The total reward pool was 500$ and has been split into 3 parts.

In this AMA Recap, we will try to summarise the most interesting points for you.

Part 1 — introduction and questions from the Website

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Hello Satoshi Club! We are happy to announce our AMA session with Acent! Welcome to Satoshi Club😀

D. | Satoshi Club:
Today our guests – @triggah61 and @angellaSEA ! 🥳

Hello and welcome!

Sean Kim:
Hello Satoshi Club!

My deepest appreciation expressed to you!

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Hello, Sean! Welcome here 👍

Sean Kim:
Hello Mary.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
How’s going?

Sean Kim:
I’m am doing wonderfully well feeling blessed. How about yourself?

Mary | Satoshi Club:
I am, fine😀 excited to know more about Acent😉

Sean Kim:
I’m excited to be here contributing to the change we need in our society.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
And for the beginning we want to ask you to introduce yourself and Acent project to our community!

Sean Kim:
Alright, well. We live in times of turmoil. We understand that it is not easy to cope with the corruption and injustice we see in the world. I truly believe that Satoshi Nakamoto has created bitcoin because he does not only dream but also see a freedom based economy and business environment to be the light of the world. In this, I have realized that smart contract technology and infrastructure inspired by Vitalik can play a very strong role in accelerating the degree of freedom that we all deserve. However, I don’t know if you have realized this, but blockchain can be difficult, slow, and costly for the general population. This is why I am pushing the agenda of decentralization by pushing a scalable mainnet solution that is practical with a software solution such as the Osiris browser so anyone who knows how to use a browser can start enjoying the benefits of blockchain technology.

We want to provide a scalable solution at the same time easy enough for people to use so our pride and passion can lead to mass adoption. For this, we have realized we need a pro-freedom browser and a blockchain agnostic web 3 metawallet.

That is our passion.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Yes, personally i realized this from the beginning and this concept is very close to me😀

Sean Kim:
I hope that helps.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
How did you get into the cryptospace? What is your role in Acent?

Yes, you’re building really decentralised world 😀

Sean Kim:
I play several vital roles in this journey. 1. I am the philosopher who keeps everyone in check when we start deviating from our mission. I do not wish to become the next google or facebook. I want to become the first benevolent tech giant which heals the injustice tech giants have committed in the past. 2. I do all the high, midlevel tech architecture design. I am the tech architect of our projects. 3. I also provide a lot of creative ideas in terms of content building for future exciting dApps which I cannot talk about them now because I do not want to spoil the future presents we have been working on for the community. 4. I do contribute to the marketing campaigns directly but this role will become more and more limited as better and fresher minds are joining our organization in that aspect

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Wow, so many roles!🤩

Sean Kim:
I need to also give credit to my competent CTO Shin Daisuke and our beloved engineering team for the architectural competence we are passionate about.

Shin is a genious in his own way.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Our applouds to Shin👏

Sean Kim:
There are also more people I owe my success to which I cannot mention here.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
How many people are in your team?

Sean Kim:
Our South Korean team consists of about 10 people and about 35 ~45 people fluctuating in our tech global tech hub mainly in Philippines, but also in India and Vietnam. Roughly about 50 people in general.

Our team has been constantly expanding specially within the last year.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Quite big team!

Sean, thank you for your intro! I am really expressed by your vision!

Sean Kim:
It took us a while to build this team

I appreciate it.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
And can’t wait to hear your answers to the questions from our community 😀 are you ready?

Sean Kim:
I am ready and happy to answer them to the best of my knowledge.

I’m a big fan of gifs hehe

Q1 from Telegram user @michelth
As we well know thanks to the excellent features of ACENT’s ‘Osiris Browser’, users in various countries are already switching to Osiris. but could you explain to us what are those excellent and incorable characteristics? How are users satisfied? Regarding security, can I still maintain my privacy with VPN? How fast can I experiment with this browser? Is it true that its speed exceeds the speed of Google Chrome?

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Ahaha, we as well

Sean Kim:
Alright this question is quite important so I will explain this as much as I can. Please be patient with me since I am not providing prewritten answers. I takes a while for me to formulate the answers.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Sure, take your time 😀

Sean Kim:
First of all, we can realize that certain tech giants have played a big role in our society slowly to build a centralized world government. They do actually own and do whatever they want with people’s information. They also have the power to profit with them as much as they want at the same time hide or distort whatever information they want for their own agendas. We are seeing this more and more specially in the most recent global environment where we have a global crisis

U see Mary.

