Hi

Β Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Hello Dear Satoshiclubbers, Welcome to Our AMA session with NexBloc

Dana Farbo

Great to be here!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Our guests for today is @Dafarbs

Β

Hello welcome to Satoshi Club

Dana Farbo

Hi all and @Jonahapagu

Pavel P

Welcome to Satoshi Club!

How are you doing today?

Dana Farbo

Great and ready to go!

Pavel P

So as we’re! Let’s start!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

.. Let start our AMA

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

So can you please introduce yourself to us, how you got into crypto and how NexBloc started?

Dana Farbo

Sure – I am Dana Farbo and the Founder of NexBloc. I have been in the crypto and blockchain space for 6 years.

Dana Farbo

I have always lived on the edge of technology and saw blockchain as the next movement

With decentralization now at the core of what I do, I am looking at all projects that can be pulled into the space. From Social Media to Commerce websites, etc

Dana Farbo

At the core though, we need infrastructure

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

The list keeps growing everyday

Dana Farbo

NexBloc is infrastructure to make it all work well

Dana Farbo

yes

One more add

We started NexBloC to solve a couple of issues. First, we all need an alternative to the centralized way domains are being handled today where censorship and lack of personal data ownership are creating personal privacy issues. Secondly, we are focused on an omnichain approach using the decentralized web to interconnect all chains with a common naming system. I have been in the blockchain space for a long time and saw that the traditional DNS space was ready for disruption so we used past developments like the Butterfly Protocol to accelerate the omnichain direction.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

So can you now tell us what NexBloc is all about anf what are it’s unique features?

Dana Farbo

First – lets start with Blockchain DNS

Dana Farbo

A blockchain DNS (bDNS) is a decentralized DNS system that allows registering, managing, and resolving of domain names using the blockchain. Next Generation Internet (NGI) or Web 3.0 is geared toward improving, enhancing and revolutionizing the Internet and its back-end networks and infrastructure. NGI was launched to develop a faster and more reliable, secure and robust Internet.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

This is the future of internet

Dana Farbo

Now, lets talk about where we fit. We have competitors like Unstoppable Domains and ENS. They are doing really good things

But we blend what each does and are expanding on it

For one, Unstoppable is a commercial operation. Not much community if any except customers

Dana Farbo

ENS is a Community which bends to the will. of the staking leaders

We are a hybrid in that we are very focused on building a huge community and rewarding them

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Awesome

Dana Farbo

and driving the commercial aspects of revenue to help pay for new projects the community agrees on

At the same time, we believe in interoperability and omnichain

Pavel P

This is indeed a great approach!

Dana Farbo

So we are building cross linkages so that a domain on one blockchain can resolve on another as well.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

You’ve put together interesting ideas

Dana Farbo

Necessary for the future of Web 3.0

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

How many people do you have currently working on this project of yours?

Dana Farbo

We have between 15 and 20 at any given time. With teams in India, Mexico, the US, Netherlands and Africa currently

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Well spread out

Dana Farbo

Yes – decentralized like our focus

Pavel P

A dream team! Worldwide catch!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for the Introduction

We have some selected questions from our community members for you, are you ready for them now?

Pavel P

Q1 from Telegram user @Patriarch1010

As we well know the centralized DNS is prone to BGP/routing misconfigurations that unexpectedly results in unavailable servers or services and the biggest flaw is the yearly one. maintenance charges with domains registered in web 2.0-based systems, which today are very prone to being breached. How does the eradication of this problem arise? With NexBloC can I eliminate any charges to third party registries? Does NexBloC allow me full ownership of the domain I am purchasing? What are the requirements to acquire these domains? Can I at the same time rent or sell my domain to other interested parties?

Dana Farbo

Great questions – those could be an AMA in itself

Lets start with the easy ones. You buy a domain on NexBloc, you own it. No renewal fees. It is a NFT and you store it by connecting your wallet. We don’t control at that time. So, you can use it to create a business DApp, a Website with subdomains, etc/

Dana Farbo

You can resell it and place it on NFT marketplaces. Your choice

What we will do is give you tools to utilze it better and better

Think about GoDaddy without an annual renewal fee.

As to Breaches, we all know that technology is constantly being bombarded and that centralized can be prone to breaches mainly from human error or some flaw that gets taken advantage of

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

So true, we’ve seen many centralized systems go down

Dana Farbo

We see it in Blockchain as well as centralized but we see a better system of validating data and authentication using a controlled domain environment than an anonymous hash

I like the idea of hybrid chains where some information that is critical stays off the public chain

But I also see that we will continually need improvement to ensure that gaps in performance and security are filled

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

With regards to this, do you plan to have your own NFT marketplace?

