Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Let’s start! Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & Kart Racing
Mary Satoshi Club: It should be great if he has username otherwise i can’t add him as admin
Umar Bhatty: Hi guys Umar here
Umar Bhatty: Lead game dev
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: nice to e-meet you Umar😁
Umar Bhatty: Likewise 😊
Joseph Rubin: Sure, so I am the CEO and co-founder of Blue Monster Games, the makers of Kart Racing League. I have a background in mechanical engineering and worked previously as a biotechnology researcher. I live in Florida, USA, and I was introduced to crypto in 2017 by a friend. From there, I started my own ICO project, which is where I met my business partner on Kart Racing League. KRL started as a gaming token called Kooopa, but was rebranded and morphed into this play-to-earn NFT game that you see today
Joseph Rubin: @ashleypren
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: tell us about yourself please😁
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Added
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Welcome to Satoshi Club guys🤗
Ashley Preininger: Hi everyone! I’ll let Umar introduce himself, then I’ll go next 😊
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Give us a brief introduction to the project. What is the essence of Kart Racing
Umar Bhatty: I have a background in computer engineering. Have been playing games since 2004. Developing them since 2011. The gaming world is quickly evolving and NFTs are the natural evolution. So here I am. I’m from Pakistan btw
Mary Satoshi Club: Cool background, Umar💪
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: I totally agree! the pace of development of the crypto industry is amazing🚀🚀🚀
Umar Bhatty: 100%
Ashley Preininger: Hello everyone! I’m the COO and co founder of this project. The essence of KRL is an exciting play-to-earn racing game that follows the economic model of axie infinity. It features Mario kart style gameplay and 3D nfts
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Also we would like to know more about your team. Who is on the project team core?
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: it is very exciting😊😍🤩
Ashley Preininger: As for myself, I am currently based in NYC acting as an operations consultant for large media companies including NBC and AMC. I’m excited to dive into crypto and nft full time in the coming months as this is such an exciting space to be apart of!
Mary Satoshi Club: Yes, it’s a good time to go nft full time😄
Ashley Preininger: For the the core project team, it’s led by Haydn Snape, Joe Rubin, myself (Ashley Preininger), Sumit Chitroda, and Umar Bhatty. Haydn, joe, and myself are all founders. Joe acts as CEO and I am COO. Sumit is out CTO and Umar is our lead developer
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Great background and dream team🔥🔥🔥
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for great introduction, we will have several questions selected for the Part 1. Ready to start?
Q1 from Telegram user @Highpee
I was exploring your channels and I found out that you have created a project before Kart Racing League known as Koopa ($KOO) . Can you explain the relationship between Koopa and Kart Racing League ($KRL) and are these projects managed by thesame team? Also, the website to Koopa is no longer accessible for me. Does it mean that you already discontinued with $KOO project or will it run side by side with Kart Racing League? And lastly, on the first of this month, you announced that you are preparing the launch of Realms of Ethernity (RoE) a world of witchcraft inspired multi-player online simulation game (MMOSG). Why are you releasing multiple and separate gaming projects at the same time without allowing the ones already launch to first thrive sustainably? Don’t you think focusing on too many things may hamper concentration?
Joseph Rubin: Sure, so we rebranded from Kooopa (KOO) to Kart Racing League (KRL). It is the same project (not separate), so it’s all one team. We shut down those websites, migrating tokens over to Polygon as well. People that held KOO now hold the equivalent amount in $KRL. As per the new game, Realms of Ethernity, we have decided to start launching this because most of the development for Kart Racing League is over. The game is ready for launch, so we have shifted our developers over to start on our next game. This will not affect the trajectory of Kart Racing League, as we have a massive team and have properly delegated all operations
Mary Satoshi Club: So, am i correct, that you will have multiple games?
Joseph Rubin: Yes, our company Blue Monster Games is making more and more play-to-earn NFT games. We want to be a leader in the NFT gaming space
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: you have a great chance of becoming a leader😁🚀
Joseph Rubin: Lol, we think so too!
