а” is different from the second “a” and can easily be overlooked. How can users be made to know how to avoid this? What are the contingencies incase such happens? Can funds be recovered?
    Thank you

And if you don’t, do you plan to introduce such anytime soon?

  10. One of the features of BTCDOMAIN is that a domain name is registered within a specific timeframe and after that, it expires. So why can’t a user register a domain name for a longer period? Imagine a business owner who gives out their domain name to customers for transactions and let’s say every month he keeps giving them different domain names, won’t they think he isn’t serious? Why can’t it be like giving out a normal bank details? How long can one use a registered domain before it expires? Please explain Thanks

  11. Greetings BTCDOMAIN Team!

What could be the Key Advantages and Utilities of registering a domain name with your platform? do you happen to have a mechanism for registering multiple domains at once? Other projects such as “ENS and the Recent Space ID” gave their Domain name Holders Rewards as Airdrops to holders, so, does BTCDOMAIN have anything planned for Domain names holders?

  45. Good day,

Your project’s outline, structure and documentation proves that BTCDOMAIN will be a very welcomed development in the cryptosphere. In a nutshell, explain how BTCDOMAIN will give users mathematical certainty that BTC Domains will resolve to their correct wallet addresses as sure as there will only ever be 21million bitcoin; perhaps the BTCDOMAIN projects has integrated some sort of tech in ensuring maximum certainty? Dive a little deeper as regarding the technology that BTCDOMAIN has adopted in ensuring that there wouldn’t be any forms of mix up as regarding address resolution of the naming system.

  46. Good day,

For some of use that has little or no knowledge about ZK-tech, could you explain how this tech works in achieving the stated aim of achieving mathematical certainty of wallet address resolution? Why decide to use ZK-tech over other alternatives? Last I recall, BTC doesn’t use ZK solutions: will BTCDOMAIN be the first to integrate this on the BTC chain? If yes, how will you ensure that the whole process of integration of ZK-tech will be smooth and in turn prove beneficial to the BTC community? Would you be leveraging Ordinals too, as Ordinals are mostly observed on the BTC chain? Or will you be using both technologies (Zk and Ordinals)?

  47. Good day,

I’m interested in knowing more about BTC Domain name requirements/restrictions. To efficiently strike a balance between usability and future growth, what’s the minimum and acceptable length of a BTCDOMAIN? Are there any character limitations associated with these domains?