Dana Farbo

Great question and we will have a way to resell NFT’s that are bought from us through us but we are not building an overall competitor to OpenSea or others. We will partner with them rather than compete. However, we will want to help owners of domains and other products we create monetize those through us. For instance, you may want to buy 100 domains and rather than sell then, you may want to rent them. We will help you do that over time.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your Answers

Pavel P

Are the tools that you provide free for those who bought domains?

Dana Farbo

Some tools will be free. Basic setup of a Website and perhaps an email connection. Browser extensions or new browsers, etc. Other services may have a fee based on what they do. For instance, if you are familiar with content pinning services that keep your content relavant may have a subscription. Search may have other components as we index the decentarlized web, etc.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Ready to proceed to the next question now?

Dana Farbo

of course

Pavel P

Q2 from Telegram user @kizzochi

It is said that with the emergence of blockchain technology,an exciting development has taken place in the decentralized world( which is true). And the arrival of the blockchain- based Domain Name System (bDNS) has ushered a new evolution of DNS. Please can you tell us, apart from digital assets being connected to the bDNS, what are other structural and record breaking transformation has bDNS made on the Domain Name System ( DNS) that has been in existence since 1983? In what ways is NexBloc disrupting conventional DNS system? Are you aware that some persons are still using the conventional DNS system? If yes, why do you think they are still using it? And how do you intend introducing the bDNS system to them?

Dana Farbo

thanks – I live for this stuff. I see a big area of growth to be in more localized networks. You might consider it Edge Computing. At the core, we are enabling control of your data world. If we break it down to the home or neighborhood, you can see that a distributed and decentralized DNS system can resolve locally without connection to the cloud

Dana Farbo

So, you control your local, then get more compute power and storage using the neighborhood, then have a dashboard that allows you to port into the cloud or other neighborhoods

We create trustless networks using something like NetFoundry and then we have a scalable “do anything” environment tha can also be partitioned to you or a single device. bDNS keep everything running and allows you to have interfaces to connect data and control it

Now, expand that to a global perspective and you can start to see the power of a hybrid centralized/decentralized world with private and public blockchains all interconnected

The nodes hold data and eventually, everything manamade can become a storage node due to nanotechnology. And we process based on local and global needs using the distributed method of computing…

I could go on. But…done

Pavel P

Seems like you are more than 100% on this tech questions!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Your answer was detailed enough

Dana Farbo

I am the least technical of my team!!!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your answers

Let’s proceed to the next question now

Pavel P

Q3 from Telegram user @Meta_MateX

NexBloc is underlining the importance of its community by BlocHeads exclusively offered to the NexBloc Community as Staking and Participant Rewards. BlocHeads are created for the decentralized community as the only NFT avatar tied to a blockchain domain. You say that they can be earned but I cannot see how. You also mention that BlocHeads can be resold but there’s no mention regarding your Marketplace. Could you share for inputs regarding BlocHeads and their utility for owners as part of community supportive initiative? Thanks!

Dana Farbo

Good question. My avatar here is a BlocHead. We are in creation of them now and will have numerous exclusive and series based. They are hand created by an artist as to the signed version of each. We will have promotions prior to closing our token sale for people to win as well as a growing series of them to earn once we list our token and have the community rewards open through staking and farming, In the Gated Community, you will be able to participate in auctions as well.

So, stay tuned but I suggest everyone go to our site and signup for an account. Everything moving forward will be focused through our site

Even the token stages sales. But we will also feature BlocHeads on other marketplaces too – FYI

Pavel P

SatoshiClubbers, don’t miss a chance!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Great

Dana Farbo

Lots of announcements this week!!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Will there be a specific number of available blocheads?

Dana Farbo

We have a series – Exclusive (Platinum), Gold, Silver, Bronze.

Exclusive is for partners and lucky winners for the artist to take an image you give her and she creates a one of a kind.

100 of those

Gold is where the artist creates a lot of variations and you can choose one. still working on numbers but expect 200 of those.

Silver and Bronze start with a core and add a number of series of each.

We are looking at up to 1000 total of all these for Round 1.

Dana Farbo

Think the Year of the Tiger. We are looking to do a series just around that

100 versions of a Tiger…

Pavel P

So, that is why you are a tiger today!

Pavel P

Not a bear

Dana Farbo

haha – I am a lion but we have a tiger version on the site.

Dana Farbo

And we could do bears too

The artist is a big fan of Elephants

But we also do abstract, sports, etc

Basically, anything inside the Bloc

Pavel P

Yes, I’ve already checked her webstore

Dana Farbo

cool

Pavel P

Thank you for such a detailed answer!

Dana Farbo

Very sustainable and that is why we chose her

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Great Decision . Thank you for your Answers so far

Pavel P

Let’s proceed to the question nr. 4!