Browsers play a big role in our lives.

Also search engines.

They have the power to selectively inseminate untruthful ideas or also extract vitial information from you.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
I know and that’s why it’s so important

Who owns information owns the world

Sean Kim:
It is my personal believe that in the new upcomming age of decentralization, tech companies whould also have a oeath to swear by like medical organizations. We should also say “We shall do not harm.” \

This is why you may realize that privacy and security will be the new playing field for browsing technology.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
But mostly people don’t realise how dependent they are

Sean Kim:
I do not claim that we are most powerful browser out there. As a matter of fact, we need to develop it quite a lot. However, I will do everything in my power to always shift our focus and effort to keep refining user protection technology. We are not perfect, but I can assure you we know what we are doing in this aspect. We want to become number 1 in privacy protection as out technology matures.

D. | Satoshi Club:
Do you building your browser from scratch or there is some technical base ‘shell’, which you took from other browser and continue building on it your product?

Sean Kim:
That is why unlike google chrome or other similar browser which depends on displays ads we focus on generation of revenue through the non-custodial metawallet.

We do not need to collect private info.

the Ads revenue generation model has been used as a convenient excuse for manupulation of information in the internet.

It is about time we evolve past that.

Aside from blocking centralized ads, we do take pride in our speed.

However, the most attractive aspect of our work is the metawallet which is blockchain agnostic. We want the user to stop depending on centralized browsing technology and installation of unstable software.

These are some of the things I can say for now but I don’t want to spoil the surprize.

Many more exciting events and presents are comming ahead.

We are chromium based for now. We used to have a muon basecode. We have realized the technical limitations of that direction.

The newly upcomming soon-to-be released chromium base Osiris will gradually become ungoogled as we have passion for privacy protection in these times of uncertainty.

D. | Satoshi Club:
Nice! new release will be available on all devices? dekstop version, mobile?

Sean Kim:
I believe true net freedom will start shining once we roll out our meta search engine but I cannot release any information about that for now.

Desktop will be rolling our really soon. Cannot mention specific dates.

Android will follow.

World will know we mean business.

D. | Satoshi Club:
Gotcha! thank you for detailed answers! 😊

D. | Satoshi Club:
Ready for the next question?

Sean Kim:
Yes.

Q2 from Telegram user @Asela1112
In your white paper there were mentioned about three cases of Acent User Scenario which are Dapp user, Defi rewards & Ocean dapp user. Can you explain about these 3 cases with examples? How are they commercially affected on $ACENT users?

Sean Kim:
❤️

Alright, I will do my best to answer them as simply as I can. Please note that there are deep architectural concepts within that question.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
👍

Sean Kim:

  1. dApp users will be able to enjoy their dApps on the Osiris regardless if they are ETH, TRN, EOS, or any other blockchain network without having to install a bunch of extensions or plug ins. Remember this is a big win because the extension based architecture of chrome including metamask is very vulnerable to security breaches. If you know browsers you will know this. In our platform thanks to the metawallet this threat can be minimized so you have a safe truly web 3.0 experience.

It is worth noting that the metawallet is the crown jewel.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
I even couldn’t imagine that it is possible

Sean Kim:
Metawallet give you access to the Acent mainnet which is designed to become an alternative to Etherem. A. mainnet should be faster because of the POSA architecture. B. should be cheaper by desing. C. All nitro(eth equivalent of gas) fee earnings from the POSA network goes to the Acent holders. It means rich get richer, poor gets richer. Win Win. D. Better bisiness performance for dApp builders. E. Allows dApp developers to port their dapps to ACent without extra development time since it is 100% Ethereum compatible.

This is all under development. Cannot mention specific dates. The roadmap is still 95% intact you can check it out in our twitter.

Let’s talk about defi rewards.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Sure!

Sean Kim:
Aside from launching our own uniswap fork. We are planning to allow our users to contribute to the entire network by participating in the Acent Substance Accumulation Pool.