Mary Satoshi Club: It will be a huge structure 👍
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for your answers
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Ready for the next question?
Joseph Rubin: Yes
Q2 from Telegram user @JesusFre1tes
Kart Racing League (KRL) is a new type of game, partially owned and operated by its players, and this has caught my attention as many of the decentralized games and platforms give total control to the community. Why has Kart Racing League decided to take a different path? What exactly is the power that your players have within the game? What aspects of the project can they change or modify?
Joseph Rubin: We haven’t decided to take a different path. Kart Racing League will transform into a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization), giving the $KRL holders control over the project. They have the ability to earn rewards by playing the game, and will have voting rights of the DAO by holding $KRL. They can change lots of aspects of the project, and will essentially be the owners of the project
Mary Satoshi Club: What they won’t be able to do?😄
Joseph Rubin: lol exactly
Joseph Rubin: The options are limitless
Mary Satoshi Club: Ahaha, that’s great! How governance will work? Which system did you choose? One token – one vote?😄
Joseph Rubin: It will be one token, one vote. But the governance will be orchestrated in a few months after we create a sustainable economy
Ashley Preininger: We’ll transition into a DAO by Q1 2022
Mary Satoshi Club: Very soon! The power of your community is close 💪
Mary Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers! Ready to go to the next question!🔥
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for your answers
Joseph Rubin: Yes, let’s proceed
Q3 from Telegram User @MudaraSilva
You staking program is starting in early 2022. Can you give a sneak peek about this event? Generally, projects offer staking option according to several tiers and users have to stake in a higher tier to receive better rewards. Does your platform also use the similar method? On the other hand, some projects offer staking rewards with a reward token, not with the same token. What about Kart Racing? Since you initiate the program is the next year, will their be any privileges/ special tiers for early stakers?
Joseph Rubin: It will have a similar method. We’ll provide more details on the staking programs after we launch the game. Staking is scheduled to be implemented in December, following the game launch this month on November 19!
Joseph Rubin: Staking will be done with $KRL , not another token
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Sounds great 👍
Joseph Rubin: Agreed!
Mary Satoshi Club: Btw, which blockchain will your game be based on?
Joseph Rubin: Polygon
Joseph Rubin: The NFTs and tokens are on Polygon, which is a Layer-2 solution on Ethereum
Mary Satoshi Club: Yes, great choice! Any plans for cross chain solutions?😄
Joseph Rubin: Yes, lot’s of discussions with other projects. There’s a lot we can do with this game! Stay tuned for updates on that in the coming weeks
Joseph Rubin: This is a look at one of our Racer NFT characters ^^
Mary Satoshi Club: Sure, we will follow your updates 👍
Mary Satoshi Club: It’s so cute 😻
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: I love it❤️
Mary Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers! Ready to jump to the next question?🚀
Joseph Rubin: Agreed, yes!
Q4 from Telegram User @Rotoxy
You mentioned in your whitepaper that anyone can earn tokens by playing games and contributing to the ecosystem. And players can earn by competing in online races, evolving and selling characters, and so on. Does this means that your game is free? How do you intend to keep your project running a free-to-play system and rewarding players as well?
Joseph Rubin: It is free, as long as they own an NFT. The tokens they earn in-game from winning races is called Essence of Creation (or $EOC). This is similar to Axie Infinity’s $SLP. You can use your $EOC to evolve racers, which creates a new NFT that’s bigger and better, with a new look and improved attributes. This is all based on a sustainable economic model similar to Axie Infinity’s game. Our EOC token is inflationary, but this is offset by the character evolution. When you evolve a Racer, the EOC is burned (similar to Axie’s breeding system). Evolution is our NFT duplication system. You can spend money to create new NFTs which you can then sell for more money!
