Happy to be here

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

We are Glad to have you all here

Let’s start our AMA

Pavel P

So, the whole team is here now! Great!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Can you please introduce yourselves to us, how you got into crypto, and how wasder started?

Thomas Wasder

Absolutely!

Thomas Wasder

So my name is Thomas, I am the CEO & founder of Wasder – which I founded back in 2017 together with some of my business partners.

In 2018 – we brought in our first equity investors, and have since then brought in massive institutional investors & billionares on the shareholding side, and one of the best teams I have ever seen.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Awesome

Thomas Wasder

So I am insanely privileged to be able to work with people from massive successes like LeoVegas, Reebok, CandyCrush, Spotify, etc.

Our CPO was the Lead Producer for Candy Crush, our CTO the CTO for LeoVegas, @sam6ft9 can introduce himself, same with Florian

Pavel P

Quite a long history behind!

Thomas Wasder

We started Wasder because we wanted to build a company that can cause positive change in people’s lives, through the power of gaming

Florian

I’m Florian, I’ve been a games designer for 15+ years now, working on anything from AAA to free-to-play mobile, VR and AR for the likes of Ubisoft, Sega, Activision King, Rovio and EA and many more. I bridge the space between business and game design and I’m taking care of the Game of Wasder and anything gamification and economy at Wasder.

Sam

Sure thing! I come from a long backgrounds of sales and marketing, originally in the music industry and artist management. I built an agency that I sold, and then I started my first blockchain company in 2016, together with an AI company. I was lucky enough to hear about Ethereum early on, and have been heavily involved in crypto, crypto investing, crypto trading and advising tons of companies on their strategies for the last 7 years. I run a fund and have been on the investment side for years, but Thomas came along and convinced me to come out of work retirement and come change the world of social media with gaming, and here we are

Thomas Wasder

We do this by building a social gaming microverse, which is basicly a modern social media with a much more complete experience and more dimensions then what has historicly been created in social environments.

I think thats a good enough intro ? hehe

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

You all have very impressive backgrounds

Pavel P

100% agree!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

How many people do you have currently working on this project?

Thomas Wasder

25 people fulltime

Thomas Wasder

And we are adding another 15 people

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Great..

Thomas Wasder

Plus we obviously also have our advisors and mentors and partners too

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Very important to have

Can you tell us what Wasder is all about?

Thomas Wasder

Absolutely!

Thomas Wasder

Wasder is a social gaming microverse – which means that we are a combination of a modern social gaming platform, what we call game Spaces, and The Game of Wasder, which is full game mechanics built into a social media.

What that means is that we cover multiple different dimensions of your user experience

The first dimension being everything that relates to people 2 people, and how you interract with others. Content, communication, finding friends, building communities etc

The second dimension is around exploration and information, which means how you find your new favorite game, blockchain games, metaverses and all the information and quality of life solutions that make it easier to engage with them

And the third dimension is the Game of Wasder – which Florian can elaborate on now

Florian

The idea behind the Game of Wasder (GOW for short) is that we are taking gamification to next level compared to any other social platform. Because we only attract games players, we can be a lot of interesting and entertaining in what we do. For example, we will have a seasonal pass that allows you to gain new time-limited blockchain rewards from our partners. We also want to reduce toxicity in the games community, which is why being a good person on Wasder is directly rewarded.

Thomas Wasder

Yeah so I think that covers the basics of what we are about

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Thank you for the great introduction

Pavel P

Perfect! Thank you!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Right now we will like to proceed to our community questions are you ready for them?

Thomas Wasder

Definately

Pavel P

Q1 from Telegram User @Cheriemike

Two unique features that will be coming up in WASDER attracted me which are “Friends Hub” and the creation of “Guild”.So can you tell us what will be the space capacity in each hub?And will there be some kind of code in my hub to invite friends and family to the game am playing or will it just be some random players that will join my Hub?Will there be some kinds of rules/punishment in the Hub?For building a better Guild, you made mention that Superior member management systems and visual community hierarchies are part of the features in your guild. Can you briefly tell us about the superior member management systems and it features including the community visual hierarchies and its benefits? Please kindly talk about the community badges in the guild users will build and the benefits of building a Guild with WASDER.Thanks

Thomas Wasder

Sure, let me get to that!

