The AMA session was divided into 3 parts with a total crypto reward pool of 500$.

In this AMA Recap, we will try to summarise the most interesting points for you.

Part 1 — introduction and questions from the Telegram&WebSite

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Hi dear community. We are happy to see you again. It is time to talk about an exciting project, I’m talking about Secretum.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Hello all, sorry for the little delay…

Our guest today is @SecretumCEO. Hello and welcome to Satoshi Club!

Secretum: Hello everybody!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Hello and welcome 🤗 Nice to e-meet you.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Let’s give a warm welcome to our great guest , SecretumCEO 🥳🥳

@SecretumCEO sorry for the short delay, let’s begin the AMA with a great introduction about you 😃

Secretum: Do not worry, it is okay! Let’s start 🙂

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Yeah, can you give us a brief introduction about yourself? Your role in Secretum and how you got involved in this space.

Secretum: Yes, sure!

I am Mangirdas, the CEO of Secretum with several years of experience and knowledge in Project Management, Business Development and Marketing.

My educational background comes in Industrial Technology Management. Since 2013, I have been passionate about crypto, blockchain and trading.

Together with the team we saw the need from the crypto community for secure space to communicate and exchange crypto assets, thus we wanted to create a solution that would allow the growing crypto community to keep their identity anonymous.

The anonymity nature of cryptocurrency makes crypto owners especially keen to adopt a messaging app like Secretum, that combines messaging and trading privacy with blockchain security.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Amazing idea, but currently we can find similar projects in the market. How Secretum is difference to its direct competitors? Which features make you better?

Secretum: Great question.

When it comes to competition, we are competing with existing messaging apps on one hand and existing trading solutions on the other.

In terms of messaging, our competitors are popular messaging applications like Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, but also smaller ones like Status or Sylo.

Nevertheless, we have significant advantages over them, as Secretum avoids the personal and data risks present in existing messaging apps, while offering a significantly greater level of privacy.

On Secretum, all data and messages are stored on trusted nodes directly on our Solana-based blockchain network, thus eliminating the security risk of centralised user data storage, bypassing any central points of failure, as well as geographic/political obstacles.

In terms of trading, a number of elements make Secretum an ideal trading solution compared to existing market alternatives.

First, the Secretum “Instant Trade” function allows users to directly send from or receive to their wallets crypto assets to/from those of other Secretum users.

Second, Secretum wallets are Ethereum compatible and allow users to trade NFTs and other cryptocurrencies also with wallets outside of the Secretum network.

Third, the Solana architecture enables Secretum users to develop advanced trading applications to manage and invest in crypto assets.

Secretum itself is – the world’s first and only decentralised, encrypted messaging app, built on the Solana blockchain. It offers users a safe, hassle-free, and direct messaging platform, revolving around major technological advantages:

  • No servers, no moderators, and complete end-to-end encryption for all messages between users.
  • No message data or file storage in a centralised location or on the cloud — only on trusted and independently verified nodes in the Secretum network.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Wow that’s long…let us read 😁

Secretum: Sure)

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: So many great and unique features for the world’s first and only decentralized, encrypted messaging app on the Solana chain 👏

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Incredible, an all in one project with trending topic features, we are glad to learn about Secretum. I think you really have differentiating characteristics.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: I agree with you! And the first of its kind on Solana blockchain.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Well, thank you so much for this complete introduction about you and about Secretum. We have collected the best community questions for you to help us learn about the project. Ready to proceed?

Secretum: Yes, it is))

Q1 from Telegram user @CriyptoSky:

In the Secretum messaging solution on your whitepaper, you said that messaging apps have proliferated during the last decade and the growth is expected to continue to an estimated 2 billion by the end of 2023. Moreover, popular messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram do not address and solve the concerns of their users. So, what I want to know is if your platform is offering partnerships or solutions to those popular messaging applications or you plan to rollout and use your individualized platform, which addresses and also carries out these new features, such as the decentralised, encrypted messaging and OTC trading blockchain DApp that creates a completely new ecosystem?

Secretum: Really good question!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Yes, a very interesting one.

Secretum: Yes, we have partners and now I will tell you about one of them.

