Introduction of CPU Coin project.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Hello, dear satoshi club community! We are pleased to announce ama with CPU coin .

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

@sbarger welcome to our community.

Sean barger:

Hello all, great to be here!

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

We are honored to have you here today😊

Thanks for joining!

Let’s start!

Introduce yourself please. How did you get to be involved in crypto & CPU coin?

Tell us please about your position in CPU coin?

Sean barger:

I am the MD of CPU coin.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

What is the essence of CPU coin?

Sean barger:

We’ve been building a computing global network, by creating a miner that anyone can install today. I got into this because I believed there was a big waste of computing power around the globe and a huge opportunity to create a network that auto-scaled to meet the needs of enterprise services.

Cpucoin is building a decentralized mining network that runs on publicly available computing os’s and platforms that powers enterprise back-end services. We call this the computing global network or cgn, which can be used for standard cloud services and for powering cryptocurrency/blockchain applications of all kinds.  This will enable defi, NFT imaging, oracles, and other decentralized applications to run in a network that is not part of AWS or azure and can run autonomously without any reliance on expensive hosted services. We have built the traffic management system, the identity server to manage payments and dashboard services, launched our first miner which runs on 80+ percent of all computers today. The mission is to create the cgn dao to operate perpetually completely autonomously.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

These are really burning tasks of modernity👏👏👏

How long does it take to develop a project?

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Innovative strategies, great job

Sean barger:

Yes, we tested, and on even the best consumer-grade machines, crypto mining of traditional coins is very expensive with electricity and it really doesn’t provide much value to miners.

We started in 2018, but we licensed about 300 man-years of r&d to create the first miner and dservice that currently installs and runs on our testnet, which you can see operating on our homepage.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Also we would like to know more about your team. Who is on the project team core?

Sean barger:

Compute around globe

The CPU coin team combines industry expertise & proven records in serial entrepreneurship and the ability to power large-scale multi-billion-dollar infrastructure solutions. Lead by sean barger, the first producer of tetris – the #1 selling game of all time, publisher of debabelizer batch processor which sold over 1mil copies globally, inventor of dynamic imaging powering web 2.0 content sites around the globe and now is pioneering decentralize compute sharing for enterprise workloads to power the decentralized revolution.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

It’s really amazing🤩

Sean barger:

My chief architect was the first 30 engineers at netsuite and left to come and architect our system and build the automatic traffic manager.

My CTO did superfund for hedge fund investment and iflip which has auto ai trading portfolios for stocks and crypto on iOS.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

How did you choose the name of the project?

Sean barger:

My vp of engineering is the bridge between CPU coin and equilibrium, and has been heavily involved in the first dservice, which is the system powering some of the largest websites and b to b portals in the world.

Sean barger:

Cpucoin was chosen for it’s simplicity and lack of conflicts in the crypto marketplace. Simple, we are building the air bnb of CPU power and anyone can play.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

You have a really unique team! Obviously, the idea is so ambitious that it rallied the best specialists around itself.

Sean barger:

We call it the real real real plan. Real experienced team, real technologies that are battle-tested, and a real plan to create real services that everyone can use to drive adoption and consumption of CPU coin.

Thanks! Your core team always has to be top notch. These guys deliver and have working with me for years.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for a great introduction, we will have several questions selected for part 1. Ready to start?

Sean barger:

Sure. Let’s light this candle!

Preselected questions about the CPU Coin DeFi project.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Q1 from telegram user @emnking

Cpucoin has partnered with Probit to be a trusted CPU coin (CPU) wallet provider. Using the Probit wallet solution will enable you to earn CPU directly into your Probit exchange wallet, thus allowing you to transact or trade CPU  for USDT (tether). My question is why have you chosen solely Probit as the only exchange platform for $CPU  trading? Since the earned CPU goes directly into the Probit exchange wallet, how secured is it from attack by hackers and the rest? And also are there plans to expand the trading pairs with CPU  instead of only USDT?

