Hello, Satoshi clubbers! Another AMA took place in Satoshi Club and we would like to introduce to you the AMA session with our friends from CoinBurp and our guest was @y3peto – CEO and Co-Founder of CoinBurp. The AMA took place on 7th May.

The total reward pool was 500$ and has been split into 3 parts.

In this AMA Recap, we will try to summarise the most interesting points for you.

Part 1 — introduction and questions from the Website

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Hello, dear community! We are pleased to announce our AMA with CoinBurp 😊

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Today’s guest is @y3peto ! Welcome! Great to have you here!

Pete:
Hey! Amazing to be here, thanks for having me 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Hello and welcome to Satoshi Club, Peter Wood!

Pete:
Thank you!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
How are you today? Great to have you here 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Thanks for joining❤️

Pete:
Really good thanks – sun is shining in London, so all is well!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Well! crypto spring has come!😉

Pete:
And long may it continue 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Sure😁

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Haha great! 😁

Let’s start!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & CoinBurp?

Pete:
Sure – I’m Pete: CEO and Co-Founder of CoinBurp!

My journey started 7 years ago when I started my first cryptocurrency business as a brokerage on P2P platforms. We bought and sold Bitcoin on Localbitcoins.com and I quickly grew this business from nothing to one turning over £100M by 2017. We were (and still are) the largest UK brokerage operating on P2P platforms!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
BTW… What is your favourite flavour of crisps?😁😁😁🤣 What does the future of CoinBurp hold?

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Amazing 🚀

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
(I’m subscribed to your Twitter) haha😁

These are amazing results in such a short period 👍

Pete:
Hahaha easy question – cheese and onion of course!

The future for CoinBurp is a very interesting one…

We joined the Outlier Ventures accelerator in January to build ‘Coinbase for NFTS’ – an NFT-first crypto wallet connecting the worlds of CeFi to DeFi.

To date, we have now raised $5m in private rounds, and have had over $30m worth of interest in our raise. I would have loved to fit everyone in but unfortunately there not enough space! As part of this raise, we will be releasing our very own token $BURP and which support this amazing ecosystem we are building here.

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
What is the essence of CoinBurp?

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
I have a stint with cheese and onion crisps as well, nice taste haha 😂

Pete:
There is no better flavour 🐷

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
The amount you have raised already signals a great headstart 🙂

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
You have great plans and goals! 🚀

Pete:
Cheers! The amount of interest we’ve had has been insane.

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
I’ve had a look at the website and the app. I love the clean, easy-to-use user interface😉

Besides, let me tell you, I love Coinburp’s Logo, it’s so cool! 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
I absolutely agree! 👍

@y3peto Also we would like to know about your team. Who is on the project team?

Pete:
Easy of use for our customers is one of the most important key drivers when creating any product (especially in crypto!). The DeFi space is going to be revolutionary, but unfortunately the knowledge on-ramp is quite steep for noobs – our mission is to make the complicated look simple, and this is what you can expect to see from us.

Thank you! You can thank our designers for that ☺️

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
They are great!

Pete:
We were a team of around 14 people until a month ago, but have since grew to 30 as we look to blitz scale CoinBurp. We have a mixture of developers, designers, marketing, support, and ofcourse all our customers too who I would also class as part of the team ☺️

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Is your team anonymous or public? Do you have an office or do you work remotely. I know in London many companies have gone to remote work in connection with COVID.

Pete:
No one is anonymous, and we are all proud to publicly represent the company – when we formed CoinBurp, one of the common issues with the crypto space was a lack of trust due to anonymous founders, and we set out to tackle that. If you go on coinburp.com, you will be able to find my big shiny face on there 😁

Due to COVID it’s been a bit trickier, but we have offices in London and ask as many of our staff to come in when possible!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Great to read 🙂 Being public is becoming an unavoidable & necessary layer of trust in crypto 😁

Thanks a lot for the intro! Would you like to add something? Or shall we proceed with the questions from the community?🚀

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
I can only applaud your openness👍

Pete:
Let’s go for the questions!

Q1 from Telegram User @surendra040
I read on medium article that $BURP holders will be able to stake their tokens in the CoinBurp Non-Custodial NFT Wallet and become eligible for the CoinBurp NFT raffles. Can you tell us more how can staker win those exclusive NFTs and also provide us a sneak peek of NFTs your partners Sandbox, Avastars and NFT Boxes offer?

Pete:
😊

Sandbox, Avastars and NFT Boxes have been kind enough to give us exclusive, limited edition NFTs which will ONLY be available to win via our raffle. The only way to enter our raffle is by staking $BURP, so make sure you buy plenty when they’re released!

I want to keep the look of the NFTs a secret until the very end, but let me say that Sandbox ‘may’ be creating us an exclusive 1-of-a-kind CoinBurp mascot that you can use in their game 😉

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
It’s incredible. I would like to add that the Sandbox is our good partners and friends. And they were also at our AMA. 😊

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Darn, here at Satoshi Club we we love exclusive news! Thank you for sharing! 🤩

Pete:
And we will be creating our very own unique generative NFTs to be won in our raffle too!