Mary Satoshi Club: So, to start playing i will need to buy your NFT?😄
Joseph Rubin: Yes, correct
Joseph Rubin: Or alternatively, you could find a scholarship program to loan you one for free
Joseph Rubin: However, then you will have to pay part of your earnings to the managers
Mary Satoshi Club: How much will it cost?
Joseph Rubin: Our Racer NFTs are sold auction-style, with the minimum bid price around 200 USD
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for your answers ☺️
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Do you want to add something or we can proceed to the next question?
Joseph Rubin: We can proceed
Mary Satoshi Club: Good price👍 it’s almost acceptable) but with scholarship program i think everyone can join!
Joseph Rubin: Exactly
Q5 from Telegram User @Pavel_Jarosh
Following the race overview and the possiblity for players to use 4 power-ups to to help finish the race faster, or to slow down their competitors, the first appearing question is how these power-up can be minted? Is there a possiblity to resell not used or over stocks of power ups on marketplace? Does the efficacy of power-ups depent directly on the complexity of each arena? Thank you!
Joseph Rubin: Umar, you want to answer this one?
Umar Bhatty: Sure
Umar Bhatty: Power ups are not actually an NFT. They are found all across the race track and can be picked up by characters racing in the game and used in that instance/race session and expire as soon as the race ends, there is no carry forward or storage to them. I get where your confusion about the power ups being 4 arises, I assume it’s from seeing the four power up symbols – those are just buttons and high light when you pick that respective power up and once used they go grey again until that particular power up is picked again. The efficacy of the power ups is not arena dependant, however we have 10s of thousands of unique racers each with their own personality and attributes, those attributes might amplify the efficacy of a power up. For example if my racer has a nice acceleration and I pick boost up and use it, it will in turn provide me a nicer boost than a kar with less acceleration. All NFT are uniquely balanced to cater for all sorts of styles of play
Umar Bhatty: We have strived to make the whole experience simple enough for casually users and yet offer enough complexity to the enthusiasts
Umar Bhatty: *striving 😂
Mary Satoshi Club: How easy will be for no gamers to play your game? Do you have any guidance for them?
Mary Satoshi Club: Haha, partially answered)
Ashley Preininger: I’m not a gamer myself, and I was able to pick it up quickly and immediately have fun playing. The controls are very intuitive which makes it easy to navigate
Umar Bhatty: The game itself is tailored towards broad audiences as racing is a genre everyone is familiar with. However we also have an in game tutorial planned
Mary Satoshi Club: Fantastic 👍
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for your great answers
Mary Satoshi Club: Thank you for your answers! Ready for the 6th and last question from this part?🎉
Joseph Rubin: I believe so
Q6 from Telegram user @victorogb
It is stated from your documents that the native $KRL tokens will function as a deflationary token, with 0.5% of these burnt for every transaction. However, I noticed that Kart Racing League will incorporate some elements of inflationary adjustments within its ecosystem to maintain a healthy and affordable NFT population growth. Can you carefully reconcile this slight discrepancy in your economic model, how will $KRL effectively function as a deflationary token, whilst a periodic NFT population growth scheme is employed in your gaming ecosystem? Also, why do you think this “Character Population” approach is important within your gaming ecosystem?
Joseph Rubin: I think you’re confusing the $KRL token with our in-game token, $EOC. EOC is an inflationary currency, while KRL tokens are deflationary. The NFTs are a separate entity in themselves, but connected to EOC because that currency is required for evolving your NFTs. This is all based on the economic model of Axie Infinity, which appears to be a sustainable economy. Here’s the comparison:
$KRL = $AXS
$EOC = $SLP
Racers = Axies
I’m not sure what you mean by “character population” approach. There will be almost 180,000 natural Racer NFTs available. This is the first level of NFT evolution and has a fixed supply. However, the next evolutions of the NFTs are inflationary because you can evolve the original ones to create more and more. It’s exactly how Axies work, but just with 3D generated NFTs and more fun and engaging Mario Kart-styled gameplay.