Sean barger:

Probit has proven to be a very secure and high-speed platform. We chose them first because of the IEO we did with them. We are about to be listed on a number of top 10 exchanges this year and one of the pre-requisites to work with exchanges is that we must have an API that will enable our miner payouts directly into their wallets. This can be done every minute or 15 minutes to automatically payout miners.

We have plans to add trading pairs as we roll out other listings.

Cpucoin is an ERC-20 token listed on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Do you have plans to include other chains and exchanges soon?

Sean barger:

We will be doing a post-DEX offering shortly to expand our team and marketing budgets using atom foundations’ new smart swap and PDO finance platform. Very cool. We have a top 10 exchange signed and another lining up via our senior Hong Kong ba advisors.

As we build our dao new chains will be supported, as we expect to create a persistent DAO to power defi services that’s self-managing.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Amazing, don’t forget to share the coming announcements with our community😃

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for your great answers

Sean barger:

Thank you we will. If you haven’t seen it the pdo platform is very exciting, with a secure future, and dumper shield, etc. Very cool system and we will be one of the first pdo’s to launch.

Q2 from telegram user @brainchest

I don’t quite understand how your system works. Is the miner I install on the device used to reprocess the info or just to mining cgn token?

If this program serves the data, how can the privacy of the data sent by the application be protected?

The application sends the data to the server for processing and your server sends it to the devices. So if any device has a malicious app reading the info, then there is a chance that some of the private data will be known to 3 people.

Sean barger:

One of the largest banks in the world approved our security model and is proceeding with a live data test.

CPU Coin security

We are a stateless computing system. Any processing is done and completed and delivered. There are different tiers of security. 1, 2, 3a/b, and 4

1 is onprem, testing can be done onprem by any enterprise to reviewing our security.

2 is iso9001:2015 compliant datacenters. Our Cudos partnership will launch with our Linux miner as an enterprise service on their secure datacenter partners only for example.

3 KYC users on the consumer-grade network, where people are unlikely to be bad actors because we will know who you are. Customers can select this level of risk.

3.b is lower cost and this is where enterprise customers don’t care, they just want the cheapest and fastest, and want to know that we have some basic info about the miners in this tier. (name, address, email, phone).

4 when a customer wants to process billions of images, or videos that are already in the public domain, and they just want to get the job done as inexpensively as possible, as an example, this is the least expensive tier. Another example is, microservices that route decentralized device information i/o very fast and it’s not confidential info…

We also have plans for sgx and AMD in-memory encryption so that the end-to-end pipeline is never decrypted.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

It seems that you care a lot about security, have you done some audit process or hackathons to check the safety of the platform?

Sean barger:

Those are coming soon! Right now, the platform is serving up the first dapp called tweeki.io which solves big ingestion problems for anyone wanting to import any type of image or document and is tired of errors. The bank also did a tech review and will do a security audit after the coming on-prem test.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Do you plan to provide work power to large marketplaces, companies with gaming applications?

Sean barger:

Yes. There are all kinds of applications for transforming content, processing video, rendering frames, decentralizing and streaming content, etc. We are also big on NFT content middleware and hosting as part of our roadmap.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for clarifying👍

Can you briefly explain who needs to pass KYC verification?

Sean barger:

Currently, only the different data center customers as they come online. The current level that we serve is 1, 3.b, and 4 which power tweekit.io for example. We are launching a miner dashboard that will enable us to add 2 and 3. level miners which premiums will be paid for their information disclosure, qualifying them for secure jobs.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Thanks for the detailed answers, time to proceed with the next question🥳

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for your answers😊

Q3 from telegram user @dk177

Global community is a vital ingredient of a project. However, I noticed that citizens from several countries including USA, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are banned from participating in the IEO. What is the reason for this ban? Many governments relevant to this list have not banned cryptocurrencies in their countries. For example, the ownership or transaction of the digital currency is not a crime in bangladesh whereas selling or buying cryptocurrencies in sri lanka is not against the law. However, by imposing this ban, did you decide to keep these citizens away from your project? Can’t they apply for your future sales or participate in community events?

