Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Today our guest is @jvizer 😊 hello and welcome to satoshi club, @jvizer ❤️

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Let’s check this introductory video about gamestar

Josh:

Hi all

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

How are you today josh? Sorry for the delay

Josh:

No problem, doing great!

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Nice to e-meet you ❤️

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Happy to know that, please introduce yourself, we want to know more about you as ceo of gamestar😃

Josh:

Thanks!  I’m the founder and worked in crypto for 4 years nowю I was at the largest global p2p bitcoin trading platform for several years. Gamestar is a decentralised p2p trading platform for game items, gift cards and gaming NFTs

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Wow great crypto experience🔥

By the way, your website is beautiful😍

https://www.gamestar.exchange/

Josh:

Thanks

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

So, pass these words to your designers 😁

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Similar to steam? Or which projects do you consider as your main competitors?

Josh:

It’s similar to local bitcoins, except decentralized. Users can self-custody their funds

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

And most important what features make gamestar different and better?😁

Josh:

They can trade steam gift cards, mobile legends diamonds and much much more. We are different in that users self-custody assets in a p2p trading environment. And have developed a trustless way to arbitrate disputes as well

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Oh great, a good way to use our cryptos

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

This is an important point

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Which payment methods do you accept?

Josh:

Initially, payment will be for bitcoin or busd. In exchange for game items, gift cards, game NFTs etc.

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Well, thanks a lot for the introduction about the project. We have collected 6 community questions to learn more about the gamestar. Ready to go?🥳

Josh:

Yes

Preselected questions about the Gamestar Play to Earn project.

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Q1 from telegram user @sanomario

The announcement of gamestar ido, which will take place on october 27 in 3 different apps, which are duckstarter, polkaex and lightning, will these three platforms have the same tokenization, do they require kyc? Will one platform have more benefits than another? Can you give us a modernization on the benefits that we will have according to these associations? How does your organization prepare to face these new challenges of continuing to grow, innovate, develop and thus position itself as one or the best platform?

Josh:

Each platform has it’s own requirements.  Thus far, we have limited investors to non-us and non-ofac residents

We have a deeply experienced management team with strong knowledge in acquiring users, developing features that delight users and more.

We have a unique p2p solution for game items and game NFTs that does not exist in the market, and will focus on growing regions in africa, south asia, south east asia with huge unmet demand for these services.

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

How big is your team?

Josh:

We have about 12 software developers, pms and designers

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Yes, this is a promising market. Is your team anonymous?

Josh:

Marketing about 5 full-time and about 10 part-time. Plus a few admins

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for your answers. Ready to proceed to the next question?😊

Josh:

Yes

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Satoshiclubbers, there you can check more details about gamestar IDO😃

Q2 from telegram user @victorogb

The gamestar roadmap, shows a critical emphasis on achieving massive growth numbers with platform users and trading volumes. With such, gamestar hopes to grow to a minimum of 750,000 users and produce trading volumes of around 200 million usd. Some might consider these numbers as highly ambitious, but nevertheless they are attainable given proper strategic implementations. Therefore, can you carefully let us know your plans towards a gradual and progressive growth within these parameters, what media and channels will be critically employed as drivers of this growth numbers? Also, given the proliferation of projects within your chosen defi genre, how will gamestar capture such a buzzing market?

Josh:

Yes, i think people underestimate the size of the p2p trading market globally

When you consider people trading on traditional internet platforms, for example with Mpesa in Africa, or over WhatsApp in India, the total universe is huge.  There are probably way more people trading p2p than doing defi investments with eth for example.

There may be 20 or 30 million people, so capturing 200,000 through a unique non-custody solution is modest. We believe we can achieve this.

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

How do you deal with scammers?

Josh:

We have a trustless solution where different nodes judge disputes.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

You are ambitious guys😁 👏

Josh:

Judges are awarded with gms for correct judgements, and penalized for incorrect ones (against the majority)

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Great strategy, btw have you done audits to verify everything is ok with your platform?

