YARLOO x Satoshi Club AMA Recap from 30th of October

Welcome to another episode of our AMA series. Today we are glad to tell you about the AMA session with our friends from Yarloo, a gaming platform full of products using NFT and DeFi technology as well as our very own RST. The AMA took place on October 30 and our guests was Ham Sparrow – CEO & Founder of Yarloo.

The total reward pool was 500$ and was divided into three parts. In this AMA Recap we will try to summarize some of the most interesting points for you.

PART 1, INTRODUCTION AND COMMUNITY QUESTIONS

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Greetings dear Satoshi Club❤️ We are pleased to announce AMA with Yarloo. Our guest speaker today is @hamsparrow CEO & Founder of Yarloo.

Ham Sparrow: Hello everyone!

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Тo warm up tell us about yourself: how did you involved in crypto and Yarloo?

Ham Sparrow: I was first introduced to crypto back in 2017 as a writer for other crypto companies that apparently don’t exist anymore, haha – but then I later got promoted in a marketing agency I’ve been working for in the U.S and became Director of Operations, which enabled me to learn so much about project management, properly understanding the fundamentals of marketing and how to properly captivate an audience.

This is when I first entered crypto with my first project, memeunity, in January of 2021 and now Yarloo! Both companies are under ownership of a holding company known as Blkbirds Collective, which I’ll share more about later on in the future as soon as its foundation and paperwork is ready. But yeah – I mainly come from a marketing/operations background, and that’s where I’m at now!

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Great background, so let’s talk about Yarloo, in a nutshell what is Yarloo?

Ham Sparrow: Yarloo’s a company that builds P2E and NFT-based video games within an ecosystem designed to sustain bear markets. Our first game is Pirateers, a trading card game which utilizes different versions of NFTs that can be fused together (burned) to upgrade into a much more powerful and rarer version. Our ecosystem is powerful thanks to a feature we call RST, or Revenue Sharing Token – which is basically the distribution of 30% of our net profits over 5 pillars that will sustain our project.

RST is allocated towards the following pillars:

  1. Seed & Private Investors
  2. Holders
  3. Buybacks & Burns
  4. LP Providers
  5. P2E Pool

That way we ensure that corrections are never too harsh.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: You mention holders, what are the benefits you provide for long term holders?

Ham Sparrow: They will receive an allocation of the company’s profits that is proportional to how much they hold and for how long. Selling will always result in RST giving you less profits.

Q1 from Telegram User @Billz120

Yarloo.io (On Your Roadmap), we understand in this Q4 of 2021 is your First CEX listing, more partnership & Team expansion, NFTShore launch as well as Yarloo’s Battleships showcase and by Q1 2022, Battleships open Beta & release. The First seasonal implementation for TCG with proposed additional improvements to coffers (Swaps/New Networks). Now could you please tell us enthusiasts from the above, when your first CEX Listing will be out in this Q 4 2021 if it has not yet taking into cognizance the fact there are just few more days left in Q 4. 2021? And could also speak to us enthusiasts more about your proposed NFTShore Launch and the distinction between $ YARL and NFTShore? Thanks.

Ham Sparrow: We’re discussing with a very well-known CEX at the moment the potential of listing YARL, and our advisors/partners are speeding up the process. We estimate that the CEX will list either by late Nov or early Dec.

NFTShore is essentially an NFT marketplace that commissions 1.5% from all sales there, and it has a special API hooked to it which we will use to implement in any game we create for easy access and synchronization between our NFTs everywhere so that everyone can use it regardless of whether they’re playing one of our games or just browsing the marketplace itself directly. YARL will play a key element there as it will be enabling users to list certain items, quantities, and give discount privileges.

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: By the way, the graphics of your website are very funny and the team members are depicted as cartoon characters. please tell us about your team. By the way, the graphics of your website are very funny and the team members are depicted as cartoon characters. Please tell us about your team.

Ham Sparrow: Why, thank you! We take pride in this as it’s goofy but also wholesome at the same time, and btw, it will tie in to the lore of the game we’re building.

Our team’s international, with people who had been in this space since 2012, coming from all backgrounds, nationalities, and experiences. As of now, there are 13 of us, but we’re growing by the day, and I think there will be 20 crew members aboard the Yarloo ship sooner than later, hah!

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Will users have to pass any kind of KYC to use the marketplace? Btw how do you verify the authenticity of the NFTs?

Ham Sparrow: Because NFTShore is a niche marketplace unlike Opensea, meaning we won’t be trying to have it as an “open market” – it will be solely to serve our ecosystem, and we can verify the NFTs because every single NFT there will have had to be minted directly through our engine.

Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Oh, we’re not! You can slide over our photos and you can see our LinkedIn and Github accounts, lol – and myself as CEO have gone public just a week ago, and so did my partner. We’re 100% doxxed and anyone can verify our identities if they wish. 🙂

Q2 from Telegram User @Jmagsss

I’ve been following Yarloo since August this year and was surprised to discover that the nature of your project have changed. Initially, Yarloo was supposed to be a decentralized betting platform where users can play casino games and gamble. However, today I can see that Yarloo transitioned from a betting platform into a blockchain card game platform. What was the reason behind the transition of your project’s nature? Were the initial goal and roadmap from the previous version of Yarloo are still visible today?

Ham Sparrow: The reason behind the transition was purely legal. There were too many hiccups that may have caused the company to fail, so we decided to pivot in the last minute. And it wasn’t a major shift since we still use our games based on the same structure, but have taken away the lottery aspect and repurposed our products to serve a P2E system instead.