Sean barger:

They can apply and participate in community events certainly. This was a requirement under Cayman law for the initial exchange offering to stay compliant, which was the reason for the limitations. That happened in September of 2019. We have been building it ever since.

Oh, and on that prior question, here’s a sneak peak at the new miner dashboard that will have earnings by miner, provide the ability to upgrade to higher payout plans, referral programs, services that you have enabled or are limiting, etc. Etc.

Q4 from telegram user @andrey_seleznov

Hi CPU coin!

I read that while CPU coin is in testnet phase you provide free CPU coin with partner incentives with boinc installation. Could you please elaborate more about this partnership? Does this incentive apply to all boinc hosted projects or only some specific ones? Do users need to do anything special to register for this incentive? How will you distribute the incentive tokens, I assume at the very least you need to collect user wallets?

Thank you!

Sean barger:

No user wallets, remember, we payout directly to your exchange wallet. Soon this will be selectable by miner, there are no miner limits, but they do need to be on different virtual or physical machines with their own installation.

Boinc is a partnership to promote covid research, therefore only a few of the projects payout extra CPU coin’s per day. That information is on the website with detailed instructions. The great thing about our miner is, it works anywhere, and on just about any windows machine today. Again, tokens are delivered automatically every 15 minutes. If an exchange has any token delivery issue, the dashboard keeps track of tokens accruing and when the exchange comes back online, they all get delivered.

We expect to work further to expand decentralized storage that’s enterprise class, via protocol partnerships, support protocols that are new, and that already exist. As we are middleware. Our BOINC partnership is a reflection of our plans to be the middleware that decentralizes and ties all the different services together to auto-scale and to autonomously operate.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Btw do you have your own powerful servers for work with powerful applications?

And based on the above, does my income depend on the power of my device?

Sean barger:

Good question!

Today, as we are on testnet, the payouts are small and require little CPU  power. However, we are testing bandwidth, speed and capabilities and automatically tracking bursting content generation today. We have our own internal testnet, but the one you see on the site is live computed. You will see your miner show up instantly when you install our solution on your machine (linux next, mac os after!)

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

This is a very interesting solution👏

Sean barger:

The amount you receive will be based not on “hashing”, but rather on the amount of productive work you do for others.  During this testnet phase, however, you can contribute with an annual subscription today, and get a 1 year bonus locked up and a much greater rate of accrual daily.

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Smart solution, it seems you have a an excellent team 😁

Sean barger:

Ie. Free is 1 CPU coin per day + 1 for boinc. $500 subscription, get’s you 10 per day and 2,500 bonus tokens. We also provide extra bonuses from time to time. See the plans on our website here: https://CPU coin.io/mineroffers/

Sean barger:

It’s a win/win way to support the project and get in early!

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Indeed win/win 👍

Sean barger:

We have a lot of miners who pay to expand accruals, set it and get ready for the ride!

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Well, I think we can proceed with the 5th question, @sbarger ready to go?

Sean barger:

Great!

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Q5 from telegram user @arisabela

In your whitepaper, you mention that your model also includes the ability to dedicate portions of collected revenues to charitable causes, so this definitely great news, can you tell us through what channels will your platform be connected to these donations campaigns and how will them be choosed and voted? Also, on what percentage will you distribute your donations to these causes?

Sean barger:

Great question!

Sean barger:

From the beginning, we wanted to be a positive catalyst for change in the world. In our mainnet launch in the future, we intend on making a way for developers, enterprises of dapps and dservices, to automatically accrue and/or deliver the % of any transaction that they desire to a charity of choice. Also, we intend on providing an overarching % of all CPU coin earned to automatically be distributed via community vote for utilizing services to bridge the digital divide globally. This is tbd, but it’s all baked into our protocol plan.