Josh:

Yes, we have a public audit with Certik. The platform will be live next month

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

We will be waiting to check the details, thanks for the clarification. Let’s proceed with the third question

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Oh it’s so soon! Make a christmas present for users❤️😊

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Q3 from telegram user @emnking

The target of gamestar in the popular markets are game items, gift

Cards, NFTs and you plan on targeting the market in these area;

Asia, africa, middle east, europe. Why have you chosen to focus on these four continents for now? Does it entails that members of other countries not belonging to these continents would not have same advantages with those from the listed areas where you plan on expanding your market to? Are there countries that are banned from using gamestar due to their inherent government policies? I would also like to know the processes involved in doing a kyc for users as you’ve considered that it’ll not be a strict process?

Josh:

Thanks, the target markets are the ones where p2p markets are already existing and quite large, so it will be easier to grow users. However, we obviously won’t discriminate anyone. We are banning US users and OFAC users though. Ips from those locations

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

What other countries are restricted to use gamestar?

Josh:

The ofac ones like north korea, iran etc.

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

And what about latam countries? Will you focus on them in the future?

Josh:

Yes, we would like to support latam countries in the future as well

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Do you have any program for the development of local communities?

Josh:

Yes, we have many, especially in target countries we have already had in person meetups, educational seminars, conferences, pr and advertising

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

I am sure in europe you can be successful too. Thank you very much for your answers and clarifications.

Josh:

Sure

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Are you ready for the next question?

Josh:

Yes

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Q4 from telegram user @jmagsss

One of the use-cases of the $gms token is that it works as collateral to grant traders the right to trade certain types of assets on the platform and to discourage fraud. Given this, does this mean users must first have a sufficient number of $gms tokens before interacting and transaction on your platform? Also, could you explain the part where holding/having $gms can reduce and discourage fraud on your users?

Josh:

Yes, buyers of certain assets will be required to deposit some gms so that they cannot steal cards or game items

Because of this, they have a financial cost for fraud. And sellers may also  have their ip banned if they conduct fraud as well

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Please tell us more about the use cases of $gms

Josh:

We have a medium post on this, however the main purposes is as collateral, to arbitrate disputes, reduce fees for trading and also we will buy back gms to incetivise ecosystem

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

And please tell us about the tokenomics details. We know that initial market cap is $125k but what is the max supply?

Josh:

The hard cap is $3.5 million, and it will be issued over the next 9 months or so. There is plenty of time to absorb into the market. And we have an base that is mostly small buyers with max cap of 5k. We took in very little vc money

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Thanks for the info, with that answer we are ready to proceed with the next question

Q5 from telegram user @pavel_jarosh

As poer your whitepaper taurus protocol will effectively solve the problem of asset loss caused by centralised customer service audits and audit errors in traditional p2p platforms. Please provide more information on this protocol. Have it already been tested and ready to be launched? Please share some unique features of taurus protocol. Thank you!

Josh:

Thanks. It will be ready once the platform is live next month. It is in the testing phase right now. It solves the core problems because it is decentralized and trustless, so it aligns incentives with the users. We have a detailed explanation on medium

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Well, it seems next month will be a great step for gamestar. Talking about it please share us your roadmap, what else is coming?

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

I’ll share with satoshi clubbers if you don’t mind ❤️

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks a lot for the answers😍 Ready to proceed to the next question?

Q6 from telegram user @mora110

Generally, NFT marketplaces have come to be associated with purchasing/owning digital artwork since they give investors and collectors ownership of the original digital piece while retaining copyright and reproduction rights for the artist. While this may appear to be a very niche use case for NFTs, they have also come to represent a significant shift in the way customers buy and sell digital assets such as music, downloadable content for video games, and movies. The fact that smart contracts ensure publishers, artists, and content providers are compensated each time an NFT is sold has made them all the more preferable for artists from various industries. My question is. What’s the historical background of NFTs? Why are they so popular? How much is the NFT market worth? And do they have a future?

Josh:

Thanks, I’m not an NFT market historian 🙂

However, i can tell you that i believe the real world use cases will be a stronger demand for NFTs over time, rather than art or collectibles

So gaming item NFTs, that can be used to play in games are a very appealing market for us and we will focus on these types of NFTs

Andrés m. | satoshi club:

Completely agree. Btw, have you designed some NFTs that can share with us?😁 we love digital art

Josh:

Ha, not yet