One of the partners is Insignius Capital (https://insignius.capital/). It is an investment firm focused exclusively on ventures, tokens and projects related to blockchain tech, digital currency and crypto assets. When it comes to how they are helping us, our strategic partners provide advice on strategy, matching and allocating resources, as well as reaching bigger market penetration.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Great strategy, that talks very good of the team behind Secretum 👏

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: But do you plan on having partnerships with any social media platform such as the ones you mentioned?

Secretum: Yes, we are planning in the future!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: This will be a great move 👍

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers. Here is the next question!

Q2 from Telegram user @iceVermithraxx:

It is estimated that 75% of all SMEs have no cyber security plans and that 60% of small businesses that are victims of a cyber attack go out of business within six months. I also understand that Secretum is built on a three layer structure. What are some measures Secretum has put in place to help SMEs reduce risks of cyber attacks? Can you explain these layers of Secretum and their features? And lastly, do you have any plans to integrate and create bridges with other blockchains?

Secretum: Great.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: @SecretumCEO 👀

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: It’s an important question, he should be preparing a complete answer.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Yes, let’s get ready to read a long and comprehensive answer.

Secretum: Sorry for the delay)

We are at the early stage, currently working on MVP and architecture. With each product development stage, we will explore possible technical solutions to protect our users and make sure the stay secure and anonymous.

When it comes to partnerships, yes we have plans to establish partnerships with other projects in our area.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: So in other words, we should expect an integration with other chains?

Secretum: Also, we are going to have bridges to other networks, firstly being Ethereum based chains.

For businesses, we are going to provide the opportunity to establish their closed personal nodes network to ensure channels for communication.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Great job! Thank you for your answers.

Secretum: My pleasure!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Ready for the next question?

Secretum: Yup, let’s go.

Q3 from Telegram user @DK177:

You have scheduled three private sales with separate allocations, 10% for the round 1, 4% for the round 2 and 3% for the round 3. Is there a special reason to plan three rounds? As a whole, you have allocated 17% from the total supply of $SER for private sales. However, the allocation for the public sale is only 2% from the supply. Why did you underestimate the contributions by community members? Further, you have allocated 20% for the development. This is also a considerable allocation. Please explain what kind of developments will be carried out and how these funds will be utilized.

Secretum: We have a high demand for the project and our private sale is going on very well. That’s why we have updated the tokenomics and also, we have been advised to do so by our advisors and experts. The collected contributions will be allocated to app development, marketing and team expansion.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Btw, can you share the updated tokenomics with us?

Secretum: Yes, sure!

Currently, we have private sale round 1 going on. There is a minimum contribution of $5000 USD.

Please see more details on the tokenomics of $SER below:

  • Private round 1 price: $0.20
  • Private round 2 price: $0.35
  • Private round 3 price: $0.50
  • Public sale price: $0.70
  • IDO launch price: TBD

Write an email to [email protected] with the USD amount that you would like to invest and the stablecoin or crypto you would like to use. We will then come back to you with the next steps to confirm your allocation.

  • Private round 1: 10,000,000 SER tokens at a rate of $0.20. Deadline — November 29, 2021, at 24:00 EET.
  • Private round 2: 4,000,000 SER tokens at a rate of $0.35. Deadline — January 25, 2022, at 24:00 EET or before allocated SER tokens are sold.
  • Private round 3: 3,000,000 SER tokens at a rate of $0.50. Deadline — February 28, 2022, at 24:00 EET or before allocated SER tokens are sold.

We have smart contract for token release. After investment, your tokens will be released with vesting accordingly:

  • 20% of your $SER will be sent to you immediately.
  • The equity will be protected with world-class security and credited to you 10% quarterly 3 months after TGE in line with the private sale vesting schedule.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Great, that shows adaptability.

Thanks for sharing it, what are the main use cases for $SER?

Secretum: Good question.

The token is going to be used for opening channels, motivating node runners, trading, gas fees, message sending and smart channels opening.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers. The next questions is about running nodes on Secretum, ready for it?