Excellent question.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Thanks for great answer😍

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

And excellent answer, very noble cause👏

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Can you please share a roadmap with us?

Sean barger:

Our roadmap is constantly evolving, and we believe it’s best to carefully define and make decisions based on best of breed protocols and initiatives. You can find it on our website at CPU coin.io. It’s about to have an update through 2023. For now, here it is:

CPU Coin radmap

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Flexibility is a very good quality😁 Still you have come a long way👏👏👏but more work lies ahead.🚀 Thanks for unforgettable answers😁 ready to proceed to the last question of this part😉

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

A lot of great events coming, we are happy to be part of that road🥳💪

Sean barger:

Of course, agreeed! We know how to ship and deliver products. That’s all we do. We also got a big head start by utilizing battle tested technology that works and is expanding from there, rather than starting from scratch.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

I like that you are not afraid of difficulties! And you go to the intended goal👏👏👏

Sean barger:

Which I believe is a fool’s errand, especially in this space. If you are starting from scratch, you need a lot of time and a lot of money to get anything done right, and time doesn’t accelerate with money!

A quote that I like to use that makes it possible to achieve anything you really want in business and in life is as follows…do you want it?

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Quite right. Most valuable resource

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Sure

Sean barger:

“Any goal clarified daily and executed upon shall be realized.” – Sean Barger

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

Completely agree! Well, it has been a great time but are near to the end of this first part of the ama.

Q6 from telegram user @jamesxmen

Cpucoin team plan to offer a unique, flexible & scalable b2b service by providing dapps to deliver services between consumer & enterprise class. Do the team decide to cover entire area of b2b sector? Will the dapps be developed by your team or, will you allow the third party developers to develope dapps on CPU coin platform? What kind of taxes, will the consumers & enterprises pay on behalf of using your dapps? Will the entire CPU coin community be rewarded with any kind of benefits by using CPU coin dapps?

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

These golden words need to be carved on nfт 😁

Sean barger:

Haha, but yes. I am proud to say I skipped college on those words and never looked back 🙂 Now for your great question!

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Shhh… There are students among us.. It is better for them not to know this 😂

Sean barger:

As we ready our dao, we will be adding the ability for developer to launch and auto-deploy dservices on our miner network. We will develop our own to get to low hanging fruit and to create real solutions that have immediate customer opportunities, like tweekit.io. However, the plan is to enable anyone to deploy dapps and Dservices on our network, and not have to create their own paywall, and not have to scale their backends on their own. That’s the prize, easy auto-scaling of your decentralized services on the edge is all built in to what we are making. With everyone’s support for our project, and with our great core team to build with, we can deliver a suite of next-generation services that benefit all.

Taxes is handled by each individual as with any service. Rewards will be changing as we ready our dao and final main net launch. More coming soon on this!

Haha. It was a timing thing. Not saying to skip college!

We will also follow up on the answers on the website for those that didn’t get their questions answered here or in the live session!

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Btw… One of our members ask me in pm onе question. Can I give it to you right now😁

I read that Nvidia has created special cards for servers providing virtual reality services.

Do you have plans to make such a service for companies with virtual games, as well as for services with decentralized world? There is a growing demand and from day to day more and more people are immersed in virtual reality. So more projects could use your service and the cgn token could get a huge capitalization.

And so, the question is. Do you plan to compete in the area of high performance with other companies? (с)

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

He is very fascinated by your project and sees great prospects in it.😁

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

As everyone, a project with strong fundamentals👏😁

Sean barger:

Yes! We already are going to be announcing a partnership soon with a company that has a great encrypted decentralized storage solution that is hardware-based but can be deployed in software. We believe, through precise machine capabilities management, we will be able to launch and auto-scale a host of GPU capabilities. Similar to our video transcoding capability that is detecting sandy, ivy, Haswell intel chips to process video 7x the speed of normal CPU’s

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

You hit the point 😁 thank you very much for this great first part of ama😊

Sean barger:

Thank you for these great questions guys.