Mary Satoshi Club: Super! Can share your tokenomics with us, so no one will be confused in the future 😄
Mary Satoshi Club: Thank you for sharing 👍
Joseph Rubin: Sure, it’s all located in our whitepaper.

Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community
Q1 From telegram User @Antoni_azx
On their page they inform that 25% of the token that will go to E-Sports & Tournaments would be available and unlocked, but that this could be seen as a marketing budget for the KRL ecosystem, but what I would like to know what it will be the estimated date so that we can start enjoying both E-Sports and tournaments? How will players apply to such tournaments? Will the rewards for the winners be tokens only, or will there be additional rare NFTs or unique items?
Joseph Rubin: Tournaments are starting very soon. Like 1-2 weeks. We will do a weekly tournament
Q2 From telegram User @Ratash97
Does Kart Racing League game support online player vs player competitions ?
Joseph Rubin: Yes, definitely
Q3 From telegram User @highpee
One of the concept I read why going through your project details is RACER EVOLUTION. What does this the evolution concept involve and how do a racer evolve? How does racers evolving enable them to win races and rank high in tournaments?
Joseph Rubin: It’s similar to Axie’s breeding system, duplicating your NFTs. The new NFTs will be upgraded, with a new look and better stats (like speed, handling, etc.) so they can help you win tournaments more easily!
Q4 From telegram User @Cheriemike
You said that the $KRL Platform Fund will initially be managed by the Blue Monster Games core team, and its core purpose is to grow the KRL community. So how will $KRL funds be managed by the Blue Monster Games team before you finally take charge? What connections/level of trust do both projects have that made you to entrust the platforms funds to Blue Monster teams?
Joseph Rubin: Blue Monster Games is our company. It’s the same team.
Q5 From telegram User @chinyere2020
How many players will receive rewards after a race? What determines the amount of rewards an eligible player will get?
-Puter: We set an initial prize based on our economics, and soon it’ll be decided by the dao
Q6 From telegram User @Pavel_Jarosh
Kart Racing League consists of “seasons” that last for roughly 10 weeks. These seasons introduce a new race track, along with a new chapter in the game’s storyline. Please reveal the total amount of seasons as well as if there’s a final once the game is completed? What is the delay between 2 seasons? If the season lasts 10 weeks does it mean that all players who have started it from the beginning will play till the last day of season? Can a player join a season “on the go” when it has already started?
Joseph Rubin: There is no total. It’s a system similar to Rocket League’s rankings. We will do seasons every 9-10 weeks, in perpetuity. A player can play as much as they want. The rankings are just reset at the start of each season
Q7 From telegram User @chinyere2020
How many players will receive rewards after a race? What determines the amount of rewards an eligible player will get?
Umar Bhatty: The top 3 racers are awarded prizes. The exact amounts are being balanced and tweaked as we speak
Q8 From telegram User @adaatalay
Why is $KRL retrieved from the bottom of the polygon mesh? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy directly from the polygon mainnet?
Joseph Rubin: It would, but more people hold ETH so that’s just how we structured our presale. Presale is live and ongoing on our website, for those interested:
https://tokensale.kartracingleague.com/
After pre-sale ends, you will have the option to buy with MATIC.
Q9 From telegram User @Nonerlike
Is there anything unique about your project unlike similar projects. Do you have any partnership done and what are your achievement till now?
Umar Bhatty: What you see right now is the tip of the iceberg. With out spoiling the mystery – we have a complete multiverse planned and in the works with our NFTs. So it’s not gonna be just this game
Q10 From telegram User @chinyere2020
I learnt that there will be 4 power-ups available during a race. Can you mention the power-ups available and their functions? How will players get these power-ups?
Umar Bhatty: There is a turbo. A missile for shooting leaders. Shields. Repair power ups. We have more planned.
Part 3 – Quiz Results
In the final part we tested your knowledge in terms of Showcase. They’ve prepared 4 questions for this part. The total reward pool for quiz was 300$.