They are amazing, we ❤️ them!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
So is it correct to say that the NFT DeFi wallet is specifically designed for NFTs?

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Indeed🚀

Pete:
Exactly – our app will be designed to store, sell and buy your NFTs!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
I mean I think I might not know any other wallet whose focus is Non-Fungible-Token. That’s gonna be a one-of-a-kind 😉

Also this is the perfect timing to launch your NFT DeFI wallet, as it’s turning out to be the real next big thing in crypto 🙂

Pete:
NFTs were designed to be shown and shared on your phone with friends – the social aspect is a major part for us, which is why designing for a phone app was a no brainer 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Where can I buy $BURP ?

Pete:
I completely agree – NFTs have been on a rocket ship to moon since the start of the year, and it doesn’t look like stopping any time soon!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Yes.. for many people, a mobile phone is a complete working tool.

🚀 This is an absolute crypto trend!

Pete:
We are in talks with a large number of IDO and IEO launchpads, but are still deciding which one is best for our token. We expect to have our public launch around the end of June – follow us on Twitter – @coinburp if you want to be the first to know when!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
I hope there will be preferences for Satoshi Clubbers 😁😉

Thank you very much for your answers! Ready for the next question?

Pete:
Yep lets do it!

Q2 from Telegram User @yellowchamp
According to your medium article that CoinBurp Wallet will be protected by the company’s $100M insurance, becoming one of the first DeFi-based products with institutional-level insurance for its users. Can you tell us what are the instances or cases will be covered with this insurance? Is this insurance will be applicable to all users of CoinbBurp? With this big amount allocated for company’s insurance, can you specifically tell us which insurance company you collaborated with to handle with insurance purposes of CoinbBurp? Lastly, can you explain more about the institutional-level insurance being offered to users? Thank you

Pete:
Great question! We are using the best-in-class crypto custodian BitGo for all our customer crypto. When we launch our new app, customers can have the ability of interacting with DeFi from within this insured BitGo custody, of which they insure up to $100m themselves.

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Nice! 😉 What kind of risks/events are insured?

Pete:
BitGo will cover third-party hacks, copying, or theft of private keys, insider theft or dishonest acts by BitGo employees or executives or their loss of keys.

The great thing about their wallets is that they are multi-sig 2 of 3, meantime even if 1 private key was taken, we are still not at risk as all transactions required 2 people to sign it!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Safety is a very felt concern in the crypto space, it’s really great and relieving to read that you’ve aptly anticipated the issue and have already taken care of that aspect 🚀

Thank you for your crystal clear answer! Let’s hop onto the next question, shall we?

Pete:
Customer security is our #1 priority ☺️

Yes please!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Thanks for the answer! it is very good that you have taken care of your customers.

Q3 from Telegram User @Jonahapagu
In Q2 2021, coinburp plans to be supporting full FIAT on and off-ramp allowing users to buy NFTs directly from their bank accounts. What FIAT will you be supporting for the start, and which ones do you have plans of supporting and in what way will FIAT be integrated into Coinburp?

Pete:
We can already accept GBP and EUR bank transfers for depositing fiat, and are now integrating card payments and PayPal as additional payment options. Once those 2 are built, we can accept nearly all currencies 😁

Each and every fiat payment option can be used to deposit or withdraw.

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
It sounds great, setting up for worldwide onboarding and adoption 👍

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Do your users need to pass KYC?

Pete:
Exactly! NFTs & DeFi are the future, and we will be catering for all ☺️

If customers wish to use fiat, they will need to complete KYC. This takes no longer than 15 minutes so it’s a relative light lift for them.

Once our app is released, if users wish to only use the non-custodial portion of our wallet, no KYC is needed – true DeFi!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Thanks for taking care of this. Great answers!

Ready for the next question? 😉🚀

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Excellent! Thanks for clarifying😊

Pete:
Yep!

Q4 from Telegram User @Arisabela
One of the great disadvantages of NFTs platforms is the slowdown of the interface offering a poor user experience to investors, how does Coinburp plan to facilitate users?

Pete:
The major issue we see with other marketplace is the vast amount of NFTs available (often millions to pick!) and the poor filter system offered. Our marketplace will be an aggregator of other high quality NFT marketplaces, while providing users with a personalised experience.

Think of an initial Tinder-like swipe left, swipe right set up so we can get a feel for the type of NFTs you’d be interested in exploring 👀

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Haha nice comparison, I like it 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
This is really what we all need today! 😁

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
Clean answer! Ready for the next question? 🚀

Pete:
Yes please!