Pavel P

Q4 From Telegram User @iceVermithraxx

Talking about the $NEXB token, buyback and burn has been very successful and popular mechanisms in the crypto space which has helped token price appreciation and kept tokens scares However in NexBloc scenario, instead of burning token, they are swapped and returned to the reward pool. Can you explain more on why the NexBloc protocols choose the swapping of tokens and sending them to Reward Pool instead of Burning them/buyback? Can you share more insight on the advantages of Swapping of NEXB tokens and sending them to reward Pool instead of burning them? How would this different NEXB token Protocol help the Price Appreciation of token?

Dana Farbo

Great – We agree that burn can be beneficial. We are reserving burn for mostly usage agains a purchase. By keeping a supply for rewards, we can keep the community supported. Burn eventually should mean a movement to zero. In the future, when we allow domains to be purchased from us, we can take the token and burn it which reduces supply. If we recycle it, then it becomes more like a currency and we don’t want a currency. It should be for earning and governance and rewards but not as a primary currency.

Again, we will have a DAO component that will start to oversee governance on the token sometimes toward the end of this year. It will be in your hands to decide the future of the token when that happens.

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Can you share your roadmap with us?

Pavel P

So, it is possible to introduce burning mechanism if the community decides so?

Dana Farbo

Sure – We are live with minting domains on XDC and soon on Polygon. We are building the usage components now with wallet integrations, storage and usage integrations. It will be about the tools. I suggest everyone to look at GoDaddy. We are benchmarketing GoDaddy in the centralized space and Unstoppable in the blockchain space. But…we have community!

Of course. starting in 2023, I expect the community to have the control over the token. The commercial side will be there as an entity to help fund projects the community agrees upon

Pavel P

And the community is huge! More than 50K members!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Community is the heart of a project

Dana Farbo

We want 100,000 Account Holders by the end of 2022. Help us get there and we will all be happy

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

This is a great target

How many holders do you have at the moment?

Pavel P

Who is not in the NexBloc Telegram group – please join and follow great project!

Dana Farbo

Account Holders are just getting started with about 1000. Followers have not been asked to open an account to date but that is what is happening this week

Because we iwll have a way for people to not only qualify for tokens in our sale but to get Credits to use on our platform.

Dana Farbo

The Credits will never expire and liked to rewards of tokens

That is hoping to start Wednesday

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Great..

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your Answers

Ready for the next question now?

Dana Farbo

yes

Q5 From Telegram User @UniqueVicky

From your medium, it is said that in ensuring the protection of players privacy and unrestricted ownership of metaverse NFT in-game assets, Nexbloc stands as one of the leading entities helping to secure the identities and assets of players. So how will Nexbloc help to secure the identities and assets of players? What gaming culture do you have or have created to ensure players identities and assets will be fully secured? Do you also plan of bringing this metaverse NFT games to Nexbloc to help promote a form of financial model for game players and developers?

Dana Farbo

We see the metaverse world as a part of all our lives within 10 years. We see education being done in the metaverse and immersive learning as part of our lives. Gaming is huge and an early mover in the space. But it needs a way to cross identify assets into many different environments. We have a partnership with Arcade Network to work on bridging using our bDNS for assets and access.

Our belief is that you need the omnichain approach we are taking in order to truly facilitate interaction between spaces, people, assets and devices. We won’t be the only way to do this but we feel that we can allow developers to build using any blockchain and we can use bDNS to create common paths to content and access.

Dana Farbo

Back to one point

Securing identity and assets.

Dana Farbo

Our role is to provide usable ways to identify, authenticate and resolve to the owned or leased asset. When it comes to protecting, our biggest concern is in the human error of exposing your keys, etc. We want to move to biometric authentication too tied to your domain. But in the end, phishing or other ways to put you at risk will be there. We all have to use the most secure methods and beware of scams and fakes..

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

So Asides Arcade Network, what other projects are you partnering with?

Dana Farbo

We have a joint venture with 5ire Chain to bring sustainable ecosystems together.

We have a JV with Plato Blockchain to create the .w3 bTLD and tie all of their data intelligence systems together

We are working with BCypher on a data security project

And several others including HyFi Blockchain, XinFin and more

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

You have great Partnerships

Pavel P

Partners believe in NexBloc!

Dana Farbo

With XinFin and XDC, we are working with StorX as an alternative to Filecoin while still usng IPFS and Filecoin ourselves

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your Answers

Let’s proceed to the last question for this part

Dana Farbo

ok

Pavel P

Q6 From Telegram User @Danniblaiz

You recently conducted an Airdrop campaign with a total reward pool of 30000 NEXB to be Airdroped to qualified participants. I didn’t discover on time because I saw the advert just few days ago and I discovered that winners have emerged already. This is an awesome way to reward the community for their active participation and support. From your tokenomics, I discovered that 25% of the Total Supply of NEXB is allocated for COMMUNITY REWARDS which is equivalent to 22M NEXB for the community. This is a huge supply. I would like to know if there will be subsequent such Airdrop campaigns in the future? Aside Airdrop, what other ways will this 25% allocated supply be distributed to the community? How can I take part in the community participation? Are you active on all social media platforms?