What this basically means.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Yes, tell us more👏

D. | Satoshi Club:
It will be fork of Uniswap V2? as i know there is some restriction regarding their V3 version, which not allow to use their tech in other projects

Sean Kim:
You can earn Acent by earning your share of the nitro fees collected by all the network transactions happening in the Acent mainnet. You do not need expeinve mining equipment. You do not need a lot of Acent. Whatever you have, you can contribute. More details of this will be released. Some of the prelimilary work is alredy in our github docs.

Later we will build defi dapps based on stable forks of open source defi protocols naturally such as uniswap. However this is stage 2. We must get through stage 1 first which is what I have explained.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
We will wait for the updates!

Sean Kim:
Let’s talk about Ocean.

Sean Kim:
Ocean is a hybrid form of architecture which we have designed to allow users to enjoy high performance applications to run on the local desktop PC withou the limitations of decentralized blockchain transaction network speeds. Ocean allows us to do user data management with digital data management rather that using blockcain for every single data calculation. In easier terms, it may allow high performance graphics games to run.

With strong blockchain unique features

This is all I can say for now.

I hope that answers your questions.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Sure! Thank you for your detailed answers!

Ready to go to the next question?

Sean Kim:
Ok I need a cup of water.

Just kidding.

Let’s go.

D. | Satoshi Club:
🚀🚀🚀

Q3 from Telegram user @victorogb
A study of the ACENT tokenomics and token distribution, shows that ACENT will have a total supply of 2 billion tokens with 50% of that amount (1 billion) kept as reserves, while the remaining 50% is distributed among; the team, partner, development, marketing and sales respectively. Can you carefully explain, what the reserve tokens would be used for, at what instance or events would they be required or utilized, will there be a possibility that reserve tokens might be burnt periodically, and why did the Acent network and consequently Osiris decide to allocate half of it’s total token supply to reserves?

D. | Satoshi Club:
Let’s talk about tokenomics 😁

Sean Kim:
Most of the allocation will be used for habitat development purposes. Recently we are carefully putting strong emphasis on hackathons and grants to foster supporting developers and businesses. Also, we are seeing a lot of movement and brainstorming being done to push marketing. We are doing our best to do what is best to achieve our mission and reach a point in stage where we can truly be confident we become a major player in the blockchain industry. Regarding burns and specific numeric I cannot speak spontaneously here because my word is my bond. What I can definitely say is that we will do what is best for the benefit of our community and contribution to the mass adoption of blockchain technology through Acent.

All will be revealed when the time is right for the best of all concerned. Have faith in our mission and we will repay you with more hard work and dedication. That is something I can confidently tell you.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Is this right contract address?

https://etherscan.io/token/0xec5483804e637d45cde22fa0869656b64b5ab1ab

Sean Kim:
Yes that is the one.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
The main amount of tokens is concentrated on the top holders wallets, almost 90% or even more.

Do you plan to add more holders?😀

Sean Kim:
90% are you sure?

I think you are mentioning the company allocation portion?

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Sean Kim:
Aha I what you are referring to.

The portion you are mentioning is the company allocated lock up amount including reserves.

The strategy to increase holders are can be naturally digested as we are migrating to the acent mainnet. Remember Acent is in erc20 format.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Got it! We will wait for this event! Thank you for your answers! Ready to go to the next question?

Sean Kim:
As the mainnet is released more holders may or may not join as we released the ASAP.

That is to be waited and seen however, you may already imagine what the likely scenario will be when you see a nitro rewards sharing contract going online.

Stay tuned for more specific dates and details in our sns

Q4 from Telegram user @orlemys
With Orisis you will seamlessly create an environment where people will be able to use your token and any other features you provide, without prior knowledge about how blockchain works. This sounds very promising, but there are also many risks. Users’ main concern nowadays has to do with security and data collection. We’ve also seen problems of this nature arise a lot recently, not only among users but also from huge tech companies, like this year’s privacy data battle between Apple and Facebook. How can you ensure us that Acent will provide users with top-notch security and privacy while using Orisis Browser? How will data be collected and stored safely?

Sean Kim:
👍

This is not a difficult answer.

However, we don’t want others to steal our ideas so I will answer it to the degree that it does not leak vital future direction.

I will tell you a few things.

100% open source “XXXX” search engine is involved.

It’s not a search engine.

It’s a XXXX search engine. I will leave that up to your imagination.