Q5 from Telegram User @victorogb
Over the last couple of weeks, CoinBurp started a rather interesting and educative series called “CoinBurp Artist Interview Series” where talented NFT artists are periodically granted an exclusive interview by CoinBurp. Apart from been educative, these series also serves as a good exposure channel for artists. Nonetheless, how are these talented artist chosen for the interview series, will these series be limited to only NFT artist, and will there be an existing collaboration between CoinBurp and these graphic and digital artist in the future

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
By the way, I really enjoyed the series so far, especially the latest interview with CryptoPom… so many insights 😊

Pete:
We reached out to a large number of up-and-coming artists to see if they were interested in participating. Our mission really is to raise awareness of these lesser-known artists through CoinBurp exposure – we’d love to interview each and everyone if we have the time!

Another core product on our roadmap is CoinBurp Primetime – a service which will enable artists to mint and sell their NFTs via our platform. We will ofcourse firstly look to collaborate with the artists who kindly agreed to an interview!

Definitely! They have all been amazing and we’re luckily to have them participate ☺️

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
If an artist was interested in reaching out to CoinBurp, how could he/she dot that?

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
You will have an amazing symbiosis of business and art 👏👏👏

Pete:
My marketing guys mainly hang out on our Twitter – https://twitter.com/coinburp – drop us a DM and let’s talk!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Great! Thank you for sharing! 😁

Pete:
This space means more to us than just a business – we genuinely want to collaborate and grow this space with all these amazing people!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
You are great at it!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Time to proceed with the last question for this first part of the AMA, are you ready to go? 😉

Pete:
☺️

I’m ready!

Q6 from Telegram User @mm_carlos
There is an area of CoinBurp that I did not find information on but has been mentioned in some articles: what is CoinBurp Cookoff and what role does this play within the CoinBurp ecosystem?

Pete:
Great question!

CoinBurp Cook Off! is a gamified crypto collectible ecosystem run on the ETH utilising the power of NFTs. The premise behind it is that users (chefs!) are to buy ingredients (NFTs!) needed to create a food dish. The process of combining these ingredients will create a dish with unique properties under 4 catergories: apprerance, aroma, taste and texture. Each dish NFT will grant the holder special access within the Cook Off! ecosystem!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
This… is truly an original concept, brilliant! 🥳🔥

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
What times are we living in. 😁

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Can’t wait to start preparing and cook my very own “dishes” 😉

Pete:
It’s all a bit mad but will be a tonne of fun!

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Haha I’m sure!!!😎

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club:
And it also makes a profit. 😉

Paul Mont | Satoshi Club:
Thank you very much for the clear answers @y3peto !

Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community

Q1 from Telegram user @cryptofollower
Is it possible to hold Ethereum or other coins on NFT DeFi wallet other than NFT’s? What happens if I send some Ethereum there?

Pete:
Yes you hold Ethereum and a tonne of other ERC-20 tokens. Search for “CoinBurp DeFi” in the app stores, download it, and have a play!

Q2 from Telegram user @Wilmotac
Will Coinburp be looking to support NFTs built on platforms other than Ethereum, such as Solana?

Pete:
Our vision is to become blockchain-agnostic – any and all (including Solana) blockchains will be integrated in the long term!

Q3 from Telegram user @Kushal85127939
Please share tokenomics?

Pete:
Read all about our $BURP token here: https://coinburp.medium.com/introducing-burp-e6542b7f7a9f

Q4 from Telegram user @MAMUN0011
Without proper marketing and capital infusion, project dies, how do you convince us you have adequate marketing power and capital to push this project to the top project?

Pete:
We have allocated half of our funding to marketing, grown 1000% in the past 20 days alone and opened up channels in Russia, Turkey, China, India, Vietnam, Latam and there’s no sign of stopping us. We have top partner agencies like Panony and TokenSuite alongside us and over 30 investors all with their marketing capability helping us win.

Q5 from Telegram user @testercoin
Did you create your application for the iOS iPhone ecosystem? No one cares about iPhone on defi?

Pete:
We’re going to be available on iPhone, Android and Web. Our motto is accessibility and ease of use, and that includes being where our users are!

Q6 from Telegram user @MAMUN0011
There are crucial things that help a project success. but AMONG :

  1. PARTNERS
  2. COMMUNITY
  3. THE TOKEN PRICE
  4. SECURITY
which of them do you consider most crucial for your project?

Pete:
All 4 are hugely important, and although security is #1, without community we are nothing. If we execute on all the products we set out to build, the token price will naturally increase! I started my crypto career with nothing and have show an ability to execute – we are one project you can definitely rely on 😉

Q7 from Telegram user @tatarrama
Do you have experienced members or consultants in your team who will ensure the effective use of tools such as marketing, media, promotion and social networks to fully achieve your goals?

Pete:
Our advisors include Iqbal Gandham, former eToro CEO, Sebastien Borget, Co-Founder of Sandbox.game and a few other big names. We’re also part of the Outlier Ventures, the #1 Web3 accelerator programme!

Q8 from Telegram user @NataliyaKil