Gold rocket | satoshi club:

Now get ready for the most impressive part of our ama! Live questions! It will be Niagara falls!

Andrés m. | satoshi clubr:

@sbarger yes, thanks for your answers, you were a great guest. Now, be ready, a ton of quality questions are coming

Sean barger:

A lot of you dug deep into our whitepaper, very impressive! We make it to bring people up to speed in a way that is less technical on purpose! Ok, I will do my best!

PART 2.Questions about the CPU Coin project from the live chat of the telegram community.

In this part, we open a chat for the crypto community for 120 seconds. Then the guests from the CPU Coin crypto project choose the top 10 questions. The 10 crypto enthusiasts have earned cryptocurrency in the sum of 100$.

Q – 1 from a telegram user @Ecmq10

Hello CPUcoin team.. You mentioned that the CGN is designed with speed in mind. How did you overcome the problematic transaction rate limitations currently posed by blockchain technologies? I did read that you implement a state-of-the-art blockchain-anchored microtransaction system. Can you explain what this system consists of? Why did you decide to implement it?

Sean Barger:

This is detailed in our technical whitepaper! But is a great question, we combine our CGN for just in-time delivery request, with very high speed backend database tracking and do payouts rolled up every 15 minutes to miners and dApp solution providers like Equilibrium.

Q – 2 from a telegram user @MM_carlos

You said that your platform is serving the first dApp called Tweeki that solves big ingestion problems for anyone who wants to import any type of image or document and is tired of errors. What are some of the most recurring management problems and how can your dApp help in this area?

Sean Barger:

Good question. When was the last time you tried a service and it asked you to upload an image or a pdf, or a document, and when you did, it said it was too small, in the wrong format, to much resolution, etc? With this solution, ALL those problems go away by just putting our widget on your site or app, or just simply using our API’s, the requests are rendered by the miners, all metadata is scraped, so no origin information is allowed by default, and the final rendered output is provided din the format you want without any errors, making the service of the customer work much much better.

Q – 3 from a telegram user @captainprice111

How does the CPUCOIN platform plan to address the consumption inefficiency experienced in the global computing infrastructure? Will the CPU be able to access spare capacity offerings that are not used in the market and are waiting to be used, or will it be able to restore CPU power? Are CPU systems fast enough for the market?

Sean Barger:

Understand this is a complex problem and a great question. If you look at our miner dashboard on the website, you will notice that we are constantly testing for machines on-demand worthyness and tracking it’s capabilities. If it’s slow, or only good for high latency applications, it can handle batch processing, whereas, the machines with blinding speed and great internet, can process content on-demand. This is one of the best part of the network we are building, it’s dynamically scaling and allocation resources on-demand.

Q – 4 from a telegram user @Emidm28

You have coined the term “DService” to describe the services component of cloud-based applications and DApps that run in the CGN. You mentioned that anybody will be able to develop their own DService and run it in the CGN. What requirements must they meet to be able to do so? What are the main components of a DService? What mechanism allows many types of requests to be made to a single DService?

Sean Barger:

The dService was built with the mediagen as part of it. This has been used to power on-demand content processing and delivery. Currently, our decentralized service and network has unveiled the initial api’s at Tweekit.io, but there’s 500 api commands and modifiers coming along with video transcoding as well. This is multi-threaded, multi-process, and will work virtually anywhere where you have an internet connection! The system is stateless and stores no content currently on your compute, however, it does have the ability to stream results back to anywhere, or save to AWS or Azure Datalake, IPFS, STorj, Filecoin protocols coming along with a new provider I spoke of that we are partnering with (not announced yet) that solves fast secure decentralized storage onboard any compute and with custom hardware.

Q – 5 from a telegram user @ashwini_Crypto

As I see, Your First milestone was achieved way back in Q1 2018,
Till then what other Achievement CPUcoin has made?
What did you learnt in these 3 years?