D. | Satoshi Club:
Haha, nice hint 😄

Sean Kim:
We are planning to but not guaranteed to be gradually starting to release portions of our surce code that can be used for peer reveiw so we do not become another corrupt tech company.

This will be 100% community driven and open source for peer review.

I can spend all day talking about security and privacy here but what I just mentioned above should be already a good unique approach.

You may know that shows we are fundamentally different.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for your hint, we will wait for news from you!

Sean Kim:
Also big hint here.

We don’t depend on ads.

For revenue generation.

Sean Kim:
😁

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Ready to proceed?

Sean Kim:
Yes

Ads are great but they are just optional

Q5 from Telegram user @NSZR1
ACENT is currently used in 137 countries around the world, including most of North America, Europe and Asia. Currently due to the pandemic, the cryptocurrency market has experienced great growth in other countries, especially in Latin America and some countries in Africa. My question is, do you plan to expand the ACENT project in these regions in the long term? And if so, which countries would you have in your sights to be the pioneers in these regions?

Sean Kim:
I appreciate the interest of the global community. We are always deeply grateful. We are gradually expanding to allow a much wider global userbase with more competent transaltions and cultural optimization. This is surely to happen with the correct timing that won’t be neither too late nor too early. The more patience you have, the faster it will happen. Our targets are all continents with no border limitations. That is the way of web 3.

D. | Satoshi Club:
Do you think your browser will be more popular in the countries, which more seeking for privacy in the net?

Sean Kim:
I think the competition of browsing business will be or already is in certain degree focused on privacy protection. We aim to provide free vpn and or added faster vpn + web3 authenticated free speech applications on the Acent mainnet. In my personal humble opinion, it is a big yes. Our will will be attractive for global citizens seeking privacy from currupt organizations.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for your answers! Are you ready for the 6th and last question from this part?

Sean Kim:
Yes

D. | Satoshi Club:
💪

Q6 from Telegram user @NataliyaKil
You have an Ocean SSO Beta Deployment scheduled for Q3.
I could not find information about this on your website and social networks. The only thing I found was SSO is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to any of several related but independent software systems. SSO – Single sign-on. So what exactly is Ocean SSO?

Sean Kim:
This is a great question

After much thought we have decided that rather than having a centralized SSO witholding private data of the user for convenience, we have reached a common consensus through our engineering team that a sign up and sign in with non-custodial data architecture is much more attractive to the users.

This means that the Ocean SSO has been shrinked down its architecture to allow users to sign up only using our metawallet without having the user submit any private info. The user however has the choice to submit additional information such as email or KYC data if the user opts in to utilize fetures that required management of centralized databases. We will be releasing more detailed architecture informations soon thorugh our github documentaion.

Basically it means that.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
That’s clear! I personally like this system!

Sean Kim:
Users will have more privacy and no need to give a lot of info to user essential features.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Thank you for your answers! Live part is close now, are you ready for it?

Sean Kim:
Please understand that all the direction I communicate here are subject to optimization and modification such as the enhancement of the Ocean SSO.

When we see something better, faster and more transparent, we need change it.

So please exercise a degree of flexibility and don’t take the words I say like they are etched in stone.

Realize all serious technology evolves faster that the consensus. So is ours.

We want to cash on evolution and not involution.

Hope that helps.

Mary | Satoshi Club:
Sure!

Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community

Q1 from Telegram user @sofiaisla
It caught my attention that ACENT provides a pleasant internet environment and promises to offer its users the fastest browsing speed in the world, surpassing Google Chrome. But, how does it manage to be faster than the Internet browser Google Chrome being the largest and most popular search company in the world? How did you manage to implement this great speed in Osiris Browser? And finally, you mention that you decided to incorporate Blockchains in this browser, why incorporate Blockchain in a web browser? What benefits does this offer?

Sean Kim:
That is easy. There’s memory and resource optimization of the engineering aspect. However, the biggest aspect is that we do not tire your phone, pc on downloading and displaying big video ads, scripts that are designed to surveil you and other harmful data that does not help the user. This is why it is faster.

Q2 from Telegram user @Guandog
The concepts and perception of web 3.0 varies according to each vision. From ACENT, how do you see the future of WEB 3.0 and what role would you like ACENT to play?

