Part 1 — introduction and questions from the Website
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Hello Satoshi Club! We are happy to announce our AMA session with Marhaba DeFi!
Welcome to Satoshi Club😀
D. | Satoshi Club:
today our guests – @blakk00 and @Rom7809 ! 🥳
Glad to have you in Satoshi club!
How are you doing guys 😊
Mary | Satoshi Club:
@Jawa001 welcome here 😀
Ahmed Jawa:
A pleasure to be here, how are you?
Thanks for having me.
D. | Satoshi Club:
Great! Good, you have you here 😃
Mary | Satoshi Club:
We are excited to have you here today and can’t wait to start our AMA👍
Ahmed Jawa:
I am excited also.
D. | Satoshi Club:
So let’s begin! 🚀
Mary | Satoshi Club:
And we will start it with intro 👏
Could you please introduce yourself and tell us more about Marhaba DeFi 🚀
Ahmed Jawa:
Yeah for sure!
My name is Ahmed, I have been working with MarhabaDeFi for some time focused on Marketing, Strategy, and Operations
I come from a Finance background and have been working in various Corporate and IGO roles in the past. Having a strong passion for Faith-Based investing brought me to MarhabaDeFi.
Marhaba DeFi is the first of its kind which is addressing a major gap in the crypto world.
Marhaba is building an ethical ecosystem to provide an all-in-one solution with a range of DeFi products. While inclusive of all faiths – Marhaba is focussed on the Islamic Finance liquidity pool which is currently over $3 trillion in size, growing, and serves over 1,000,000,000 people globally. The majority of whom are excluded from Cryptocurrencies and DeFi markets due to lack of Sharia compliance, complexity, and product fragmentation.
D. | Satoshi Club:
Nice! did you work with any other crypto projects before Marhaba DeFi? 😊
And please, tell us a bit about the team behind the project 😃
Mary | Satoshi Club:
As I understand your traditional finances? Is there any division between Islamic finances and others?
Ahmed Jawa:
I have not, however, I have been in the crypto world (trading, staking…) for some time now.
The team on the other hand has a lot of experience with successful projects from the past.
I highly recommend looking into each member on the team as we all come from great experiences and knowledge sets.
https://marhabadefi.com/our-team.php
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for your intro, Ahmed! Do you want to add something or we can go to
the questions from our community?😀
@Jawa001 😀
Ahmed Jawa:
Yea so halal finance solutions are an ethical solution to the world of finance.
They are honestly the solution to many global problems that currently we face in the finance world. Halal Finance solutions stay away from Interest, high speculation, bad industries, gambling, and much more. If you look into it, after the 2008 market crash few of the banks that survived the best were all from this industry.
It is a huge solution in finance – one that is for 1.7 billion people worth above 3 trillion dollars annually
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Hmmm, I have one more question.
So, is crypto halal or haram after this?😀
Ahmed Jawa:
Yeah for sure!
We are the first solution that is focusing on building a full DeFi ecosystem solution for this huge market, check us out!
Mary | Satoshi Club:
👍
Ahmed Jawa:
Yea we are well aware of this, and our project already considered the points made by the scholars from this report. We respect the opinion of the scholars but at the same time, we have to acknowledge that they may not be fully informed about the crypto world. Thus we recommend everyone to read into our Green Paper also.
We believe and documented that it is Halal
https://marhabadefi.com/info-centre.php
Mary | Satoshi Club:
That’s great 😊 thank you! Now we feel much safer👍
So, let’s start with the questions 🚀
D. | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for the great intro!
Q1 from Telegram user @meml97
It caught my attention the fact that Marhaba’s goal is to unlock the untapped potential of “Islamic DeFi”, but I was wondering, as a person that is an outsider to the Islamic DeFi, can you tell me more about it? What is really different about the Islamic DeFi from the DeFi we know in other parts of the world? Also, Marhaba aims to unlock its true potential, why can’t other solutions that have been created thinking in DeFi work in Islamic DeFi too? What kind of problems did you see with this solution that you decided to create your own with Marhaba?