Q3 from Telegram User @Pavel_Jarosh

Yarloo introduced a card system with 5 types of cards ranked as: petty, bronze, silver, gold and sapphire. Logically the holders of sapphire cards should have more benefits within the project, please specify what are they? Is it also possible to collect all 5 cards together? Can these cards be bought or sold on your marketplace? Thank you!

Ham Sparrow: Holders of sapphire cards don’t have any benefits, that is false – but holding a sapphire is beneficial in terms of its value. It is more powerful gameplay-wise and is worth more money if they’d like to sell it/trade it. And you can certainly collect all 5 tiers if you wish to. They will be tradable on our NFTShore later on and users can do it themselves. We’ll also offer NFT Booster Pack sales through INOs which will enable users to collect cards early on!

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: What are the usecases of each card? Or they are only for collection?

Ham Sparrow: They can be used solo or as part of a collection, that is 100% up to the users themselves. And the main use-case will be in our trading card game, similar to Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Gwent, etc. They’re purely gameplay-based. Another use-case is if someone wishes to trade/sell them via our marketplace.

Here’s an example of a sapphire card called Baba Yaga from our Voodoo Card Pack. It has 10 HP, 5 ATTACK and a unique passive as highlighted in the description. It’s an extremely powerful card.

Q4 from Telegram User @SanoMario

$ YARL tokens in Polygon and BSC, what is the Yarloo administration based on when choosing wallets? Are you planning to partner with other wallets? Can you tell me why you choose these networks initially Polygon and BSC? Are you planning to integrate other blockchains as well in the future? Will you see a pre-sale of the $ YARL token soon if yes, what would be the minimum amount we must have to buy? How many $ YARL tokens are allocated for opening?

Ham Sparrow: I’m not sure about partnering with a wallet… question isn’t clear here, but we chose BSC and Poly because they’re the most user-friendly in terms of TXINs paid, and they can be scaled and sustained in our games and ecosystem. We do plan to integrate SOLANA and CARDANO later on, as well as ETH depending on how well it performs and if it starts decreasing the fees a bit. – As for presale, we already sold out all our funding rounds and are way beyond this point atm.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Great answer. I think we can talk about your wallet, how many coins are supported and which benefits it provides?

Ham Sparrow: All BEP-20 and ERC-20 tokens will be supported, and we will have staking options for YARL and can onboard staking for other companies as well if they wish to partner with us for this solution.

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Any sneak peek about the APR of the staking program?

Ham Sparrow: So far they can get up to 80% – but we’re still checking if we could increase that, all boils down to our scalability and reserves!

Q5 from Telegram User @victorogb

As a way of incentivizing and promoting community engagement, Yarloo currently runs a Meme Contest which is its first in a series of planned community events. Can you carefully provide us with an expansive detail on this contest, how can we join in and what are the basic requirements? I also noticed that the prize ranges from monetary rewards to unique NFT cards. How can participants therefore increase their winning chances? Also, what other social contests and community event does Yarloo plan to rollout in the coming months, and what are your plans to grow your community of users?

Ham Sparrow: Regarding the contest, it would be best to check back in @yarloochat as our CMO was the sole organizer of the entire event and I unfortunately didn’t manage to take a look at all the details surrounding it, so not the best person to ask, hah! However, we do plan to start more events for the community, and giving incentives for people to join our Crypto Sailors special program for those who help bring value to our community and company and help us push forward. We’ll likely hold a weekly contest quite soon as well to keep everyone engaged!

Andrés M. | Satoshi Club: Btw, could you share us the tokenomics of $YARL?

Ham Sparrow: https://yarloo.io/tokenomics

Q6 from Telegram User @Asela1112

According to Yarloo Twitter source, $YARL token has been launched through a IDO with initial price of $0.35 on TrustPad, Bullperks & Astronaut Token Launchpads. How was it going? Can you give a brief description in a nutshell about this IDO? How many participants were interacting in Your IDO on the three of Launchpads? How will the vesting schedule take place? How much did you fund through the IDO event from all of Launchpads & What will you do with that funds? Do you use those funds for marketing?

Ham Sparrow: The IDOs was sold out fairly quickly, thankfully. We had interactions over 1 million participants who wanted to whitelist. We received $350,000 from the IDO sale. These funds in particular are being used for liquidity and CEX listings.

The chat was open for 120 seconds; a lot of questions were posted by Satoshi Club community. Our guest chose some of them.

May you tell about Coffers and Chests of Fortune? About both of this, why we need use your Coffers wallets? And chests of fortune are a lootbox who obtainable depending the users want… so can you tell us how we obtain this lootbox and what exactly inside it?

Ham Sparrow: You will need Coffers because it ties in to our ecosystem and will be updated to support NFT farming, and extra NFT rewards for staking, which would not be possible if we were to use normal wallets, etc. As for Chests of Fortune, it is a lootbox system where you can buy (or earn) chests that give you NFTs, or YARL, or extra keys!

Q4 from Telegram user @Carryone

Since there is a Gasless transaction in Yarloo. How do you earn revenues? How does it sustain the economy?

Ham Sparrow: We have a huge business model that can generate us revenue through NFT sales, NFTShore commissions and a tournament commission from gameplay, and way, way more. As well as Chests of Fortune.

Q5 from Telegram user @Kabirkapoor9

How much users have to spend initially to purchase NFTs to play Yarloo? Is it possible to take in-game NFTs on rent for temporary purpose?

Ham Sparrow: The max you will have to pay for a booster pack will be $100 – and we will make sure to have accessible cards and gameplay elements without them being too expensive. The expensive aspect will come from the rareness of items moving forward as the NFT burn commences.