Thomas Wasder

I will answer this question on a current and a future perspective.

Currently: The friends hub helps you gather your friends at Wasder in one place.

As we are building out the functionality of squads/guilds, we want it to be a seamless experience in how you can invite and manage your friends across the product and for different type of functionality.

Thomas Wasder

Guilds & Communities have always been a big part of how gamers operate and organize themselves, and includes key aspects from creating a joint identity, to branding & growing your guild, to organizing it with member management, and communicating in a good way.

After that comes all the ways you reward your members, track activity, create events internally  in order to keep everyone happy.

We develop these behaviors in stages – meaning that we start with the most crucial of the behaviors, and then build the solutions in slices, rather then in one big chunk.

The way that we build in slices is around:

Guild identity -> Growth & Recruitment -> Member Management & Hierarchies -> Communication & Events -> Reward mechanics and challenges.

Which means, you will it as a small feature that grows and grows and grows.

Thomas Wasder

In addition – since Wasder is mobile first, the experience has to be seamless and simple to use.

We see most of these things as behaviors – rather then a specific detail function of a feature, and we work with concept artists, to designers (UI & UX), and iterate in phases to make sure that it works well within the user experience and our brand.

When it comes to community badges – a big part of any community or guild, is sharing a joint identity and joint goals, and badges is one way of doing that publicly!

We all want to show off which guilds we belong too – as its part of recruitment, branding and personal pride!

Now – we are also going to take this concept even further, but more on that later.

Obviously – those badges would be very cool NFTs to have, that each guild control

I think that should cover the basics, so that people dont have to read a wall of text

Pavel P

What a huge answer and so detailed!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

You’ve provided well detailed answers to clear up this question

Thank you for your Answers

Pavel P

Q2 from Telegram User @Anne_Tim

When reading about your project, I noticed you mentioning that Wasder token ecosystem was created to incentivize users to continue using existing, and testing new functionality. You call it a circular economy, with a whole bunch of exciting ways to both earn and spend tokens. Could you reveal the elements of Wasder ecosystem which comprise the whole project? What are the ways to earn and spend tokens within this ecosystem? Thank you!

Florian

One of the key elements for us being a blockchain ecosystem and a token economy was to actually provide utility. There are a lot of projects out there that simply “add crypto”, and we didn’t want to be one of them.

So as you know I’ve been an economy designer most of my life, looking at large scale game economies. And I thought, we can take all these learnings from these billion dollar projects onto other types of digital products.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Absolutely.. Utility is a major ingredient that drives the token economy

Florian

What we are doing ist that anything you do on Wasder, whether it’s posting great content, engaging with partners and players, or simply for being nice to other platform users, you are rewarded within the ecosystem. In turn, and that’s how it’s circular, you spend your rewards on the platform to kit yourself out with new seasonal stickers, 3D assets etc that are created with our featured partners. So we are ensuring that our token sees constant increasing use. It’s a full game loop, where you gain to spend and spend to gain.

Thomas Wasder

In other words – we want it to be recognisable to gamers in terms of behavior, in a fun and rewarding way

Pavel P

Could you also share your tokenomics?

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Btw What tokens do you give out as rewards?

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Excellent

Florian

WAS tokens – which you can turn into NFT and other items

Sam

Sure, you can read the tokenomics here: https://www.wasder.gg/token-info/

Sam

WAS tokens

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Thank you for sharing

Thomas Wasder

The WAS tokens is a path to the rewards they actually want to get and hold and use, hence why WAS is the crucial key component

That should cover it

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Clearly understood

Thank you for your Great answers

Ready now for the next question?

Thomas Wasder

Yep!

Sam

let’s go!

Pavel P

Q3 from Telegram User @NKUDM

I read that staking Wasder Lp is live and there are amazing, rare and unique rewards for users who stake tokens with Wasder. I understand you have two staking pools , liquidity staking and single staking. You mentioned that liquidity staking is only available for 60 dyas with an APY of 360% from total supply. The pool rewards are capped at 10M and it is first come first served. Since it’s 60 days period of staking,do we still stand a chance of participating? Is it too late to join? What are the requirements to stake your token? Does the single staking pool also has the same period of 60 days? Could you please tell us the amazing and rare reward you said stakers of your token will have?. Please give us more details of your staking protocols. Thank you

Sam

Great question! We decided to divide up the LP Token staking into 2×30 day staking periods, because we assumed people would miss out on the first one after hearing about it. So to give everyone a chance, once the first 30 days unlock, you will be able to stake LP tokens again for 30 days. The first pool filled up quickly, so it’s first come first serve!