Dana Farbo

i will answer this quickly to get to next round. We have more airdrops planned so signup and stay tuned. And we believe in community so yes, the rewards part is large. With the movement to a DAO, expect part of the Treasury allocation to support community projects and rewards too. Staking and Farming will be a large part of rewards…

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your Answers in this first part of our AMA

We will now proceed to the second part where our Members will ask you their questions directly

Are you ready for them?

Pavel P

Let’s see the FIRE!

Jonah πŸ…πŸŽΉ | Satoshi Club

The chat will be opened for 120 secs after which you will select 10 questions

Dana Farbo

Great!!

Part 2 β€” live questions from the Telegram community

Q1 from Telegram user @Gemshunter22

Where is NEXB available for buy and what are the exchange listings you have completed?Do you have also listings plan on top tier exchange like Binance in the future?

Dana Farbo

Love this. We will hold our Private – Public sale on our site and then list on exchanges starting with pancakeSwap. Expect late Marc/Early April

Q2 from Telegram user @AugusS7

You point out that the full potential of web 3 DeFi can be unleashed if the use of bDomain is taken to all the chains and providing the tools to create value, but is this really the only way to unleash the full potential? If so, then only NexBloc will only be able to achieve it since this technology can only be used by you right?

Dana Farbo

We beleive that all ships rise as the participants build out bDNS. We will strive to be #1 but will also collaborate with others. The opportunities are hiuge

Q3 from Telegram user @Marcos2002

I Would Like to Know that Is Users From Every Country Can Participate in
the NEXBLOC Suppose I From INDIA , Can I Still be Able to Join ?

Dana Farbo

India for sure. We always say look at the rules for your country. Because we are selling Credits and you get $NEXB tokens as well, we feel every country can participate. However, we do state that cetain countries like the US, Iran and a couple of others may not have access to their tokens as soon as others.

Q4 from Telegram user @jirencrypto

Can you tell us a little bit about the domain prices within NexBloc, what do the prices depend on the type of domain extension we use?

Dana Farbo

Great – our prices are probably lower than anyone. We start as low as $25 but go up based on factors such as length and premium status

Q5 from Telegram user SHao_kha

Marketing strategy part of every project, as it confirms that everyone understands the value of project has to offer and that the goals established are achieved. What is your strategy for attracting new users and investors to your platform and important to keep them success??

Dana Farbo

Huge – marketing will be a large focus as we drive account openiings. Development is the biggest expense and then awareness to drive usage will come

Q6 from Telegram user @Mizanurrah

Current NFT is a hot topic, but are NFT not just for art. Does your project think that more real world use cases will emerge for NFTs as time goes on, why should we take NFTs seriously?

Dana Farbo

Each domain is an NFT so yes, we believe many use cases will come about. Asset trading using NFT’s for money movemwent too

Q7 from Telegram user @highpee

You have hinted that you will soon start Credits reward system that will never expire. How will users benefit or get credits and what will they be able to do with it? Will this be like a secondary token?

Dana Farbo

Starting Wednesday, Account Holders will be able to buy Credits and get rewarded with tokens right from our site. Sign Up and participate!

Q8 from Telegram user @Mizanurrah

Can you explain, which one is your top priority? Security, Product, Partnership, or Token price?

Dana Farbo

Wow – all important. Security and Product come first. If we have a bad product that is weak with security, partnerships and token won’t matter because the business will be at risk.

Q9 from Telegram user π—ͺ𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 π—–π—Άπ˜π˜† ❀️❀️❀️

How to present your NEXB token to non-crypto users? How do you plan to attract non-crypto users to your project?

Dana Farbo

Best way is to make the products and tools usable for non-crypto. I think of NBA Topshots as an example of appealing to non-crypto. We need to be easy and usable

Q10 from Telegram user @Kabirkapoor9

Can you please differentiate NexBloc from ENS which is currently in dominate position in Web 3.0 domain name services?
How will you compete with them?

Dana Farbo

I love ENS but currently they are focused on the ethereum space. Unless they can get to low cost of gas (promised) usage will be low. Domain purchases may be good but outside of a wallet address, not much else

Part 3 – Quiz Results

As usual, for the third part, Satoshi Club Team asked the chat 4 questions about the crypto project. A link to a Quiz form was sent into the chat.