Secretum: Yes)

Q4 from Telegram user @UniqueVicky:

$SER will be rewarded to users who provide nodes to Secretum network. How can a user provide nodes to Secretum network to receive $SER rewards? How much $SER will be given to a user who provides nodes to Secretum network? Generally, there are 3 distinct type of nodes, miner nodes, light nodes and full nodes, which of these three nodes can a user provide to Secretum network? Is there a specific amount of $SER given to a user according to a node he provides or it’s the same amount for any node provided?

Secretum: At the moment, technicalities for nodes are not yet decided. It’s a bit too early to talk about it because as mentioned previously, we are at the early stage. You can read the current available information in our whitepaper.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Can you share your roadmap with us so we can follow up on when important features of Secretum are scheduled to be rolled out?

Secretum: Yes, for sure)

Secretum addresses the B2B, B2G, and C2C customer segments. We plan to start by targeting our early adopters – the crypto community, as they need a secure messaging and trading platform the most. Secretum plans to market itself and expand via a series of proven strategies that have been used by other messaging and trading apps (including Telegram, Robinhood, and Dropbox) to create fast organic growth.

In terms of the product, this year, our main priority is to start the app development, conduct blockchain agnostic architecture beta testing and finalise the private token sale. The MVP of the app will be launched next year.

Our development plan can be found below:

Q4 2021

• Blockchain agnostic architecture beta testing
• Binance smart chain bridge support
• App development starts
• Private token sale

Q1 2022

• Private sale
• Public sale
• Private beta testing and NFT airdrops
• Public beta release (Crypto Influencer Campaign)

Q2 2022

• Final testing
• Deployment on app stores

Q3 2022

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Thank you for sharing this with us. Ready for next question now?

Secretum: Yes, ready)

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Thanks for sharing it, let’s proceed with the next question!

Q5 from Telegram user @Ajpaa:

In addition to its advantages as a messaging app, Secretum allows users to trade P2P fungible and non-fungible crypto assets in a cost-effective way, bypassing existing exchanges. How does your innovative P2P architecture work for trading fungible and non-fungible crypto assets without the need for an exchange? Which trading problems would this innovative architecture solve and in what way will it enhance user’s experience? What advantages does multiple user functionalities integrating communications and crypto trading on the same platform offer to users?

Secretum: Such a hard, but interesting question, let me think please.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Alright.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Don’t worry, take your time.

Secretum: By utilising Secretum’s vault/escrow contracts there will be no need of the third party interaction to initiate the trade.

The key benefit of our platform is the all in one solution, that you can message each person with the interest to create a deal and exchange assets.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: This is very interesting! So, to use this, what do users need?

Secretum: So, just the wallet which will be used to identify the user.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Great.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Like a KYC system?

Secretum: Yes.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers. Ready for the last question of this part?

Secretum: Yes.

Q6 from Telegram user @victorogb:

A couple of days back, Secretum announced an update to its token sale metrics for $SER. Secretum consequently split its private sale round to 3 rounds with further price increases for each round. Even as this move is welcomed by early investors, may we know the factors that necessitated this change and can you briefly update us on the current metrics with your private sale rounds? Also, since these changes were applied across all private sale rounds, how about your public sale? Was there also an adjustment to its sale metrics? Finally, asides these listed economic sectors, what other areas received an increase in token allocation?

Secretum: I already provided it here, you can see the private rounds. As I wrote earlier, we will provide public sales in 2022. See our roadmap.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Is there any whitelist to join?

Secretum: You can find it in Secretum’s website – https://secretum.io/

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: @SecretumCEO, thank you so much for your incredible answers, 2 hours learning about an innovative an exciting project like Secretum 😁👏.

Is time to proceed with the second part of the AMA. In the live segment we will open the chat and you should answer your 10 favourites questions, ready to proceed? 🥳🎉

Secretum: Yes, sure!

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Well, prepare your questions SatoshiClubbers!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club: This will for sure be exciting!

Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community

Q1 from Telegram user @Ava_renee:

Most investors focus only on the short-term price instead of the real value of the project. Can you tell us about the long-term benefits for investors in this project?