The requirements are that you provide liquidity on Uniswap (ETH/WAS), and that you then stake your LP tokens on our page (https://www.wasder.gg/token-staking/).

The single asset staking pools will be for a longer period of time (180 days and 360 days), and we will reveal more details very soon. You can also read more on the link above.

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

We will be on the lookout for this as well

Sam

The staking contracts are built by our friends at Ferrum, who have done a lot of them for several big companies and projects. You can read more about the rewards on the link above, but we have everything from super exciting exclusive functionality, to epic NFTs to fully paid travels and visits to the Wasder HQ in Stockholm!

Thomas Wasder

I will say this – some of the rewards for single asset staking is absolutely  bonkers!

All I have to say – look at them, and then look at the quality of our existing partnerships (Dino Warriors / Dimitri Vegas, who is one of the biggest DJs on the planet) and then imagine what some of those rewards will be

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Your rewards are very exciting I must say

Thomas Wasder

but yeah, that covers it

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Awesome.. Great answers so far guys

Pavel P

Pretty sure our community is already excited about the opportunity

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Thank you Guys

Ready for the next question now?

Thomas Wasder

Yes sir!

Q4 From Telegram User @iceVermithraxx

I noted that users can create a party chat and also earn tokens for hosting tournaments on Wasder platform. Can you elaborate more on Party Chat and tournaments on Wasder Platform? I also noted that Player can challenge other party chat, can you explain more on this? What is the minimum and maximum amount of users that can join a Party Chat and Also Tournaments? What are the requirements for users to Create Party Chat and Host Tournaments on Wasder Platform? Can you also explain on how users can earn tokens from Hosting Tournaments in Wasder? what are the tokens which users can earn from hosting tournaments?

Thomas Wasder

Sure, let me try to elaborate on this

The Party chats are the way we have approached chats. Since communication is a crucial part of what you do at Wasder, we have our own way for handling that. Parties can be created in different ways and for different purposes, and in the future on of those purposes will be to have a battle against another party, fun right?

As of today, anyone can create a party chat and there will be different limitations on numbers of members depending on the purpose of that party chat and how they connect with communities and future guilds.

There are a whole lot of things we can do with the combination of user-hosted tournaments and tokens. The simplest one is running tournaments for token wagers. But because users OWN anything they gain on Wasder, people can put up tournaments for their own NFT as well!

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Exciting

Thomas Wasder

I think that covers that

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

What will be the requirements to create a party chat?

Thomas Wasder

Any user can create a party chat – but with a limit to how many players are in, and some limits to the purposes of it.

Think of it like a “basic” group on most social medias, but that covers the basic needs that you have

and then you can upgrade that functionality – based on what your future needs are, and what you want to turn it into

And obviously based on who you are – publishers / developers will have access to more functions in their chats

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

This is an Exciting Idea

Thank you for your Answers Thomas!

Will you like to proceed to the next question?

Thomas Wasder

Yeah lets go !

Pavel P

Q5 From Telegram User @GracieEne

As I read through, I noticed that it is because of how events are fun, big or small that made WASDER decide to work on making event management easy and powerful for everyone. You mentioned that you can’t wait to put your event management tool in the hands of the communities, gamers, brands and publishers. Please can you elaborate more on the event management tool on WASDER? For how long are players expected to wait before they can have access to the event management tool of WASDER and is this tool easy to use? Are users expected to pay for the event management tool before they can make use of it? This event management tool according to you will be able to create, manage and showcase all kinds of events. What are the features this tool possess that will enable it create, manage and showcase all kinds of events?

Thomas Wasder

Sure!

Events are a huge part of gaming behavior – and something that we think is highly relevant for numerous usergroups, from streamers, to guilds, to small groups and parties, to publishers and developers and brands.

We solve these in very different ways for each group – and they will look and feel different in use and feel depending on which group you belong too.