Sean Kim:
We are passionate on becoming the alternative solution to Ethereum. We research and develop our mainnet to become a scalable solution with much cheaper and faster transaction speeds. However, none of this matters if there’s no actual product that works. Many mainnets deploy their technology on the internet depending on google chrome. We do not need to depend on them. Also, we do not depend on ads and data collection.

We donot discriminate against any other blockchain either since we work hard to implement other networks into our metawallet.

Future of web3 needs to evolve around a universal web operating system which has the benefits of the old architecture and the vision of the future. That is what we dedicate ourselves to deliver.

Q3 from Telegram user @highpee
Most popular BROWSERS use Ads revenue generation model and MONETISE user INFORMATION without their permission. Does your browser has ad-blocker and are users in charge of their browser data or history? Do you also make profit from ads?

Sean Kim:
Our main revenue generation engine evolves around the metawallet. We do not depend on any ads. Ads are optional for the convenience of the users who want rewards. More exciting details will follow at the correct timing.

Q4 from Telegram user @MaxiVV
It’s very true that to use cryptocurrency wallets on the other web browsers, users need to install multiple extensions related with each blockchain network. BUT i read that The Osiris Metawallet connects the user to dApps natively and with out having the user research or install another plug in or extension. It seems to me very useful and amazing, but does it compromise the wallet’s security? Does it exist any possibility to suffer an attack in the process?

Sean Kim:
It does not compromise security. Metawallet builds are available for peer reviews and heavy auditing in github. As the product matures this aspect will be hardened further. Great question.

Q5 from Telegram user @captainprice111
What is the $ACE token role in the ACENT platform? What is your plan to attract the community and especially students?

Sean Kim:
Acent is currently in erc20 format. When we launch the mainnet it will become like what Ethereum is for the Ethereum blockchain. Acent is required for all transactions in the Acent mainnet. It allows you to pay for Nitro(same as gas in Ethereum).

Q6 from Telegram user @Ashia_24
Users can pay ACENT for transaction fees incurred while utilizing dApps and multi-wallets on the Osiris WEB 3.0 browser. Could you please elaborate on this? What impact will it have on ACENT?

Sean Kim:
Acent is the cryptocurrency of the Acent mainnet. You need Acent to deply dApps and render transactions. ARCs(same as ERCs in ETH) will be mintable. Students should stay tuned and excited for upcomming hackathons we will be promoting over the course. More detailes will follow.

Q7 from Telegram user @alptrader
Which crypto currencies do metawallet support other than Acent mainnet? Can I use my bsc tokens there?

Sean Kim:
ERC, BSC, and other tokes will be migrateable through our ascending(wrapping) protocols.

We will continue to develop multichain migration solutions to accomodate adoption. Substantial amount of effort is being put in this area at the moment

Q8 from Telegram user @NataliyaKil
One of the opportunities that ACENT offers us is get paid when watching ads. But at the same time, one of the functions of “Osiris Browser” is Ad-Block.
It provides a pleasant Internet environment by blocking unnecessary video, banner and text advertisements that disturb users. How will these two functions “get along” with each other at the same time? Will they be connected automatically or can I configure them myself? After connecting the user to the Ad-Block service, he is automatically deprived of the opportunity to get paid when watching ads, is that so? Would like to know more about how this will work?

Sean Kim:
Ads revenue share is not a vital part of our value. It is only optional and we need to remind you that ads based browser technology cannot be the future of web3 since there are many dangers associated with its methodology. We will offer decentralized ads network but this is a long shot from now. It’s only an optional benefit we are planning to provide. No strong promises for now.

Q9 from Telegram user @smelekin
Do you also planning to create a search engine that can compete with Google or Bing?

Sean Kim:
Our XXXX SE will have a very different approach. We are excited about it but cannot reveal too much. All I can say is that it will be drastically different from the SE you have seen in the past.

100% fully open source.

More details will follow whwn the time is correct.

Q10 from Telegram user @rockmorti
How do you see the community being better involved in Acent? governance, forums or things like that could there be?

Sean Kim:
Ideally, we envision Acent to be used for governance purposes aside from the alrteady mentioned fee-sharing based on contribution. We do have this planned.

Part 3 – Quiz Results

In the final part, we tested your knowledge in terms of Acent. They’ve prepared 4 questions for this part. The total reward pool for the quiz was 300$.