Sean Barger:

We have achieved a lot, we have a SHIPPING cloud hosted service that’s working today, we have miners all over the globe, we have great partnerships that are growing and are about to deploy a LOT of miners, etc. etc.

Q – 6 from a telegram user @Asela1112

I understood, CPUcoin involved in Miner products called Miner software subscription. So Can anyone mine $CPU without a Technical knowledge about consensus mechanism such as Pos or PoW?

Sean Barger:

Yes. Just install the miner! That was an easy answer to a very important question. We tested attempting to mine Monero on a machine that was a state of the art apple tower for example. It was able to earn about 11,000 SAT in 1 month, about $3.80 at the time. The electricity bill went UP $30! This is NOT a good idea right? It also baked my son who was helping with the test, and we had to move it out of his room! This is not good for the world, we aim to change that by providing enterprise solutions that don’t require a ton of computing to deliver extreme value. The current miner can process thousand of images per minute on just a couple of cores. This is efficient and very fast, and profitable for our miners!

CPUcoin provides 4.5 times more computational throughput per dollar than AWS Lambda, what gives CPUcoin the edge over AWS Lambda?

Sean Barger:

This is simply math. If you use AWS lambda, the api calls add up very quickly, and just based on pure computing comparisons, we are a fraction of the cost to operate, and there are huge benefits to developers and customers of services because of the auto-scaling nature of what we are building powered by a decentralized network that can be directly to work locally based on proximity…so there are a lot of advantages both in cost and ease of scaling of new services. Because we are based on unused computing power that’s already on-line, we believe this is going to help reduce the amount of new spend annually on IT infrastructure that powers back-ends for everything you see today. This must be done to help save our planet!

Q – 8 from a telegram user @Rinkus987

According to your roadmap 2021 Q3 Launch “second DService /Dapp”. Can you talk more about second content hub Dapp and how it will play a crucial role in Cpucoin Ecosystem?

Sean Barger:

Good question. you can actually see the demo if you go to the dashboard, it’s initially called MediaRich Publisher, but this will be changed as we turn it into a discreet hosted service. Think of it like a dropbox on steroids having many of the same features, but also the ability to PUBLISH the content and automatically hosted the publised assets at-scale. This would also include tethering for automatically updating that hosted content, and an NFT version of this would provide the ability to host persistent NFT content data, but provide a middleware to deliver awesome NFT experiences that would be on the DAO forever but display beautiful custom NFT experiences on-demand.

Q – 9 from a telegram user @tomo_fan

I find this Project a bit complex & users who are from non-tech history will find it quite tough to understand this Project,
How can they get to know about the project in very Simple language?
Any Youtube video or 1 page?

Sean Barger:

Yes, i know this is very heady…but actually if you think about it, most of the best, and real project are! Pokadot for example!… Here’s a great thing to do, go to our website which is in 10 languages at: https://cpucoin.io There you will find an explainer video in your language of choice. We are the real deal, and this breaks it down in 3 minutes for you.

Q -10 from a telegram user @Nonerlike

Could you please provide me tokenomics of CPUcoin? DO YOU have any burning and buyback features so that attraction towards project will increase?

Sean Barger:

Great question. We do have the ability to burn as needed. We do expect that, as our model grows in traction, that more listings and offerings will be made online in different regions. You can see our allcations on the website. We are senior professionals that are interested in creating a long term persistent DAO solution to solve all these back end issues with decentralized hosting, and we believe it’s very important for the entire defi, crypto and blockchain industry to make this work in a scalable flexible way that builds as we grow, and doesn’t try to boil the ocean like you see with some projects where there’s 5-10 years of speculation before they ship anything at all! We expect that, with our PDO and major listings coming that we will have the resources to dramatically grow the team and initiatives to be one of the leaders in the shared computing space.

Part 3 – Quiz about project

In the final part, we tested the knowledge in terms of the CPU Coin project. They’ve prepared 4 questions for this part, so everyone could be a part and answer. Participants had 10 minutes to answer. 300$ was distributed between the winners.