You will most likely start seeing versions of this around Q2/Q3 this year for some of these usergroups, and then more types of event functionalities later.

Think of it as the ability to create events, choose who participates, how you reward them, what it costs, and how you generate awareness around these events, but that the way we build it is customized to how YOUR needs would be, depending if you are a consumer, a guild or a developer or brand.

Hope that makes sense

Pavel P

Was Wasder fully audited?

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Makes so much sense

Sam

yes, of course

by our friends at Zokyo

you can read the full audit report on our website

and all our staking contracts are from Ferrum and also fully audited

Pavel P

Great!

Thomas Wasder

For the record – audited in Sweden makes me think of the tax agencies. That word makes me shiver

Thomas Wasder

But for blockchain its obviously a great thing

Sam

Remember, Wasder is based in Sweden, a fully regulated EU country, so we have to do everything by the books

Thomas Wasder

And as a company we actually make sure we operate in a way where even the tax agencies loves us

Sam

and with the big name investors, even more so

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Yes.. gives confidence to investors

Thomas Wasder

Even if we dont love the tax agencies

Sam

lol

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Ha ha

Pavel P

No one loves them

Florian

I mean I’m from Germany, our tax agencies are legendary.

Pavel P

But that’s a huge part of security

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Thank you Guys for your Answers

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Let’s proceed to the last question for part 1

Pavel P

Q6 From Telegram User @victorogb

It’s interesting to learn how Wasder has continued to grow and expand with time. Recently, there has been a series of partnerships, upgrades and marketing campaigns. Wasders has had dedicated advertorial displays accross social media and some strategic cities and business hubs; noticeable among this was that done at Times Square New York. Appreciating the efforts put in so far, how will you describe Wasder’s growth (marketing) strategies for the calendar year, 2022; what partners and collaborations will Wasder look to build in order to increase the desire to build strong and sustainable gaming guilds? Also, can you give us a rundown of notable features, products and services implemented thus far, how will it encourage better user and community engagement?

Thomas Wasder

Sure! Sami can cover portions of this, and il take some of it

Sam

Great question! To start with, Wasder has a partnership with Google for growth, so we will definitely scale up that starting next month. Our growth strategy consists of a mix or direct acquisition strategies (social/programmatic), ambassador strategies and press/partnerships. Obviously, with the newly announced partnership with Dino Warriors and the creator, mega DJ Dimitri Vegas, we are setting the standard for which level we will play on. We are continuously looking to partner with game studios and developers, artists and creators, gaming guilds and teams etc. to grow.

Sam

https://www.newswire.com/news/wasder-announces-collaboration-with-alien-samurai-dino-warriors-21659062?_ga=2.173368611.1080532438.1647450715-418000970.1647450715

Thomas Wasder

As for product features, obviously we’ve been promoting the Party Play feature where people can find new friends to play with. We also have our Game Spaces where our users can connect with game developers and studios, plus get exclusive access to beta keys (and future drops). We have a lot of very cool functionality planned, and in our Telegram group, we’ve shared concept images of our upcoming interactive user profiles where you can show off NFTs.

Florian

Of course, our big one is the Game of Wasder, which is the full gamification of our whole microverse. If you behave well, complete tasks and quests, you will get rewarded with very exclusive rewards and NFTs that you will never be able to get somewhere else.

So for the record, seasons are concepts where we partner with a studio or brand to provide rewards that never come back.

Thomas Wasder

When it comes to how we build features, we build the company in a syncronized way. Meaning that the features we make, are built to work along the target audience we have in each phase, and the type of business partners & publishers we have in each phase of the company. You can see the attached image for how we think around these things – Obviously I have removed the ACTUAL name of the target audiences & partner types, in order to not give away a competitive advantage.

But rest assured – we build gradually through the gaming industry in order to create massive mainstream adoption – and to show the gaming world how incredible this tech is.

But this is the basics of how the company grows through gaming

But without giving away the business secrets

Alright, done

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Thank you for your detailed response

This brings us to the end of this first part

We will now like to proceed to the second part where our members will ask you their questions directly

Jonah 🏅🎹 | Satoshi Club

Are you ready for them?

Thomas Wasder

yes!

Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community

Q1 from Telegram user @iabal1994

IS This Your project only for elite investors, how about others with small funds, is it open to everyone???

Sam

Absolutely not, on the contrary, this is for gamers. That’s why we’re building it all on Solana to minimize fees.

Q2 from Telegram user @jameslekan664

Hello WASDER team!

Looking through the features currently present on WASDER, I got to notice that Desktop users have access to more features over mobile phone users..Why does the Desktop support more features over the mobile apps? Are there any plans in expansion of the features currently supported by the mobile app?..A few days ago, you had announced about the release of version 1.2.72.. Can you tell us about the various improvements that was made on the initial version?

Sam

I’d say the opposite, mobile users have access to more things, as we haven’t really focused on the web version as much.

Q3 from Telegram user @NAZMP2

Alien Samurai Dino Warriors and Dimitri Vegas have teamed up with Wasder. Could you tell us more about your collaboration with them? What benefits could it provide to your ecosystem and users?

Sam

Absolutely! Dino Warriors is our first announced exclusive feature on our upcoming battle pass, which means our users can earn exclusive rewards. Dimitri Vegas has also promised to challenge a lucky user to a game of his choice, and that event will be streamed on our Twitch!

Q4 from Telegram user @Deberem

Will Wader have any issue with regulation in future as most countries don’t accept operation of certain apps? And do you have legal team and strong backers of your project?. Please let us know

Sam

I don’t foresee any issues, we have legal teams on our side and our app is not a crypto app, it’s a social microverse

Q5 from Telegram user @RahulAmbani5

I have never heard this name Wasder before tho it’s sounds cool. Could you tell us the meaning of this name?

Thomas Wasder

Hey Rahul,
So the name Wasder actually comes from the keys that gamers use on their keyboard when they play!
In most massive games – WASD is the movement keys, E is typicly USE (opening doors, picking up stuff) and R is reload !
So we wanted something that was inherently connected to games!

Q6 from Telegram user @iam12312

Is Wasder Platform also suitable for content creators as well as Gamers?
How have you Build the platform? Can you please tell?

Florian

We are committed to capturing all of video gaming’s ecosystem. This includes games players, community managers, streamers and anyone else who lives and breathes this ecosystem. Because these behaviours tap into our economy, content creators can directly monetise themselves by gaining WAS from fans (and us) as well as sell their own NFT via us.

Q7 from Telegram user @Nensam

I can read from the website “that through space, we can get all the content from your favourite game”. Can you throw more light in the statement and where can we locate these contents?. Are they paid or subscribed for? And for what duration? Please give more details

Sam

We do not have a subscription structure, it’s free to join and you can connect with game studios and developers on the Game Spaces. Check it out in your app!

Q8 from Telegram user @messilolz

I want to know about team experience and your business revenue model? do you have raised any funds till now?

Sam

This is by far the most experienced team I’ve ever seen – everyone in the executive team has done multi billion dollar projects. Actually, none of them actually HAVE to work, which is even more inspiring that they choose to and with Wasder. And yes, Wasder has raised funds through traditional equity rounds, with some big name investors.

Q9 from Telegram user @green_456

Is Voting Rights have been given to the Community Members and Users , Do You have Launched the DAO Governance platform , and Is Governance Token has been launched ?

Sam

We have no plans on launching a DAO or a governance token at this point.

Q10 from Telegram user @Kabirkapoor9

From Investor’s perspective, can you please share the details on daily increase in userbase and Sign ups on Wasder? And how much time they spend on Wasder?

Thomas Wasder

Absolutely!
So right now Wasder has more then 500 000 downloads on Google Play alone, and we have more then 550 000 users fully registered.
We are about to go into a hypergrowth phase, with our partners at google, and we will be adding around 500k-1 million users a month going forward. Obviously viral growth is a key component for us, and part of our functionality and the Game of Wasder is obviously based on that. When it comes to how much time they spend on Wasder, right now its around 10 minutes a day, which is actually quite good for a social media, but we are working on getting that up as we create a product that gives more and more value for the users, and they have an even better experience

Part 3 – Quiz Results

As usual, for the third part, Satoshi Club Team asked the chat 4 questions about the crypto project. A link to a Quiz form was sent into the chat.