Mary | Satoshi Club:
👀
Ahmed Jawa:
Great question!
The Islamic Finance Liquidity is worth 3 Trillion and as we can see much of the Fiat percentage is slowly being transferred towards Defi and while this is happening in general it is also happening to all global financial liquidity. Previously there were no full solutions for the Islamic Finance Liquidity… but now there is – Marhaba DeFi. Being the first in the market gives us a huge Growth Potential.
The above is an investors pitch, we are more inclined to bring a truly inclusive solution for the Crypto World. MRHB DeFi is truly a product of a need. before I would have to do days of research to find good Halal-Compliant ways to invest in Crypto… I would have to make many accounts on many solutions.. but now you won’t have to as…
MRHB DeFi is an entire Halal- Compliant ecosystem
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you! Completely full answer!
Ahmed Jawa:
Yeaa haha
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Ready to proceed?
Ahmed Jawa:
There is so much that can be discussed on this topic.
Yea let’s do it!
D. | Satoshi Club:
🚀🚀🚀
Q2 from Telegram user @chinyere2020
I found out that the Marhaba DeFi ecosystem development is set out in three phases; “Phase 1 release”, “Phase 2 release” and “Phase 3 release”. Can you mention the features that will be added to the Marhaba DeFi ecosystem during each of these phases? What will be the functions and use cases of the features to be added? Can you give an idea of when each of these phases of development will take place?
Ahmed Jawa:
Great question, here let me add our Road map here…
This is in the whitepaper, I highly recommend reading the white paper.
So as you can see we have a very extensive roadmap.
D. | Satoshi Club:
True!
I see you are running your pre-public sale right now, would you give us more information about this event? will you have more token sales after finishing the current one?
Ahmed Jawa:
Good question, We are currently having our PrePublic Sale Round and it is going very well, we are selling out very quickly.
This is an opportunity you honestly do not want to miss.
It is an opportunity to get our tokens 35% lower price than the IDO price.

🔥
D. | Satoshi Club:
Cool! great opportunity! 😊
Ahmed Jawa:
Read this FAQ if you have any questions https://drive.google.com/file/d/16KI5J6ZgRR6lo-sjKldj3FulyQyRO2N-/view
It’s a HUGE opportunity.
Mary | Satoshi Club:
👏
D. | Satoshi Club:
Thanks a lot for the great answers! ready move on to the next question?
Ahmed Jawa:
Yes, I am ready!
D. | Satoshi Club:
🙌
Q3 From Telegram User @Cheriemike
You will launch an “Entrepreneur Launchpad” which will be used to provide a gateway to the less fortunate to fund their dreams and entrepreneurial goals in a Shariah-compliant manner. So when will this Launchpad be made available? Will the funds made be meant for only entrepreneurs of the Islamic Community or is it inclusive of non-islamic communities? How will you get to support entrepreneurs around the world? Will you host campaigns, live broadcasts, etc to reach this one? Please can you kindly tell us more about this launchpad and its features? Thanks
Ahmed Jawa:
Want to learn more about MRHB read through our Pitch: https://docsend.com/view/4dwtrak9p5kjdw4s
Mary | Satoshi Club:
What about Launchpad features?😀
Ahmed Jawa:
As you can see in our Roadmap we are working towards launching that in 2023.
The Funds are not limited to any specific belief system or region. They will however only fund projects that are halal compliant, now what does that mean you may ask. So pretty much projects that are ethical, that are good for society, that stay away from gambling, Interest, bad industries (weaponry, entertainment…)
D. | Satoshi Club:
As i see you are planning to migrate on Polkadot or Cosmos in Q2/2023, why did you choose these chains? and on which network you will launch your platform initially?
Ahmed Jawa:
Great question,
Our goal is to be a Multi-chain solution so the community at large can access our solutions with ease. Polkadot and Cosmos are great networks that have low gas fees and can be built on for the best results in the long run.
Initially, we are focusing on BEP20.