Secretum: In 18-24 months, we expect to have a working and trustworthy platform with an established user base and active community whose members act as ambassadors of Secretum. Besides that, we expect to establish broad and strong partnerships in order to cooperate and expand our offering on the app, for example, to offer a broader variety of trading possibilities.

This year, our main priority is to start the app development, conduct blockchain agnostic architecture beta testing and finalise the private token sale. The MVP of the app will be launched next year.

Q2 from Telegram user @Hellos151:

Do you have any Telegram channel or Twitter for this project? From where can we learn something?

Secretum: Yes, here it is:

Q3 from Telegram user @Gemshunter22:

Why have you chosen Solana blockchain for your project? What competitive advantage do you see in it? You could have gone for other blockchains too. What are your plan regarding additional blockchain support?

Secretum: As big enthusiasts and active participants of the crypto scene, we have experienced the problem of a lack safe and secure space to communicate and exchange crypto assets with other community members ourselves.

We wanted to create a solution that would allow the growing crypto community to keep their identity anonymous. The anonymity nature of cryptocurrency makes crypto owners especially keen to adopt a messaging app like Secretum, that combines messaging and trading privacy with blockchain security. That’s why we chose Solana.

Q4 from Telegram user @Nensam:

What does Secretum mean? And why did you name your project like that? I’m anxious to know, kindly share it with us.

Secretum: It came naturally from the main issue we are trying to solve – hidden or anonymous identity. We have associated this concept with the word secret/in secret, which in Latin stands by the word Secretum. It felt like the perfect name for us, for our idea.

Q5 from Telegram user @cenkkargin0666:

What is Secretum’s main goal and vision in the market? Since the files will be processed on a P2P basis with very high data transfer, does Secretum have the structure to provide this data migration?

Secretum: Our team envisions a world where communications and assets are completely free from intermediaries, risks of theft, or any other external threat.

By combining innovative trading capabilities with unique messaging features, Secretum aims to become the go-to communication and trading solution for the global crypto community.

As crypto ownership becomes mainstream, the market need for seamless trading and secure messaging will merge into a single one, which Secretum will be ideally positioned to service.

Achieving this vision would make Secretum go far beyond the scope of being just the next messenger – it would instead build the foundations for making it a pioneer of the blockchain era.

Q6 from Telegram user @Siyam0777:

Is your project only for elite investors? How about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?

Secretum: This project is absolutely for everyone! You can join us and buy tokens whenever you want!

Q7 from Telegram user @Thisistoyin:

I would like you to tell us about the fees for minimum and maximum investment, would the common man be able to invest? How about your community base? Cause as we know it, to every project, there has to be a strong community behind it. So, what events are you organizing on social networks to bring people to participate and learn about the project? Does your platform have ambassadors?

Secretum: Minimum is 5k, maximum for private 250k, for VCs max is 500k.

Our main community is on Telegram and we are working on other platforms too. Regarding ambassadors, it’s in our plans.

Q8 from Telegram user @Siyam0777:

Do you have a token burning plan in the future to increase token value and attract investors?

Secretum: Transaction commissions are generated from P2P asset transfers and messages. To promote the value of the token and the stability of the ecosystem, partial burning of each transaction fee is also implemented.

As the Secretum network grows, inflationary rewards will constitute the bulk of incentives, to attract and build a large network of nodes and node validators.

To launch an SPC, a user will have to to pay 100 SER tokens, of which 20% will be instantly burned, and 80% will become a staking reward for nodes.

To access the content, users pay owners set fees, which owners keep 90% of. The remaining 10% is used as a staking reward (80%) and burned (20%).

Q9 from Telegram user @Siyam0777:

NFT is really a hot topic in the crypto currency market now. How is your project planning to develop NFTs and integrate them with De-Fi?

Secretum: We will provide the opportunity to trade non fundable tokens by OTC trades solution.

Q10 from Telegram user @amx200297:

Do you have connections and partnership plans with other messengers?

Secretum: Now we have Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, but also smaller ones like Status or Sylo. In the future we will try to find new ones)

Part 3 – Quiz Results

As usual, for the third part, Satoshi Club Team asked the chat 4 questions about the crypto project. A link to a Quiz form was sent into the chat.