D. | Satoshi Club:
Got it! thank you! great goal, love both of these chains 😊👍
Ahmed Jawa:
We talk more about this on our Whitepaper page 45
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Satoshiclubbers, read it if you still didn’t 👍
Thank you for your answers! Ready for the next question?🔥
Ahmed Jawa:
Always ready
Q4 from Telegram user @Jmagsss
Marhaba has its own crypto-wallet called “SAHAL Wallet”. Can you tell us more details about SAHAL Wallet? What are the other features and functions of the said wallet aside from sending/receiving/storing cryptocurrencies?
Ahmed Jawa:
Great questions BTW
D. | Satoshi Club:
Thank you 🥳
Ahmed Jawa:
This is one of the products that excites me a lot about MRHB DeFi. The Sahal wallet is the First wallet that will make the faith-based community’s life 99% easier when it comes to making money in the crypto world.
Before people would have to spend days to see which solutions from the Crypto world are halal-compliant and now they have the Sahal Wallet. We have a team of designated researchers and Scholars that we will do all the leg work for the community.
In addition to that Sahal wallet will be the link between all of the solutions in the ecosystem.
in summary: A wallet that will give you a full DeFi experience in one place – without the hard work involved
D. | Satoshi Club:
Interesting, will it be a multi-currency wallet?
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Hmm, sounds great!
You were first 😂
Ahmed Jawa:
Yea exactly
D. | Satoshi Club:
Awesome! 😎
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for your answers! Ready to jump to the next question?🚀
Ahmed Jawa:
Let’s do it.
D. | Satoshi Club:

Q5 from Telegram User @Josegamboac
MRHB seeks to ensure greater diversity and stronger governance in the platform’s decision-making process. In summary, the team proposes a governance model that is made up of three entities: 1. The MRHB Governance Board (MGB) 2. The Shariah Governance Board (SGB), 3. The MRHB stakeholder community (MCS). How does the government model proposed by MRHB work? What role does each of the three entities of the MGB, SGB, MCS government model play? What are the advantages of this governance model?
Ahmed Jawa:
the team proposes a governance model that comprises three entities:
- The MRHB Governance Board (MGB)
- The Shariah Governance Board (SGB)
- The MRHB Community of Stakeholders (MCS)
Initially, the MGB will
drive overall platform governance, focussed product economics,
communications, regulatory engagement, with critical input from the SGB, who
also
have a representation in the MGB. Given the theological complexity, the SGB has
full
ownership of Shariah compliance of the MRHB ecosystem and veto power for any
products and practices they deem non-compliant. The MGB and SGB must both agree
for a product to be released.
The White paper summarizes it very well, to be honest ^
D. | Satoshi Club:
Appreciate the answer! 🙏let’s proceed to the next question 🚀
Q6 from Telegram user @victorogb
As stated from available documents, the MRHB ecosystem will incorporate a Liquidity Harvester which is expected to generate a halal return in the 5%-15% by directing leveraging the vast trading activities in the cryptocurrency market. Can you properly explain how the Liquidity Harvester will adequately perform such a function? How will MRHB solutions guarantee a sustainable Halal crypto wealth creation for all parties involved, and how does the Liquidity Harvester ensure overall ecosystem profitability, while maintaining robust security and strict Islamic financial compliance?
Ahmed Jawa:
The advantage is that we take the opinion of all the Pillars that affect the decision-making of MRHB and use that to continuously develop MRHB for the community at large!
Remember the greatest projects are the ones that use double-loop learning, learn from all angles.
Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for this first part, Ahmed! Do you want to add something or we can
move to the live part?🔥 If yes, i want to ask you to post all your social
links for our community, so, they will be able to find everything about Marhaba
DeFi in one place 😀
D. | Satoshi Club:
I think you are in hurry 👀
Ahmed Jawa:
This is a good question,
These percentages are not fixed, sometimes more, sometimes a little less. The Liquidity Harvester will follow a method that has been used in Islamic finance for the last few decades.
This will help bring higher security and profitability just like how the current methods do, the difference with ours is that the methods of Liquidity harvesting will be halal compliant.

Thanks
Mary | Satoshi Club:
I think you will have a lot of users! Really original solution!
Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community
Q1 from Telegram user @Gutike95
Understanding that your token is the backbone of the ecosystem and will be in all products as a way to pay fees, offset fees, earn rewards, bet on benefits, and more. How do you plan to maintain the value of the token in this changing market and be able to provide security to your customers?
Ahmed Jawa:
We have considered the highs and the lows thus we have such a phenomenal vesting period for the project. Our Vesting schedule will help prevent a Pump/Dump. Plus we have a strong roadmap that will keep users interested in the solution for the long term.
Q2 from Telegram user @highpee
DeFi principle DeFi is based on openness, decentralization, and collective participation. Will the users of Marhaba be limited to the Islamic Faith or can any investors invest in this project irrespective of their faith and religious bias?
Ahmed Jawa:
We are open to everyone, and promote it as such. Actually, many of our current investors and biggest supporters are non-Muslims. They support us because they know the value of the solution we are bringing to the community and the opportunity at large.
Q3 from Telegram user @Jonathantross
While Doing Research on your Website I Read about THE SOUQ NFT ( sNFT ) PLATFORM, Can you please tell me More about sNFT and What is the Primary Role of this in the Ecosystem?
Ahmed Jawa:
Yes, good question.
We are working on releasing our SOUQ NFT in the first week of December, internally to our initial investors, and from there to the rest of the global community.
We are working to onboard amazing designers to work on the platform. This NFT marketplace will be a no-code marketplace.
Q4 from Telegram user @Cheriemike
What are the Islamic rules of Modesty and Decency you mentioned that users need to follow especially for those artists who want to portray their art for the love of the Islamic community? Please Kindly Explain Thanks
Ahmed Jawa:
Our NFT marketplace will work to introduce these aspects into the design. Currently, we live in a world where hypersexuality is being displayed everywhere and also in the NFT marketplaces.
Souq NFT will not allow such artwork and designs to be minted and sold. We believe in building society and the current global immodesty is working towards dehumanizing society through hypersexuality.
Q5 from Telegram user @rengoku_kyu
Curious to know. Is Marhaba a Dubai-originated platform?
Ahmed Jawa:
We actually originated in Australia, but the best part of our team is that we all are spread across the world. haha, we are really decentralized. Due to us having a similar vision and goal, we met online and got the project going.
I am in Canada, some of our team are in the UK, some are in the Middle East, some are in Southeast Asia, some are in south Asia, and some are in Africa.
Q6 from Telegram user @Gemshunter22
In your roadmap Q4, there is Interest-free Crypto Financing. How does this works actually and how will you be able to sustain Interest-free finance?
Ahmed Jawa:
This is actually brought by the many well-researched methods that Islamic finance has brought. things like Mudharaba, Musharakhah, Ijara…
These solutions were one of the many reasons why the Halal banks survived the 2008 market crash.
Q7 from Telegram user @surendra040
Why there is a maximum limit of 5000$ to participate in your presale? What is the advantage of such limits?
Ahmed Jawa:
There is actually no Limit, the 5000 is the limit for investing through the Dashboard. Please read the FAQ Q5 for more details.
Q8 from Telegram user @Ava_renee
Your project is very important but it needs large user traffic to be sustainable over time. What marketing strategies do you have planned to increase the validity of your brand? Are you planning a strategic partnership to level up your project…???
Ahmed Jawa:
We have many methods to grow,
But the best part is that this project’s user interest is growing really fast on its own. we are currently hitting 45000 people on our main telegram, and we are growing on a daily basis by a few 1000s.
The project is a need, and thus the incentivization is the solution itself.
Q9 from Telegram user @messilolz
CAN small investors, who are new to crypto and have not much knowledge invest in your project, or is it for elite investors only?
Ahmed Jawa:
We are for everyone regardless of age, income, gender, religion…..
We are the definition of inclusive – the basis of what started the DeFi/Crypto world.
Part 3 – Quiz Results
In the final part, we tested your knowledge in terms of Marhaba DeFi. They’ve prepared 4 questions for this part. The total reward pool for the quiz was 300$.
